Mike Burke is not only the best painter that I have ever hired, he is flat out the best contractor that has ever worked at my house period. Mike is a meticulous painter and takes great care like it's his own house. He is so careful, that he still used tarps even when I told him to not worry about spilling paint because after the painting we were getting new carpets. His lines are so precise and the end result was a perfect ten. He offers reasonable pricing and is more than worth it in the quality work he does. Whoever reads this review, if you are ever in need of a painter, do not even hesitate to hire him. I would use him again in a heartbeat. What our family loved most about Mike was his great sense of humor and personality. He's a fun guy and made us all laugh and relaxed the whole time he was at our house. We had a really great experience with Mike(owner) at Fastrac Painting. First off, let me just say that Fastrac is by no means the cheapest, but it's not too expensive if you've already experienced inconsistent results. If you are looking for true value, you will find it with Mike: Let me just say that I suck at painting and I absolutely hate it. The last time I painted a room it was almost comical how bad it looked afterwards. So this time around, my wife and I decided to go in the complete opposite direction. We are very glad we did. The finished product is great looks great and there is absolutely no way we could have made it look that way ourselves. You may be able to find cheaper painters on Yelp or Craigslist, but I highly doubt you are going to be able to find BETTER ones. So if you need your place painted, save up some money and do it right. You won't regret it.

Fastrac Painting has helped me on numerous occasions. When our house caught fire and had to be totally repainted on the interior, Mike came out gave us an estimate and did a superb job in a timely manner. On another note he repaired a hole in my ceiling and repainted, looks like new. Fastrac rates high in my book.

I had Michael Burke do almost all of my interior painting in my house in June, 2016. One of the reasons I hired him was he is a one-man show, and I liked that, and all his reviews were excellent on the websites I checked. I used to do all my own work, because I have never had a painter that did a good job when I did hire one. He was fabulous!! His work is impeccable and, he can paint a line like no professional painter I have ever seen. In addition, his drywall repairs are excellent! I am a pretty particular person as far as not wanting painters to get paint on switch plates, towel bars, light fixtures, etc. A number of things I took down and was happy to do that, since those things were important to me. A few other things he painted around and those turned out really well. He did not get paint on any of them. I would never have guessed that. Mike is a joy to communicate and work with. He is very invested in making sure you are happy with his work and will do whatever is necessary to make you happy. However, his work is so good, that isn't a problem. I feel extremely lucky to have found him for my painting needs. And, I will certainly have him back in the future with no reservations.

Mike is phenomenal. I could write a lengthy review about this quality of his work, but I will keep to four points as to why Mike should be anyone's go to painter. First, his work is exceptional. He takes the upmost pride in the quality of his product and it clearly shows. My condo went from being in dire need of a fresh paint job to looking brad new after Mike was finished. Second, Mike is incredibly professional. He responds in a timely manner, respects your property, and leaves your place in better condition than when he found it. Third, he goes above and beyond what is expected. Mike recognized that my (2) interior doors needed work and he painted them at no extra cost for me. Additionally, he painted a stairwell that I did not expect him to paint, but he did so anyway (this was greatly appreciated). Fourth, Mike is someone you genuinely want to be around. I enjoyed stopping in on several different occasions to shoot the breeze with him. He is kind, funny, and someone who I felt very comfortable leaving a key to my condo with. I won't think twice about calling Mike for any future painting projects.

Mike did a fantastic job painting my stair railing! I called him on Friday for a free estimate and he came out the very next day. He worked very fast, starting that Saturday afternoon and finishing Sunday morning. This included several coats of paint as I wanted my previous oak stair railing to be painted white. We had a great experience with Fastrac Painting. I needed someone to paint a few extra-tall walls and a stairway because I'm afraid to go up on high ladders. It was a small job so I wasn't sure if a professional painter would be willing to take it on, but Mike was great. I contacted him on a Friday morning and the job was done by Sunday afternoon. He arrived on time, communicated frequently with us, charged us a very fair price, and was personable and friendly throughout the whole process. Made a promise to myself that I would paint my house this summer, of course spent to much time camping and kayaking, so it never got done. It was late September and I decided to hire someone to get the job done for me. I googled painters in the Ann Arbor area and saw Fastrac, Mike met with me at my home and gave me an amazing estimate and began work with in a week as he told me he was just finishing a couple of jobs. When I came home after Day one of painting I was in shock. Mike painted my garage using a spray gun, which I wanted him to do and also, me not knowing it could be done, sprayed my garage door and Wow it made my garage look brand new!!! He also did an excellent job on my house, going the extra mile to do some chaulking for me that enhanced the look. When I come home from work now It seems like a new house. I will be using Mike next month to do some interior painting for me, the ideas he has put together has me really excited for the work to be done and at a cost that saves me time and money My house and garage look OUTSTANDING!!!

Mike is very enthusiastic about painting. He also works very responsibly and promptly. I had him come to quote the job on a Sunday morning and then decided to work with him. We had an uncertainty in closing our new house, but he worked around that. As soon as I closed on Friday, I contacted him with no expectation that he could have his schedule open for us again, given that I have told him that we would not be able to close that week. He started the paint immediately on Monday and worked the whole week to get the job done. His job has very high quality at very reasonable price, too. I am very happy with his job, working attitude, and my decision of working with him. Writing him a honest and good review is at least I can do to show the appreciation.

We hired Mike to paint the interior of a 1500 sq. ft. condo in Ann Arbor. He is a true master of his craft. His paint edges that he does freehand look better than most done using painter's tape. His estimate also was all inclusive (i.e., including drywall repair and painting the ceilings white) which was a pleasant surprise from the usual nickel and diming.

We hired Mike to paint our 5,000 sq ft home that also has a finished basement. We wanted everything done--ceilings, trim and all walls. Not only was his quote $4,000 less than 2 other quotes, he made sure to paint EVERYTHING...all closets (including the shelves and ceilings!) AND the spindles on our bannister because they no longer matched the trim that was painted. It was a LONG and really tough job as our home has 20 ft ceilings in many areas but Mike handled it all with ease and never 'nickel and dimed" us through the process. He is definitely a perfectionist and made certain that we both looked through the home to make sure everything was perfect before he completed the job. Not only is Mike a great painter, he is also a really terrific person. I'd give him 10 stars if I could!

Mike recently painted the entire interior of our home, which was in serious need! The process took about a week and I could not be more pleased with the final results. I'm a perfectionist when it comes to colors complimenting each other and Mike really took his time with me to ensure I was going to be happy with the colors I'd been dwelling over for months!
