Solid work! I submitted a request for a quote and CJ texted me back within a few hours. We was able to work around my schedule and meet me the next day for a quote. We met in the morning and I had a quote that I thought was very reasonable by that afternoon. Within a few days CJ and Courtney and a few of their crew were on site and working. It was a 5 day job, and they kept on schedule and were done by 2pm on Friday. I was amazed with the amount of prep work that they did as far as patching every little ding in the drywall. The attention to detail on the trim and molding really make the room pop, and all of my walls look like they were just re-dry walled. 2 of the days I was on site with a handyman doing concurrent work, and we had zero problems working around each other to get all of the jobs done. The crew is easy to get along with, super friendly, and professional. The clean up was exceptional, too, because they even mopped my hardwood floors, which were really dirty before CJ and his crew arrived. CJ and Son was recommended to me and I would definitely recommend them to you.

CJ had great communication and was able to accommodate a tight timeframe before my move in date. This is true family business and the whole family worked hard to get the job done. Great attention to detail. Kept the paint where it was intended to be, were able to cover up 100 years of prior paint, and protected my unpainted trim. Used top quality Benjamin Moore products and took care of my place like it was their home. Would definitely use them again for future projects or recommend to anyone in the Ypsilanti or Ann Arbor area.

We hired CJ earlier this year for exterior painting and these guys went above and beyond! They were clean, professional and they were the only ones that listened to our needs. We were so impressed with their work that we referred them to my daughter who was looking for a painter to paint the exterior of their home. The painters were very professional, low maintenance, covered all the furniture for us, and moved items as needed. There wasn't much pre-work involved on our end, which I really liked. The price was outstanding and they did an amazing job. The color we picked wasn't exactly what we expected, but they were willing to work with us for different options that we could go with to keep our cost low. They were super friendly, courteous, and couldn't have asked for a better paint job!

There were some damaged wood spots and he advised us how to proceed and even let them dry an extra couple of days instead of just hurrying to get the job done. Not the best experience. Have outstanding issues with the work and they are not interested in correcting. Communication has become unprofessional and information inconsistent. I would not recommend them. Had a deck that needed to be stained/painted and some boards that were rotting that needed to be replaced. They started the job on a Saturday with power washing and replacing boards, it rained that night. Rained again on Sunday. Monday they finished replacing the bad boards and it rained again. They stained my deck on Tuesday. The following day showed multiple areas of the deck that were bubbling (see video) which I communicated and their team spent the next couple of days fixing by stripping and repainting problem areas. My issue is some areas were missed which I expressed right away. I was told to wait a couple of weeks to let it cure and if still an issue they would do some more stripping. It’s now a few weeks later, bubbling still exists and I have an area which is now pealing. I followed up with CJ and asked if they could come out to the house to take a look. They are not interested and am being told my deck had this issue previously (??) and it was not in the scope of the project. I’m not a deck expert, that is why I hired them to take care of my problem and get the deck back into shape. Seems they either did not assess my job correctly from the start and figured it out too late in the process, screwed up the job by not prepping the area correctly, or by doing all of this while everything was still wet. Either way, I paid thousands of dollars and still have a deck with issues and a contractor that isn’t interested in helping.
