Very disappointed in the service of Certapro of Novi. The painters did a rush job and did not complete the project to my expectations. They did not sand in many areas and left our wood rough. In some areas they did not paint at all including under the windows in the entire house. The closets were painted but the walls were dirty with multiple scuff marks. The crew came back and we did another walk through with them and all the repairs were still not made. We sent additional pictures after their second visit and no response yet. This is a new build construction.

Dave, the supervisor, was always on time. He got the work done ahead of schedule, and everything looks great. He covered our furniture and brand new wood floors and didn't get paint on anything in our home. The whole experience was awesome, from start to finish. The entire process was awesome! Ernie came out to my home shortly after my call to CertaPro. I was working with a designer that had several small detail requests and Ernie assured me they would be done and done well. Ernie told me the weather was questionable (Late October), he felt I should wait until spring. I did wait, during the winter I emailed several times with many questions and Jennifer emailed me back quickly and kindly! They worked with my designer, gutter company, and many emails from me, with out hesitation. On the first day of the project I met the painters - Luis and his team - they were awesome! They were kind, courteous , and meticulous. They paid attention to every detail (including painting the old caulk color to match the new window color!) Luis and his team have an eye for detail and they helped my home look beautiful! My designer, Laurie Trinch (Laurie Trinch Interiors) would stop by and make small adjustments, Luis handled it without hesitation! I am beyond happy with the entire team at CertaPro Novi! Thank you

Used CertaPro for our first deck re-staining. Initial impression was good but thought the deck was going to be sanded thoroughly with an industrial sander to due to flaking condition of the previous stain and previous stain material (which was made worse after their power washing process). They ended up not sanding thoroughly and just putting stain over the flakes. It does not look like it was ever touched with sandpaper. Every flaw revealed by the power washing is now clearly visibly with the new stain. We could not believe that this is what they consider as “normal” and is their typical staining process. After the terrible results they did offer support to clean up any loose flakes but the overall result is bad. A week after the new stain our dog was able to scrape up the new stain and reveal the old stain underneath (with just running on/off the deck). There was no offer to reduce the service price due to process misunderstanding or the poor end results.
