Went with Perfect Painters & More because their bid was so reasonable, but the results were not good. The estimator came out for the bid, said our cabinets would be easy to paint, they'd remove the doors, sand and prep them and have everything painted in two days. These were 50 year old dark wood cabinets. Since they were supposed to be sanded, we did not do anything to strip the surface of the cabinets. The painter did not remove the cabinet doors, did not clean the cabinets in any way, did not sand or prime the cabinets, simply just started painting. There were large spots with no paint around almost every hinge, spots where you could see the cut-in's around the edge, drips, etc. We called them and they were happy to send the painter back out for touch ups - fine. They came back out for touch ups, but to this day we are still discovering new spots that never got painted, dirt that was painted over, brush marks, etc. This was only two months ago and the paint is already chipping and peeling off. There is paint on our dishwasher, refrigerator, microwave and floor. This was absolutely not worth the money.

Perfect Painters did an excellent job painting my condo! They were prompt, professional and cleaned up after the were done.

I had the same reaction to Perfect painter's bid as I'm sure many people do. The bid price was about a third of both the other estimates we got and that's hard to believe. I was assured that the work would be top notch and that PP volume and methods of bidding and assigning work enabled them to bid jobs at this almost unbelievably low rate. I was wary but was assured that the work would be top notch and it was. I am really glad we went with PP! This work was done while we were on vacation and we came back to a completely new home. The entire exterior of our three story house was painted. I spoke to the foreman before work began and was very comfortable with his expertise and his plan. This would have been a high quality job at any price but we saved thousands of dollars with PP and I am amazed by that. Time will tell how the work holds up but I have no reason to believe we'll have any problems. About the only concern one might have based on the quality of work and the price would be whether or not PP is taking could care of it's employees and subs. I have no reason to believe that they are not and based on my experience with management and sales reps, I trust that they are doing right by the folks who enable their continued success.

I used these guys as a favor to a friend who knew their sales guy Mike (not the owner). I had them paint the main floor and do some drywall work to cover up a wall we knocked down. They are definitely cheap but don't expect much especially in the way of service. The dry wall work wasn't good and lazy, pictures show where they cut for the light switch was incorrect so they just threw it up anyway. The ceiling they also didnt do a good job on. The painting was also not done wellI was willing to live with it for the price, they said they could send people to fix what wasnt done right but after some effort i gave up on that. I decided to try them again on another house plus some more work in the same house several months later. They were supposed to go see the places for weeks but never showed up until finally Mike said he'd send someone on a Saturday. Keep in mind i do several houses so i thought i had told him to let me know when his guy was on the way (since they no call no showed before and i was a half hour away). Apparently it was Mikes boss that was coming out, he called and said he was there i let him know i asked mike to give me a heads up but it was ok i could get there in 30 minutes so he was going to go to another appointment until i got there. Then i got a call from Mike, sales guy, yelling and screaming at me about not making up stuff and its his boss which he didnt appreciate it. So i just said ok, you probably could've gone about it better with a paying customer but thats fine. I canceled the appointment. I do high end B2B sales and understand customers can be frustrating but i always treat them with respect and when i do need to, call them out respectfully. This guy Mike just shouldn't be dealing with customers if he can't handle service. Maybe i did and maybe i didnt tell him, im juggling multiple vendors to multiple houses but thats besides the point. I refuse to work with someone that thinks its ok to call me up and speak to me that way. I wasted time waiting for them several times waiting for them to come and see the place and never once yelled or screamed about it and i guarantee my hourly rate is much higher than Mikes. Bottom line, if you use these guys then youll get treated like theyre doing you a favor. Theres plenty of good people that appreciate work that give good deals out there, no need to waste time on these guys

We hired Mike and his crew to do painting and carpeting in our newly purchased home back in March. While Mike himself was moderately professional, the work completed was not. In many places the painting was rough and uneven. Paint spots were left all over our floors. At one point they accidentally painted a part of the ceiling (which we had asked to leave untouched) and left the different colored patch until we called and asked to have it repainted in the correct shade. These are only some of the issues which occurred during the project. Mike did come back to fix some of the imperfections, but also basically claimed “you get what you pay for” even though the price was set by him and is no excuse for shoddy work. We will not be working with this company again and recommend caution to others who might consider hiring them for a job.

Ryan came out to do the estimate, which was considerably lower than other estimates I had gotten. The work was scheduled, and the painters were on time, friendly, and industrious. They had extensive repairs to complete before the walls could be painted. All the repairs, and painting of the entire 2nd floor were completed in a day. The paint job was perfect, and they cleaned up everything afterward. 5 stars; these guys are impressive! I am planning additional work, and Perfect Painters is at the top of my list.

We discovered Perfect Painters at the Maryland Home and Garden show. The project required wallpaper removal, patching/repair of walls/ceiling and painting. The crew came in on time, protected the floors and furniture with drop cloths/plastic and went to work. I wish I had taken before and after pictures. The transformation was nothing short of miraculous. I am so pleased with the attention to detail and the quality of the work that they did. I now have a contact for all of my painting needs. I just have to work on funding the projects!!!

The painters were very nice and professional they did an outstanding job.

Ryan, the estimator was nice. That's about as far as I would go with the positive. They SubContract the work out. The Painters who showed up were an family, who barely spoke any English, which was very difficult for me to understand and communicate with them. I had hired Perfect Painters to paint a whole home, Ceilings, Walls, Trim, Doors, Interior. The whole house was empty, and clean, ready for paint. No Drywall work was needed, because it was already done. Well, They got started, I left for a while to get out of their way, and would check back in the evening. Everything looked to be going good. Once they were finishing I pointed out a few spots that I was unhappy with, and they tried to touch up. I was told that when it dried it would look better due to it being wet. Ok, fine. So the next morning I went to the Property and took a look around. All the brush marks were streaky, you could see dry spots that the roller didn't cover all the way. The white doors were streaky, and had bare spots that were just flat primer. Not to mention all the Paint that was on the floors, granite counters, and tile. I called Perfect Painters on 4 occasions trying to speak with someone about getting touch up/ finish work done. Nobody answers the phone. when I finally got in touch, someone gave me a call back and said "It sounds like you need some touch up, That is fine, I'll get someone out to you." So it was scheduled, they showed up, completed most of the touch up, and cleaned a little better. Overall, the paint job isn't very good, the lines aren't very straight, and the mess requires a lot of scrubbing and clean up off my brand new floors. I feel bad for the workers, who were really trying to do a good job, but I just feel weren't professionals. I wouldn't recommend Perfect Painters, even if they are cheaper than the competitor, you get what you pay for, and I got a Sub Par Paint Job.

Jan Suter

These guys are fantastic. Great work and it makes our house look great. we will be using them again in the future.

Beautifully painted & Professional job with friendly technicians. Thank you very much for your exceptional work.

I actually had to be away from home over the two days I asked Perfect Painters to power wash and stain my deck. I felt very comfortable doing this after having a face to face with Jeff. He appeared to be very honest and forthcoming. He answered all of my question without hesitation and in detail. When I arrived home I was elated. The deck looked absolutely fantastic! They could not have done a better job. I'm very happy and extremely please with the final product to say the very least. Incidentally, my deck is approximately 30' x 40'. It is obvious they were meticulous in their effort. A week or so later we decided to asked them to paint the garage doors. Once again, they once again did not disappoint! Excellent service!

Great staff, great paint job! Will hire again, when psinting need arises! Perfectionists!!

I hate leaving a bad review, but I could never in good conscience recommend this company. We hired them to remodel my late fathers home so we could purchase it. We were on a timeline but hired them in time for the work to easily be completed. They “completed” the job 6 weeks late. And I’m still finding major issues. The porcelain tile isn’t laying flat any longer in the kitchen, among other floor and tile issues. We had them do all of the interior and exterior painting, completely gut and remodel 2 bathrooms, our kitchen and install all the carpet. The kitchen was a disaster ( partly due to the cabinet company sending the wrong cabinets- not associated with P&M) and I don’t even have the time or energy to describe the poor craftsmanship in the bathrooms, it’s truly awful. The crew was so sloppy and rushed, yet couldn’t finish on time. They also used wrong and damaged material. Days, and even a week would pass with no work done. They left us in a major time-crunch to pass inspection. The interior painting was so rushed that it took more time to fix the issues than if they would’ve just done a proper job the first or even second time. The exterior paint was the only thing done correctly the first time. My husband and I were ridiculously patient and flexible but it cost us money and we’re left with awful craftsmanship. The owner who I tried to speak to, just forwarded my message to the project manager who we’ve had several issues with and never attempted to address some major concerns. Bottomline- they treated our house like a flip and got offended when we spoke up about it. The project manager even accused my husband of “nitpicking”. Trust me, I have countless pictures to prove that we were in no way unreasonable. The whole experience was so much more stressful and upsetting than it should of been.

The price was very reasonable and the crews did an outstanding job. I never saw them cut corners or rest (except when they broke for lunch). They cleaned the job site each day and the men were pleasant. I was worried about the carpentry work, but it was clear that they knew what they were doing and that they took pride in their work. Hats off to Perfect Painters and More. FYI, this work was for the exterior of my 1926 wood frame home and would surely consider them for interior work.

Did a great job painting the bedroom.

We cannot properly express how pleased we are with the job Perfect Painters & More did at our home today! We had a job scheduled with another company a week ago and they never showed up and then said they'd reschedule, but didn't return my calls. We had a flooded basement and needed drywall and trim replaced before we could have new floors installed - floors that we'd ordered over a week ago and had to reschedule the installation on twice because the painters didn't show up. We finally decided to try a different company and found Perfect Painters & More on the internet. The Perfect Painters crew arrived on time, ready to work, got the job done in one day and were extremely hard working and professional and .... did an AMAZING job with our 3 projects. Thank you for working us into your schedule at the last minute. I have to admit that it's a little scary hiring someone from the internet that you don't know anything about, but Perfect Painters filled all our expectations, and more! Without a doubt, we will hire them again for our next project! Thanks again for a job VERY WELL DONE!

Gloria Petit-Clair

I had the opportunity to contract with Perfect Painters and More for two projects in 2018.The first project painting the exterior of my end unit townhome and replace/repair a few boards of siding. The work was completed on time. The second project was an extensive interior remodel. They turned my bedroom walk-in closet into a second bathroom with a tile stall shower, tile floor, toilet, vanity, medicine cabinets and grab rails in the shower and near the toilet and constructed a window. They also installed recessed lighting, wall lighting and ceiling fans in the bedrooms. They painted two bedrooms, the bathroom and replaced bifold closet doors and a hall door to the basement. My initial contact was with Ryan who understood my vision and developed a plan with a reasonable cost estimate. Michael and Andrew reviewed and implemented the plan.Lines of communication and responsibility were clearly outlined. There were inevitable changes to the schedule, but I was constantly updated on the changes. The crews arrived on time, introduced themselves, verified their assignment, did their work efficiently and always cleaned up for the day. The crews worked well together because of Michel's management. Special praise for the PP & More team that made me feel like part of their family! They were a blessing.

Update:11/14/18 , late, in the dark, some guy from this company showed up at my house with my leftover flooring...after blowing me off for 4 months, after the SUPPLIER sent me flooring because they blew him off too, after saying they would return it months ago and then ignoring me until I gave up, he shows up in the dark...said he called and left a message on my husband's cell phone earlier, maybe, whatever. Too late. Don't come to my house in the dark, Dude. We are not friends. And the flat paint they used where they were supposed to use eggshell (yes, I have all that in writing), where Ryan told me not to worry because they'd be happy to come back to "touch it up if it got scuffed" ? It looks awful. It's in a high-traffic entry, which is why I asked for eggshell to begin with. Promises, excuses, and then...:::crickets:::.Like I said, the painters were nice. The management not so much. Evidently hit-or-miss, maybe you'll get lucky. I didn't. Still time to sue for what it's going to cost me to get those rooms repainted and I just might. Really tired of being jerked around and misled. Used them twice...first time was bumpy but they pulled it out eventually. Gave another chance. Terrible communication, delayed project after start by more than a week, blamed everything but their own lack of professionalism and planning, took 2 boxes of leftover flooring I paid for and even after saying they would return it, they did not. The work of their subs is good. I can't say the same about the management of this company.

Let me begin by say how professional perfect painters are. They treated you with the utmost respect. They made the whole project relaxing. They took away all of the worries. Next the work was clean neat and professional. They did the work very quickly and neatly. I would definitely recommend them for you next project. Special thanks to Ryan Miguel and their teams.

We had one week to prepare for an open house showing. Perfect Painters knocked out two rooms with one room needing wall repair - no issues. The rooms were put back together in the same day - perfectly. Group also took care of a carpet stretching issue, a complex flooring transition (concrete base floor), and bathroom caulking. Very polite - very professional - most importantly, very skilled.

The paint job was excellent. The painter paid attention to details and was professional. The price was fair. I supplied my own paint because it was already mixed. They did the job quickly and cleaned up. I would highly recommend “perfect painters” and I would use them again.

Such great and fast service! I look forward having you all refurbish my bath and kitchen!

We could not be happier with the job performed. The team was flexible due to our ever changing schedule. Mike and team exceeded our expectations. They came "Thanksgiving week" and finished in time for us to host Thanksgiving at our home. We highly recommend them for timely honest service. We will be using them in the future. Thanks again.

We originally used Perfect Painters for shutters and front door painting. I was very surprised that two people showed up without the paint and not really knowing what they were to do. They left to get the paint and did the job in a timely manner, although the front door had areas that were not completely covered. We then contracted to have our carport painted (and the front door was to get another coat). Ryan assured us that the mold and peeling wood on the carport would be removed/prepped. Again, two people arrived without paint and with no idea of what they were to do. My husband discussed the need for the prep work and told them the scope of the job. After they returned with the paint, they began painting without any prep, painting right over peeling paint and mold. I went out and told them to stop and called the company and asked for a refund of my deposit, which was provided. If you want someone to come to your home who is well informed about the job that was sold to you, this is not the company for you. If you want something more than open the can and start painting, this is not the company for you.

Bogdan Hriscanu

They are good, fast and reliable.

Excellent customer service. Work was done in a very professional manner and completed ahead of schedule. I’m extremely satisfied with the quality of the painting done in my home. Work crew was polite, clean, professional, expert painters. Would recommend this company to anyone!!!

We used Perfect Painters back in June to paint multiple rooms in the house we had just purchased. They did such an excellent job that I wanted to be sure after we moved in And had settled, I still reviewed them. The team was amazing, clean, through and did the job in the anticipated time. They even were able to add items I didn’t realize I would want until we had closed. Perfect Painters flexibility, pricing, and results will make them our go to painters moving forward. I’m already thinking about having them comeback to do more!

I was told by my HOA to get my deck and fence stained within 2 weeks. I went on Angie’s list and put in an inquiry that I needed help. Within minutes Mike from Perfect Painters called and gave me a very fair quote on getting the project done. Within a week, he fit me in and had a very professional crew come to my house to do the job. The work was done above expectation. Very high quality, great service and a fair price. This is a great value. Perfect Painters’ biggest differentiator, in my opinion, is the customer service. They’re a great co.

Perfect Painters & More did an outstanding job on my home in Maryland. Being as though I live in Atlanta GA I needed a company i could trust. Michael who is the owner of the company was extremely easy to work with and i feel gave a fair price for all the work performed. They finished the job on schedule and on budget!! No surprises no extra charges at all!! I highly recommend them for any of painting needs.

Stacy Kidd

Did what they said they were going to do. Eduardo and Crew worked all day to get the job done. Job was done well. Cleaned up after themselves. Very respectful. Thank you! Highly recommend.

**( I have to add, 2 stars are gone from review, I had a few minor issues within months of the job, I contacted PP....got ZIPPO REPLY...NOT GOOD! Follow up is very important) I contracted Perfect Painters to stain my 3 tier deck. Upon closer inspection, it was obvious multiple boards needing replacing. This is not unusual given my deck is near 20 years old. They sent one of their best men to insure the job was done right. Tom explained what he saw and how he would go about the repair. He couldn't have been more diligent, thorough or professional in his approach. His attention to detail, I've never seen anything like it. Once Tom began, it was obvious the replacement was more extensive. I did not ask, nor worry about the cost, I knew they would be fair, and as important, the man they sent was a perfectionist. He advised I needed the underneath power cleaned, and once done we treated that with CWF. It was obvious that had been ignored by anyone else who ever did work for me. The finished product has brought the deck back to it's original beauty. I seldom leave reviews, this one was well earned. You must maintain your home, it's a huge investment, trusting Perfect Painters was a good move. Go their FB page to see some photos. Marc in Phoenix

We used perfect painters for painting and installing new carpeting in our house. I read the bad reviews and didnt think much of them but when the 1st crew came and started, all the problems others noted were happening to me. First crew doing our top floor didn't know they were doing the crown molding, painting my ceiling or painting our closets. Our salesman ryan told me to contact him if we had any problems, the minute the first crew shows up, we're having problems and ryan is no where to be found. Than as we start painting were noticing there way to many imperfections showing, turns out there was wallpaper originally on the wall which ryan failed to see all 3 times he came to our home. We were than told by Ryan they need to plaster the walls which is $500 per room, but how did he not notice that each time he was here and the painter noticed as soon as he saw it. We than move to the main floor and a new crew comes out. 2nd crew comes and is rushing through everything, mind you my house is over 12k square feet and they're trying to knock out the main floor in a day. Rushing led to the paint not looking good, paint drippings in many area and places like the stair handles having paint on them. We try telling them to take there time and prep right but they dont want to listen at all, so as they were leaving we told them not to come back. Than Andrew, the coordinator, steps in and tells me he dosent think he can meet our standards as to what we want and were promised by ryan, our salesman. He tells me everything I was told by ryan that could be fixed isnt going to happen, so basically we aren't going to get the service we paid for. The 3rd crew did a pretty good job, they had to come back and do touch ups, however andrew was real quick and helpful with getting them herd and getting the touch ups done. Than towards the end when final payment came, I was told by andrew that they wont be returning my deposit in full. We decided we weren't going to moving forward with the carpet and tiling due to the service shown so we canceled the remaining portions of the contract. They've apparently had clients say they were going to do everything they told them but than back out, but what does that have to do with me? I was going to do everything we had talked about but andrew and the painters made it very clear they weren't going to give the service ryan had promised. After negotiations they agreed to take the owed balance and not hold my deposit unfairly. One of the big problems with ryan is telling customers yes to everything, yes we can do this and that but when you dont have crews that can do these meticulous jobs that should be mentioned before you take someone's money and promise them all these things. Than you know the service you promised wasn't provided and you try to make this even worse and keep portions of my deposit, that's not cool at all. Once again I thank andrew for being really diligent through this, I think the financial part could've been handled more professionally but nonetheless, thanks. As for ryan you need to start being more honest and do a better job communicating, dont say yes to everything the customer says just to get the job. Overall this wasn't a good experience and I wouldn't recommend them.

My experience with Perfect Painters was excellent. Their professionalism, timeliness and price rate were in line with my expectations. I will definitely be utilizing their services in the near future and also referring them to family and friends.

They painted our house while were on vacation! Completely reliable, and fabulous painters! The best painters we have ever used, period. Their prices are amazing too.

My fiancé and I purchased a home in July of 2017. Prior to moving in our belongings, we decided to have the main and upper floors repainted. After speaking with three painting companies, we chose to go with Perfect Painters since they came highly recommended, were willing to do some drywall work, offered a reasonable price, and were very confident that they could execute some particularities of the job, given the architecture and age of our home. We emphasized that we wanted a durable paint that would make any cleaning or touch-ups easy to fix and discreet. At the time, not knowing much about paint lines, and at the representative’s recommendation, we decided to pay extra for Sherwin Williams Duration paint, and we agreed that the work would be completed by a 4-person team from the 12th through the 14th of July, as we had reserved a moving truck for the 15th. The crew that was sent to our home ended up being a group of friends and family members of one of their on-site team leaders, none of whom, apparently, had painting experience. When we checked-in after two days, we noted that the cans were labelled Promar, rather than Duration. The team leader assured us that it was, in fact, Duration paint, and we naively concluded that perhaps since the paint was purchased in bulk for contractor work, the Duration paint was just put in other cans. As of the 15th, they were only about two-thirds finished with the original job. We had to move all of our belongings into the center of a few rooms on the main floor and cover them with tarps. Furthermore, we were very disturbed to observe walls with the assigned colors written on in black pen that had apparently been covered in two coats of paint--although the pen was still visible, borders and edges that were done by hand and extremely wavy since the “painters” had used no tape anywhere, hardened drip lines in other places where paint was put on too thick and allowed to run and dry, and the wrong finish and color on some of our walls. There were also fast food bags and chicken wing containers with bones left around the house, clearly from days before. After a number of phone calls, we were finally able to speak to someone high up in the company. When he came to view the house he claimed to be in shock (he may well have been) and promised that he would send his “best” team to correct and finish the job. Since we were somewhat stuck between a rock and a hard place--our belongings sitting covered in the middle of poorly painted rooms while we stayed with family--we agreed to let them finish the job. In the end, we were barely satisfied but decided to move on with living in our new home. Over the course of the next year as we attempted to clean, repaint, and do minor repairs, we noted that the paint would not clean well by any means, that the leftover paint had very little longevity, even while stored properly, and that when we purchased new cans of Duration to match, the shade and finish did not match at all. After bringing this issue up with an employee at the local Sherwin Williams store, we were informed that all paint comes to the store pre-canned in one of three tones and that pigments are added in-store, therefore, there is no possible way that Duration paint would ever be put in a Promar can. Promar is a much cheaper paint, about half the price. In the end, we ended up paying double for a sub-par paint job, with little durability, and which took more than twice as long as expected.

I hired Perfect Painters & More to refinish my deck on 4/22/17. The work proposal stated that a full scrape and sand of all surfaces, as well as 2 full finish coats. The full scrape and sand was never completed, and the first coat was applied over the old flaking and peeling finish. At this point, our deck surface looks very uneven and I am sure that the finish will start peeling wherever the old finish was not removed. On top of that, communication has been almost nonexistent. I asked multiple times that they let me know before the painters show up. I was assured this would happen. Every time a painter has shown up, it was a surprise. Whenever I call the project manager, he is surprised that the work hasn't been completed. On 5/13/17, the company charged me for the full cost of the contract even though the work was not completed. On 5/19/17, they called asking me to pay even more. It is now 6/11/17, and the work is still not complete. Now when I call the project manager, he sounds upset that I am bothering him on a weekend, which I can understand. Unfortunately, with my work schedule, it is difficult for me to take time out of my work day to call him during their office hours.

Pam Greene

They were timely and worked efficiently. However I needed more paint selection input. My wood beems were painted with a color that bled through. I was told wait until they dry. They need repainting but no response from company to date. Help!

Tammy Price

I'm so pleased with the work they did for us. Our house looks like new. Fast and professional. I will definitely be using them in the future. Thanks so much. Couldn't be more pleased.

Stephen Vara

They did a great job at a reasonable price. Work pushed back due to rain, but they had good communication. Would hire them again.

Kalista Simpson

They are the best. The company is reasonable and very professional. They painted my home and refinished my wood floors (original 1960) with no fuss. I have and will continue to refer this company to anyone.

Terrence Hayes

Extremely professional business. Top-notch painters. The team ensures satisfaction is guaranteed. Best painters in the business. I would recommend these gentlemen to anyone seeking painting needs. Finished basement, master bedroom, and laundry room in less than eight hours.
