Worst painting job ever. They are the painters that are used in our neighborhood and we had no choice but to use them on our new build. They only paint one coat and can’t paint rooms the wrong color. They don’t know how to tape. Got paint on the ceiling and missed millions of spots. It literally looks like someone with Parkinson’s painted our house. The outside is just as bad. Didn’t move grass against the house so now I have permanent grass growing on the house. All the paint is super thin and you can see right through it. Paid extra for them to paint our island and the did not prep the wood or filled any holes. We have runs on all of our doors and the bottom of our doors are ruined now. They stain our cabinets also but had no idea on how to do it. Applied too much stain to a couple of doors and didn’t wipe it off. Our cabinets are so uneven looking. I called Larry and he argues with us on the cabinets and won’t fix them. He finally took a couple of doors and returned them. They look the same. Worst company ever. Do not hire

Everyone at Johnson County Painting was a pleasure to work with and I enjoyed working with them. Everyone in my neighborhood has stopped to tell me how beautiful my house looks now! I really appreciate how Larry worked with me from the very beginning - explaining the process and what I should expect each day. It made me feel so comfortable when he was here early the first morning to make sure the crew knew what we had discussed and get them started. And he came at the end of each day to check that everything was correct. The crew was wonderful, too. Very willing to answer my questions and great clean up each evening. Great experience and I will definitely use them when I am ready to paint the interior! I highly recommend Johnson County Painting.

This company is top notch. Starting with our very first contact with Larry he was responsive and explained everything. He was very clear on his timeline and stuck to it. The guys he had working for him were AWESOME. They did a great job, answered our questions and were super friendly. We would recommend Larry and his company to all our family and friends and use him again if we ever need it! Great to find such a dependable honest contractor

In regards to the previous post by Steven Burrell, it is truly disappointing that they are not satisfied with their new home. We painted the house according to the specifications of the builder, including painting two bedrooms in the colors indicated on the decorator sheet provided by the builder. Steven reached out to me directly when the builder stopped taking his calls about numerous issues with the house. One of the kitchen cabinet doors was slightly darker than the others, and one slightly lighter. I told them I would stain a new door to replace the darker one if they were able to obtain, and took the lighter one and matched it to a sample door selected by them. I'm sorry they do not recognize our efforts to correct their cabinets, but wish them all the best in their new home.

I wouldn’t recommend this company to anyone! The pictures I posted are just a handful of the MANY examples of the lack of craftsmanship and blatant corner cutting that was done on our brand new home. I don’t normally write reviews, but felt compelled to do so. In hopes that this won’t happen to someone else. Whom ever painted our home clearly hasn’t had a lot of experience or they are just super lazy. We could have done a much better job ourselves, but thought since we were having “professionals” do it, the paint job would look professional. To say that we are disappointed would be an understatement. I will say that Larry did come out when he said he would, that’s the only reason they would get 1 star as far as I’m concerned. He didn’t rectify the situation, but at least he shows up when he says he will.
