I am very happy with the work that Expert Painting did for me . The crew was very respectful of my home . They took great care to use drop cloths and were very careful with my furniture. They painted the foyer , hallway , family room and a basement stairway . The only reason I am not giving them a 5 star is because there was some paint residue on a couple of doorknobs and stairway spindles when they left the first day . That however was quickly rectified when they returned , and John made sure that I was happy with the completed job before he left. I would definitely recommend Expert Painting to anyone and will not hesitate to call them again in the future.

Brett was professional, always on time, and understanding of our concerns. My wife and I changed our minds about three times on the paint color of our kitchen and he was extemely helpful, and the color turned out wonderful. We had a lot of drywall damage- ceilings and walls throughout our home and Brett and his crew reparied it and made it look like brand-new. My wife and I are not well-versed in home repairs, and Brett was very communicative and explained everything for us and how they were going to complete our project. Brett and his crew recently did an exterior job on my home. I had a ton of rotten wood, faded and cracking paint, also some brick issues. I was thrilled with how knowledgable and skilled Brett was in reparing and replacing the wood, and matching and replacing some areas of my brick. He stayed on track with the schedule he discussed with me, and his employees were polite and hard working. They are the kind of people you would like to invite over for dinner. I have to say I have dealt with a lot of painters and handy-men in my life, and Brett stands well above the crowd. I will never use another company. Thank you BRETT and EPM!

Expert Painting might be able to paint but I unfortunately discovered they cannot repair exterior stucco hardy board. I hired Brett Crozier and his crew last fall (2016) to make several repairs to the stucco board on my Tudor style home and to paint the home in its entirety, which I later discovered did not include the service door to my garage. OK, no big deal but I had to paint it after they were done. This summer I noticed a couple of bumps forming in the areas where the stucco board was repaired but I didn’t pay much attention to it until the paint started breaking away from the stucco board. Time to call Expert Painting, which I did twice, leaving voice mails explaining the problem. After nearly two weeks I called and left a more descriptive message of what my next steps was going to be if I didn’t hear back from him ASAP. Shortly thereafter Brett called and informed me that he would come out and look at the problem but “Expert Painting” did not warrant the stucco board repairs and would not make the necessary repairs/stucco board replacement without charging me, again. Seriously? There isn’t any mention of any aspect of the job not being warranted on the estimate or contract. So, nearly a year later I have a $4000.00 job gone bad and “Expert Painting” has no intention of standing behind their work. Something I didn’t expect from a second generation company. My 2018 action plan is pretty simple. When spring rolls around I will have a couple of reliable companies come out to my home and provide me an estimate of having the stucco board repaired, again or replaced. Once the work is completed, I will see Mr. Crozier in Small Claims Court.

Never completed job that was paid for. The work that was done was mediocre at best. Kept telling me he would come back and finish and eventually stopped answering my calls. Had to have a carpenter come in and re-do and finish the work which ended up costing me a couple thousand more. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.

I made an appointment with Expert Painting & Maintenance and was able to get a free estimate within a couple of days. Brett came out and gave me a reasonable estimate for the job, and also some options in order to meet my budget. His crew was able to get me on the schedule 3 weeks later. The rain pushed it back a day but they were able to get out to complete the job the very next day. In fact, they worked from 9a-6p on a Friday and showed up Saturday morning to finish up the job. They transformed my old, yellow house into a beautifully modernized gray home in less than 24 hours! One of the guys, John, even re-mounted my new porch light for me. On top of that, one of my address numbers broke during removal so they offered to custom build a plaque for me (because i needed to cover up some pre-drilled holes from the old number set). All in all, very satisfied with the results and always love supporting a small business!

I hired these guys to paint my house in the Highland Park Area and wish I hadn’t. I wasn’t satisfied with the paint job and when I tried to contact the company they never returned my calls even after guaranteeing a 2 year warranty. These guys are cowboys and will ruin whatever you need painting. Do yourself a favor and find someone with a good reputation.
