I don’t know the person below but I have a huge doubt that what you are saying is true because I have been using Papas painting for years and have only had positive experiences. Also if you had followed the contract like you said you did, you wouldn’t have had a problem. I have had wonderful experiences with Trevor. He has done severial projects for my family and I will continue to use them. Thank you for being honest and always willing to come out to help me and my family.

I was speaking with Trevor from Papa’s painting today and he asked me to leave a review on here, I very rarely leave reviews, but when I saw the only bad reveiw on here, it made me so mad because papa’s painting has always done great work, when he was on thumbtack he had over 102 reveiws, that is where I first hired Trevor. All of his works are very professional and polite, they do excellent work, and I would be willing and have paid Trevor before and during jobs because I know that they will be done right. He finished my houses exterior last year and this year I had him do the inside, and once the weather changes and stays warm, I plan on him doing my deck as well. He writes a contract for every job, and it is always straight forward, and right on point of what they are going to do. The thing is, it says right in the contract that there may be some minor set backs and also that there will be touch up, and also that there might be some drips, that happens when you paint a house. I read the whole contract and I signed all of them, fully knowing. So, if you signed without reading the full contact it is your own fault. I really appreciate Trevor and his wife because they are always willing to come out and help me, it doesn’t matter if I call at the spare of the moment, he is right there when I need them. Thank you for your hard work, and I will be calling very soon for you to do my deck!

Overall I'm extremely upset with the service I got with this company. The work was extremely shotty done. They put a hole in my kitch floor in the process. Left all their trash and didnt lay down any kind of protection on my carpeted floors while they drywalled and laid sheetrock down in my basement. I had to buy my own shop vac because the owner Trevor refused to supply his employees with the equipment they need for the job. A worker came back for the third time to finishes up mistakes and to finalize items that were forgotten. They took of my door frame and didn't put it back on. They also left a pile of wood with nails out in my front yard along with bags of trash that I now have to pay to have removed. The owner is a jerk he made a worker quit the same day he came to the house to do the touch ups while he went on vacation. Stressing to the worker to get my check. WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN! Do not use this company!! You will regret it.

I have had a very poor experience with Papa's Painting and I am appalled to find so many five star reviews from names that, after some research, I can link back to Mr Templeton's personal social circle. Potential customers beware - a vast majority, if not all, of the positive reviews you see are faked by family friends or fake accounts. I've never written a Google review before, but this pushed me over the edge. My grandfather hired Papa's Painting off of Thumbtack - a website used to find contractors for different jobs - and was encouraged by how many good reviews he had on the website. Looking now, I can see that his account was removed from Thumbtack and I can only ask myself if his reviews on Thumbtack were as falsified as the reviews present here. Mr Templeton was friendly, but being friendly does not excuse poor workmanship or outright lies when it comes to his reviews. Mr Templeton was barely present on the job site and there was no clear supervisor to direct inquiries to, and when he was present, he did not take his time, was extraordinarily messy, and cared little for cleaning it up. His team was much the same, and the paint they used must've been old and spoiled because it smelled like a rotting corpse for a good while after the painting was finished. There were several spots on the ceiling that had been hit while they were painting the walls and nobody did anything about it, the lines on the ceiling and trim were very messy and uneven, I'm confident I could have painted better myself. It felt like they wanted to get the job done as soon as possible so that they could move onto the next one - which is understandable from a business perspective, but we paid thousands for this job and I expected for the painters to at least pretend to care about the quality of their work and the end product, and not for my grandfather's house to just be another job to "get done". I hired another team and they were quick to understand how quickly a group of amateurs can destroy your house, and they came out for a dramatic discount to fix Trevor's work as I did not want to take time from my schedule to work on it myself. Papa's Painting was loud, unprofessional, and messy. I'm very disappointed, and I will be certain to spread the word of Mr Templeton's misconduct. I interact with hundreds of different people living in our community for a living, and you can be certain that if the topic of painting ever comes up, I'll remind them to stay away from Papa's Painting

Quick to respond to my inquiry about getting a repair job done. A storm had ripped most of my siding off if my chimney. I talked to him Friday morning, he picked up the siding the same day. Then he made time to come do the job early Saturday morning. He did good, quick work. Very friendly and professional. I would definitely use this company again.

I hired Papa's painting to pressure wash, sand and restain my deck. I also had some railing repairs that Bob came out and took care of for me and he did a marvelous job. From the estimate to the end of the job Trevor took great care of me and my deck looks new again. I would definitely use them in the future for other projects. Great job!

I loved the work that Papa’s painting did, they were neat, clean and did it so fast, and it looks so pretty. I am going to have them paint the outside of my house as soon as the weather will allow. I loved how professional they were, they wrote a contract and sent it right away, we signed it and they started the next day. They did exactly what they said, they used drop cloths and taped off everything, it at first looked ruff, but after they were done, it looked brand new. I am so exacted about getting my house done. I would highly recommend them to other people. My friends are going to use them to paint their home as well.

I had water damage and needed drywall repaired in an addition to my house. Since the drywall had to be removed I asked to have insulation put behind the wall. I was cut a deal so I guess you get what you pay for. They put insulation in half the wall. The siding wasnt lined correctly so instead I have aluminum placed on the outside (so eventually I believe I have to redo the siding on my house) which just looks tacky and the paint job is patchy. I also didnt realize I had to get rid of the excess materials myself as they were layed out in the yard and a few of my towels were used and left on the ground (were removed from my dryer). I had to pay to get the excess flooring removed from my yard. **** This is an update on my review. The owners response was he has never heard of me but after I posted this review I received a phone call and a text and an email. I also have the emails from the estimates that were sent to me to sign as well as the paper copy. So if they have never heard of me how did they get my phone number.... Things that make you go hmmmm.*****

One 2 different occasions someone was supposed to come out and do the work but no show or call. Messages weren’t returned. I guess they had more important jobs than mine. If you want someone reliable then pick someone else!

Horrible service. Do not higher. We thought we were getting a great deal, but the painters dripped all over and missed spots. They were hired to paint the walls and got it all over the trim. We called several times to have them come out and fix it. They blocked my number, or just don't answer my number any more. The other 5 star reviewers have to be friends and family. DO NOT HIRE. Other company's prices are cheaper.

Papas painting did a great job on painting my house, they were neat and clean. There were some complication, but they were very swift to fix it and to come back. I have never seen a company that was so quick to come back and stayed until the job was done right. Last year they laid my hard wood floor and it still looks new. Great job you guys.

4 star work 2 star service. I hired them to tile my 900 sq ft downstairs. I was told 4 days with a three person crew. It took 4 weeks with mostly one person. The job was done correctly (mostly). One afternoon a carpenter was supposed to show up, but never did and I was never told he wouldn't make it. Now I'm having lots of issues with "grout haze" - something I didn't know about until after the job was done.

They did a exceptionally awesome job, my basement is amazing with custom made shelves, and two walls that look like marble, marble tile flooring. A finished full bathroom, with so much room. Two bedrooms, it is basically an entire house down there. Thank you papa’s, and all the wonderful workers that came and did an amazing job. They really did make it so beautiful. I would highly recommend this company.

I needed a small section of siding replaced on my house after we had some wind damage pulling the siding off. Papa’s was one of the first to contact me about a quote. After explaining the job, Trevor quickly gave me a price that was fair for what I needed. He was very polite and up front with the work. I had spoken to him late Sunday night and we signed a contract over Memorial Day. They were out on Tuesday and had the job done! Very impressed with fast turn around and the finished product. Will be highly recommending to others and will use on future projects if needed.

Responded within 30 minutes of posting on home advisors. Sent someone out the next day to repair some siding and trim work that had storm damage. They did good work and the job was completed that day. I will definitely keep Papas phone number for future jobs.

Scheduled time to receive a bid on some work needed in my garage. Needed two fairly large spots in the ceiling drywall repaired and the garage painted. Was told this was a two day job, the drywall "material" had to be dry before they could texture it. Was told they would move the stuff out of the garage, me being a single older woman.. the price quoted sounded great! Instead of doing it on 08/10 (Saturday) Trevor wanted to do it on Friday the 9th, of course I had to work because the plan was to do it on Saturday. Now about the service! I was told the Thursday before the scheduled work that I would need to remove all the stuff in the garage, which I did. The ceiling was patched with wood squares, there was a shoddy job done on the texturing. A few days later the texture separated and you can see the actual square piece of wood. There was no attempt to patch nail holes and such. The worker broke one of the legs off of the freezer as he moved it. The job was finished that day, no two days needed to do work of that quality. The one thing that topped this whole horrible experience was... the guy who did the work, took it upon himself to use my heavy orange extension cord. When he left, he took it with him. Trevor just insisted that this was not the case and he would replace. He didn't replace, when I spoke to him again he said he did find it and would return it... He said he just didn't want this to be a big deal...... That was in August, I have waited a LONG time as it is now 10/25 , not gonna happen. He said it was just such a long way from where he lives... really! SO, not only was the price WAY more than it should have been for the work done, (averaged about $100 an hour) he used and took something that wasn't his and has refused to return it. PLEASE BEWARE!!! DO NOT USE!
