Jack and his workers did an exceptional job on our house. First, the work they did replacing shingles on one whole side of our house was careful and detail oriented. Nothing was overlooked. It turned out great. Second, the prep for the painting was likewise careful and exact; they even sanded some of the worse shingles in the back of our house to remove fungus. Jack helped me picked the paint color and trim and then they did a really perfect job of painting. We painted our house because it was very badly in need of it, but I didn’t expect that it would look so exceptionally good. It looks brand new! Jack and his workers were so helpful and personable. I will definitely use them again for future painting needs.

I hired Jack to do work for our condo association a couple of years ago. The work quality was fair. However, when there was a communication breakdown between the two of us, Jack verbally promised one thing and later refused to deliver. His communication was very unprofessional and rude.

I hired Jack's painting service and was first impressed by Jack's immediate attention to calling me to schedule an appointment. I was further impressed with him following up the same day of our appointment via text and phone call. That seems to be rare when dealing with contractors. I've taken days off from work only to have no contractor show up. After meeting with Jack I received a Written quote within 3 hours and by the next day at 8:00 a.m. sharp, crews showed up to set up for the project and start work for the day. The project took one full day from 8 to about 6:00 p.m. and in the end I had two Professionally painted rooms. The job was completed flawlessly! Exactly what I envisioned and my family could not be happier. I personally am very happy to put Jack's name in my phone book as my go to painter. I now have someone that I can simply send a text, meet him to discuss the project and I 100% feel comfortable with him coming to my house to complete the job on time and as described upfront. Very happy for this because I may not Have the money to fix up the house the way I like but buy simply putting a fresh coat of paint on a Room that didn't look so good before that now looks awesome makes me feel so happy. I would recomend Jack's Painting Service absolutely!!

I enthusiastically and unequivocally recommend Jack's Painting Service. I hired Jack to paint the interior of my Portland home. The job included a bit of wallpapering, repairs to a water-damaged ceiling, plus I had Jack refinish my kitchen cabinets. The painting process involved an impressive amount of prep work that resulted in an impeccable job. Jack and his crew were reliable, always cleaned and vacuumed the work areas, and were just an all-around pleasure to have around the house. I especially appreciated Jack's color sense and overall aesthetic. I live in a multi-level loft-like space that required some creative thinking to maintain flow while still distinguishing the various living spaces. Jack helped select all the paints and wallpaper, and his choices were always just right. If you get multiple bids, make sure to take a close look at how they describe the work. You'll see that Jack works with much more care and attention to detail, and while his bid might not be the lowest, he gives a difference in quality that's worth paying for.

Jack and his crew painted the front of our house in the fall of 2018. We were very satisfied with the work and Jack did a great job of getting the work done in spite of a tight deadline due to the onset of winter.
