Consider this a two-fer review, because Edwin and his team painted both my house and my mom's house this year. Ron came out and did the initial estimate on my house. I think he spent more time and put more care into examining the outside of my house than my home inspector did. He clearly knew a lot about the process and was able to answer detailed questions and help educate and guide me about things I really needed to do vs. things that would have been nice to do (and how much it would all cost!) The estimate documents they sent over were stellar. I've never had anyone else provide such detailed estimates before, or a copy of their insurance right off the bat/without me asking for it. It made me feel like they were giving me an honest price and not just eyeballing the house and making up numbers, and this level of communication/transparency carried through the rest of the process. I didn't get any other estimates, but my mom got three, and Home Pros was the lowest estimate she got by far. They got both of us on their schedule very quickly, which was great; I was expecting to have to wait months before someone could do the work. Home Pros ended up painting both part of the inside of my house (along a stairwell, where I wasn't comfortable putting a ladder), plus the outside of my house. The places inside that they painted look significantly better than the spots I painted myself; it turns out that there's a benefit in hiring an expert even for a "simple DIY project" (ha!) like painting. The outside looks great too. They were able to replace some rotten wood on both my house and my mom's house, and then do a complete exterior paint job. There are no streaks, runs, oversprays, or "oops" spots. My mom wasn't happy with how her door turned out originally, so they sent someone back out all the way to Eudora to make sure it was done the way she wanted it. The only (very small!) things I noticed were: (1) there was some debris/old flaky paint left from power washing, but I seriously don't know how anyone could be expected to clean paint flakes out of mulch, (2) there were a couple times they showed up later than I was told to expect them, but I'm sure it's hard to juggle inclement weather and schedules and a bunch of crews all over KC, and (3) it seems like some of my windows were painted shut, because I can't get them to open now. But anyway, I thought these guys were great, my mom thought these guys were great (and she has very high standards!), and the next time I have a big painting job, I really don't see the point in even asking anyone else.

Everyone I worked with was very quick to answer all of my questions, emails, calls, and when coming to the house, they were on time and professional. They painted our back deck and offered a few additional recommendations for future maintenance. We did have one post head that had a bit of the old color showing through, even after they completed the work, but Edwin fixed this as soon as he could. I would definitely recommend Home Pros to anyone else considering getting their deck painted/stained.

Home Pros is a great business to work with. I had some very specific wood rot work I needed done. It was not a large job and a lot of it was really high on my house. Most places I talked to were only interested in doing everything on the whole house as well as painting and did not want a smaller job. Home Pros had no problem taking on a smaller job. They gave me a very reasonable estimate, lower than others I could get to give me an estimate, and they even came back out to check the estimate a second time before the work started. Once the work was scheduled the crew arrived on time and did a quality job and did the work quickly. Would definitely recommend them and will likely use them again.

Home Pros called me to come look at a garage door opener keypad that they had damaged when they worked on someone's house. After making a trip there and diagnosing the problem he refused to pay, claiming that I should call it a free estimate. No Integrity whatsoever.

Home Pros just finished painting the entire exterior of my house, all the trim, window casings, gutters and downspouts, repaired wood rot, replaced damaged or missing shingles, hung new porch lamps and new painted house numbers. The house looks exquisite and they did an extraordinary job, the BEST ever since I've owned the house for 30 years! Even my neighbor came dashing over to say how much she loved what they had done! Made the process as easy as possible. Requested an estimate and received it the following day as well as the quote. Answered all of the questions/concerns we had and worked around our schedule. Total time from prepping the exterior of our house to completed project was 3 days. Would definitely use Home Pros again.

I was initially impressed by John who was sent out to do the estimate on my home. He was clean cut and professional looking and drove up in a nice clean car. No banged up pickup. He spent at least an hour inspecting my home and making recommendations. While he was there, another company drove up early in a beat up pickup and told me he was there to do an estimate. He did not appear very professional compared to John. Although John arrived first, they both completed their estimates at the same time and left. I got the estimate from Home Pros first and it listed everything out from the carpentry to the painting. It listed the materials and even had 3 grades of paint you could choose from. I got the other estimate which was higher. About 1,500 higher! It was also typed out, just as I an typing this out now and sent to me in an e-mail. (The other was a PDF file). It was hard to understand and I had to ask quedtions. Long story short, I hired Home Pros. Saul and his crew did a great job with the repairs and painting. They went around with me to touch up areas that may need more attention. They were careful to do a great job at clean up The owner Edwin came out about an hour later to make sure the job was done to my satisfaction. There was a problem with my storm door and Saul came back out and fixed the problem. I got the warranty which covers 5 years and they will come back in a years time to check to make sure I am satisfied with the job. I highly recommend this company and from 1 to 10, I give this company a 10!

I reached out to Home Pros KC earlier this year to install a wooden handrail at my In-Laws home in Olathe. They have an outdoor concrete staircase which goes from their driveway to their front door, and they often slipped going up and down. Needless to say, I wanted to get this taken care of for them without delay. HomePros came to my home to give me a quote for exterior painting with only one days' notice. They were prompt and professional and gave me a cost breakdown for each item they were doing, e.g., cleaning, repairing rotten wood, caulking et al. Work on my home began within two weeks -- other companies I received quotes from hedged a start date saying it could be as late as next spring. The HomePros estimate was the lowest of three I received. The workers were here promptly and were neat and careful with their work, as well as polite and respectful of my property. Everything was so professional from the bid process, to the crew to the finished product! The person who gave us our bid used a laser pointer measuring device to know exactly how much paint they'd need. We received a very detailed quote stating everything they would do with different price points for different paint costs and quality. We always get 3 bids and the pricing was very reasonable. This was for an interior paint job and we started out with some really banged-up walls and a previous poor paint job but Home Pros made it look like new! I'm very impressed!

I hired HomePros to repair some wood rot on my house. They replaced and painted some siding on my chimney and various trim around the house. They were the lowest bidder of three companies I contacted, and their prices were very reasonable, plus I had a coupon. After I got their bid, I delayed the scheduling of the work because of a vacation, but when I was ready to go ahead with the job they got me in the following week. The managers I met with were very professional, and the crew was courteous when I asked them questions. Even though mine was a small job, they treated me like an important customer. They worked two days at my house, and I'm very happy with the work they did. They were able to match the paint color almost exactly, so the difference between the old and new paint isn't even noticeable. I think the final inspection of the work was done prematurely, because the next day I noticed a line of caulk on my chimney that was never painted. I called HomePros and they sent someone out to do a touchup a couple days later. I would certainly call HomePros again for wood rot repair and will definitely call them for a bid when it comes time to paint my whole house again.

Never have I had an experience with a contractor go so smoothly. Thru the years I have used painters, roofers, plumbers, electricians, and handymen that have all disappointed me. Not Home Pros. They arrived when they said they would to do the estimate and emailed it to me promtly. It was very detailed and really left no questions on what they would be doing and the cost to do it. This made it very easy to remove and add services. The paint job was spectacular and was done in only 3 days. There was a job supervisor that was in charge of all the communication between me and the crew working on the house and he stayed in close contact with me thru the week. The owner even came on-site on several occasions to check on the progress. I simply cannot recommend this company enough. They were recommended to me by a friend who had used them and I will never use another painting company again.
