JR, I just wanted to thank you for painting our house. Both Steve and I are very happy with the final results. Hector and his crew were extremely professional and thorough. Hector communicated to us every step of the way. We have had some contractors complete work at our house and we were not happy with the results and especially with how they did not want to correct the issues we had with the work which was rather frustrating. Your company was exactly the opposite and we really appreciate it. We will definitely reference your company to our family and friends.

I would highly recommend JRS Painting! We had significant amount of wood rot on the front porch columns and around several of our windows. JR and crew did a fantastic job explaining the what caused the issues and then repairing the damaged areas. I would encourage anyone who is thinking of painting their house or who has wood rot issues to give JRS Painting a call first.

JRs Painting Company prepped and painted the exterior of one of our rental properties. The quote was outstanding and JR was very professional and helpful. Our renters also commented on how professional the crew was. One of the guys even helped our renter carry a mattress inside from her car. In the end the house looks amazing and due to the quality of prep work the job will last for many years.

Why bother - called and filled out a web from to get estimate. JR was out of town but did get back with me. Came to my house for an estimate and during this process communication was good in that he called when he was going to be late. JR was very personable and informative. Gave me a thorough estimate. Sent some questions on the bid via e-mail no response. Accepted the bid no response for over a week and when he did he said not taking on any more work saying he was sorry for not responding but was out of town. . I sent a response as to when.they would be taking on new work and got no response. JR is either in the middle of crisis or needs to come with variation in his excuses. Overall poor pre -sale customer service.

Update: It's been a year since our service, and unfortunately I can no longer recommend this painting company. 3 months after this job was completed, we found that we still had wood rot problems; the crew from JR had replaced the trim pieces, but didn't replace the wood rot underneath those pieces. About 6 months after, we noticed that a board they replaced were falling off and the seams between boards had reopened (see attached photo). Original post: JR is knowledgeable, timely, and easy to work with. I filled out the web form for an estimate on wood rot repair late one evening, and JR came out the next day for the estimate. It was immediately evident that he was very knowledgeable and passionate about his work. We spent about 30-45 minutes walking around the house as I showed him the sections needing replaced. He explained various factors that can contribute to wood rot, and how his crew addresses them. For instance, they work to ensure the fewest number of board seams in the sections they work on so that there are less openings for water to get in. He also assured us that they would find materials that match the look and finish of the rest of the house, something our budget painter didn't do. Finally, he explained how we could protect our fascia from rotting out by replacing the flaking paint, starting with a good oil based primer. I promptly received the formal estimate the next morning, which was easy to understand and clearly laid out. Signing to accept the offer was a no-brainer!

I would highly recommend Ernesto, Jeffrey and the rest of their crew. They treated my home like their own and dedicated themselves to doing the best job, not short-cutting to the fastest job. There was some unfortunate wood rot that could not be seen until they were in to the work. But they explained what they saw and next steps. They were polite, respectful and professional, as well as being highly skilled. I would hire them again in a heartbeat or recommend them. I have not had this level of service in a long, long time. So very refreshing!

The work that was completed by JR’s team was nothing short of amazing. I was even more impressed with the fact that they completed my whole house in 2 days! Another thing is that there were a couple touch ups that needed to happen that were not In the original contract quote that they threw in for free. Very impressed by the caliber of work, especially considering how horrible the paint job was when we moved into this house. Very friendly crew as well. I will most certainly go with JR’s painting again. You absolutely get what you pay for with this company in my opinion.
