Derek and his crew were true professionals and great to work with! The work was exceptional and his crew was friendly and tidy. They even carried all their garbage out with them! Both Derek and his crew lead made it clear that pleasing us as customers was their #1 priority. They were neat and FAST! 2000 sqft painted in 2.5 days (which included priming and covering RED walls that took several coats), pricing was great and they treated all our furnishings with the utmost respect when they moved it for us and protected it with plastic sheeting. I could not be happier or more impressed with the experience and finished product. I will use DH Construction again and have already referred him to several of my family and friends! Derek and bob were great! They painted the exterior of our home and did it in a week. They took down our shutters and sprayed for the wasps in them. They even took down light fixtures I was just going to change out. They were very professional and nice people to work with. They were very accommodating and kind to our dogs. Would highly recommend them. They were the 7th people I had give us a quote and finally decided to do the project once they came over! The house looks amazing! Went from red brick to white and black shutters! All our neighbors have complimented on it!

Great experience with pro painters. I have a studio in loop area that I needed to paint. Javier stopped by and gave a quote first for the work. The price was good, so we agreed on the date to do the work. They finished everything in one day as promised, even though at some point by accident there was a malfunction with the elevator in my building and the painters were stuck in the elevator for 3 hours. They stayed late and still finished the job. Very happy with the work done. Will use them again for future paint jobs.

I had a porch and railings that needed to be painted within 24 hours or I was going to receive a citation from the city of Berwyn. Not only did Pro Painters finish the job on time, they also did a great job and with an affordable price. I was very impressed with how professionally the company was represented at our initial meeting. That was the one and only time that I experienced anything of a professional nature from this company. He and his crew were late everyday to the job. The first day they didn't show up until 3:00 p.m and then only stayed long enough to get paint colors. I was promised a full crew at 8: 00 the next morning. 2 people showed up and they didn't arrive until 10:30. Same for the next day except it was supposed to be 4 people at 7:00 a.m. 1 showed up at 7:30 and the rest did not arrive until 9:00-9:30. There was no prep work done by the crew. According to the bid prep work included: sanding, scraping, cleaning, puttying, minor drywall repair. They just painted over everything including hinges, anchor screws, a magnet stuck to the front door, when I asked them to fix something like the anchor screws they were taken out and puttied over but not sanded and then painted. Anything they fixed looked worse. They broke things in the house. They unplugged a refrigerator and left it unplugged and didn't say a thing. I found it later and all the food was warm. Instead of asking how to remove my NEST thermostat from the wall (It was part way out so they could paint) they just pulled it out. My electrician had to re-wire it so it could be mounted again. Of course , those concerns were not addressed and the l incur the cost to fix and replace. They did not prime the new Sheetrock and then proceeded to blame the person who did the Sheetrock because it didn't look correct. Derek told his painter "Next time let's sand (the Sheetrock) before we paint", and did nothing to fix it this time. The lead painter sprayed baseboards that were for another contractor and stacked them together painted side to painted side while they were still wet. When the flooring people came to install they were a total mess and couldn't finish their install. The fix just respray them. Derek came out and said that he would replace the baseboards. 15 minutes later I see them outside spackling the entire baseboard and I ask what was going on and he said see they looked good as new. They were not good as new they were damaged. He also told me that it was going to cost extra to have them come paint them after floor install. Not only were my baseboards damaged but now I got to pay extra for damaged baseboards. There was no final walk through which was part of his deal that you didn't pay until you were satisfied. He was right there to get paid in fact, he personally stop by my house to ensure payment. Within a 10 minute period I identified over 200 things that needed to be fixed without even looking closely. In the packet I was given with the bid Derek guaranteed a price match + 5% if there were a lower bid from another company. There was and I sent it to him he did not honor his guarantee. Every time I walk into the rooms that were painted it makes me sick to my stomach. Paint has ruined my remodel. I hired a professional because I wanted the paint job to match all the other high end parts of the remodel. If you are looking for a professional painter don't hire DH Construction.

Derek and team did a tremendous job with our ~1500 sqft home, it feels like a totally different place inside. Derek was incredibly professional. He took the job with no down payment, did the work while we were out of town on vacation, and stayed communicative and even sent some pictures for us to review. He was patient with my wife picking colors, and even sent a color consultant to our place to help us decide on the right colors for our project. We spotted a few very minor things to touch up after the walk through, and he sent someone out the next day, no questions asked. I will hands down hire DHC again for any future painting projects.
