It's been almost 10 years since Coy remodeled our basement. Stills looks as good as the first day. Met them at the Novi home show 10 years ago and they provided a very competitive estimate. Easy to work with, project completed on time with no cost overruns. I highly recommend them for your next home improvement project.

Coy did a complete deck remodel with Trex decking-- Converted an open deck to a screened porch. This included extending the roof and relocating supports. The picket railing was replaced with tempered glass. All was faced with cedar. Their expertise saved me a lot on design costs. They did everything including dealing with code officials for the permits. Their recommendations for subs to do electrical, painting and gutter work were also excellent. We had a deadline for an upcoming 50th Wedding celebration and they worked tirelessly to finish in time. Owner Mike McCoy and the crew led by Adam were readily available and interactive. The new deck was the center of our entertainment for 60+ guests.

Super happy with our porch results! We had a small porch and existing awning (beyond ugly) that we wanted replaced. City code forced us to connect porch roof to garage. The difference in roof heights/angles made that a difficult task . With creativity and great planning, Mike and his crew were able to serve us a product that we are very happy with! Trex decking is gorgeous and cedar roof interior is so pretty! Thanks to all crew and office staff.

I hired Coy Construction to build a deck over an old cement patio. Mark their deck builder did an excellent job. He arrived at the job when promised, he was very professional and kept us in the loop every day. Coy made suggestions to change the design using a relatively new deck material called Clubhouse. The deck is beautiful, we love it. Coy did such a wonderful job we hired them to finish our basement. Joe the remodeling carpenter did a wonderful job. Even the Township inspectors all commented how perfect the construction is. All of the trades that Coy employs have been with them for over 30 years. Chris at Hollywood Heating & Cooling, Neil their drywall guy, Brian their electrician and Jerry their tile contractor all did superb work.

We almost didn't hire this company to build our deck because of the negative online reviews. We decided to go for it, and we're glad we did. The price was very reasonable relative to other quotes we received. The customer service was good, and, most importantly, the deck is exactly what we wanted. Thank you to Mike, Josh and Melissa!

owner is loud and rude. went there for help replacing an old deck. was looking for some direciton on design, but that was asking too much. wanted screws instead of nails, and that was asking too much. Got to listen in as the owner yelled at some guy that was unhappy with the job they had done. This was about 10 years ago, before google maps reviews were a thing. Paybacks are heck.

Coy Construction put an amazing deck on my Model home 19 years ago...wood is a lot of work & maintenance , we decided to redo with trex... I went right back to Mike Coy , everything went just exactly like they said it would . The deck looks Awesome...wish I would have done sooner, but this year...all I have to do is put the furniture out & enjoy !

Since we decided to build a new deck in our home, we met with many different companies and in the end, chose Coy Construction. Looking back at this whole process, I'm glad we did. Mike Coy and Melissa were very responsive, very honest, easy to work with and that was just from the office side. The men who worked on our deck were very professional, kind and considerate. Honestly, my husband and I have no complaints whether it has to do with working with the people in the office or crew. Everyone did a great job and we now have a beautiful deck and we can't wait to use it!

DO NOT USE. Sold me an inferior product claiming it was as good as top end Trex. During installation, installed inconsistent colored boards as well as scratched many boards due to poor tool placement. Fastening system used was new and I have had to re-fasten nearly all boards. I genuinely hate my $20,000 deck, will be redecking within the next year or so.

Took a deposit but never scheduled the job. 8 weeks passed. We ended up getting a refund on the deposit and hired someone else. Time wasted.
