I received a reasonable quote from Nate on my project but after multiple calls & text messages without any response I decided to go in another direction. The quote was given before Thanksgiving and we stated we didn’t want the project to start until the holiday season was over then we would be in touch beginning of the year. I understand your quotes are only valid for 30 days but I would find it hard to believe the price of paint fluctuates that much a week or two later. I still find it extremely unprofessional to block a phone number with a KY area code texting about a paint job and formerly addressing you in the text. At the end of the day calls were made, text messages were sent and someone else earned the $7,000 job.

It was definitely needing a new paint job, so it was a big project. Nate gave us a very reasonable estimate, and was very courteous, friendly, and professional during the entire time. He went over everything in detail ahead of time. He helped us sort through many paint colors originally- and then again when we changed our minds for the house and the deck. I think many painters would have been frustrated, but Nate was very patient. We heard many times from him and his crew, "We want you to be happy and make it look the way you want it to look". We can’t be happier with the work Nate and his crew performed in our house. It was a whole house interior repainting, which took over two weeks to complete, and the painters demonstrated great professionalism by carefully planning the work and meticulously executing it. The color change was a challenge, but they ensured even application by patiently applying multiple coats in the areas where an old paint could be seen through. Nate went out of his way to ensure high quality. He even went to Lowe’s to buy a special stippling brush to match the ceiling texture in one of the rooms that was damaged. Nate is very punctual in his communication. He responded to my emails and texts right away even during weekends. My husband and I carefully researched painting companies to stain our pergola that spans across a new deck in our backyard. Although we are DIYers ourselves, the scope and size of this job was daunting, and given the fact that composite decking was under the pergola we were nervous to do it ourselves and not drip stain everywhere! We reached out to numerous local companies and very few even returned our call. However the moment we reached out to Nate he immediately got back with us and began the conversation about what we were looking for. As the date approached for Nate and his team to be on site he actively communicated with us, came out to the house to quadruple check everything and gave us a clear understanding of what to expect while his crew was on site. The crew were friendly, professional and most importantly, meticulous in staining the pergola! As you can see from the photos this is a very detailed structure and it took a lot of time and attention to detail to get it stained. The crew stayed in constant communication with us, let us know if they were going to take a break, and made it clear when they would start and stop each day. They were easy to have around and were respectful of our space, our neighbors and even our dogs! We anticipate redoing the inside of our house within the next year and will absolutely reach out to Nate to talk about painting the interior. I hired Nate to paint approximately 2000 sq ft in my home last spring. I received 3 other paint quotes , 2 of which were MUCH higher. Nate was open to negotiation and we agreed to a reasonable rate. His team was timely, clean and courteous. They took time to move furniture and cover my hardwood flooring to prevent any potential paint damage. They did a good job painting and even graciously repainted a couple areas that I felt needed to be touched up. Great customer service! I hired amateurs to paint two rooms. It was a disaster: the paint would not dry, there were bumps where wallpaper paste had not been cleaned up, smears of the darker color on the ceiling white. I found Nate when I looked for local painters...and found that he had 5 stars on 85 reviews. He and his helpers were here for three days because of the damage and the finished product is beautiful. He is professional, he charges a very fair price, and he guarantees that he will keep working until you are 100% satisfied! Do not look further. The only problem is that I can’t give him 10 stars.

We had previously hired a "handyman" to paint our ceilings and fix some nail pops. He butchered our house and we had to fire him in the middle of the job. We called Nate for an estimate on fixing the mess of pilled on drywall covering our walls and horrible ceiling patches. When Nate came to give me an estimate, he graciously showed me how to wipe down the walls in order to help elimidate the massive amounts of dust in my house. Nate also moved things around in his schedule in order to get my house painted ASAP and back to living order. I have a staged paint job in my home and I got 3 or 4 bids for it. My first painter choice did an OK job but we had a lot of trouble getting the owner to willingly finish corrections to our liking and it became unnecessarily confrontational. I decided we would not call on him anymore. So we tried Nate on the second stage and we were very pleased. His crew kept everything clean and Nate took care of touchups (and those annoying nail pops) very nicely and willingly, very professional. My wife was pleased and prefers they come back for the bigger stage of painting instead of one of the other companies. Furthermore, they replaced the pictures on the wall when they finished and everything was dry. That was awesome, I've never had a painter do that. I strongly recommend Nate's Painting in Louisville.
