It pains me to write a review like this but it must be done. We hired Christman Painting to do some work on our building and talk about getting the proverbial run around. First, we were quoted $1,100 for the work and when the painters got there we were then told it would be $1,300 (they had no clue why it wasn't $1,100). After they did the initial work they said we might want to get a second coat, it would cost a few hundred more but it will look better so we went with their advice for the second coat. So the painters put on the second coat of paint and everything looked great. A couple days later we got a $2,700 bill! How we went from $1,100 to $1,300 to $2,700 is beyond me. We called and spoke with a rep from Christman and they were "kind" enough to drop the bill down to $2,350, I say "kind" because the rep finished the call with, "we'll never do work for your company again!" Now I've been in sales and customer service for over a decade and I can say with 100% certainty that if I behaved in this manner I would be removed from my job immediately! It's unfortunate that a local business would treat their customers like this and refuse to rectify the situation appropriately, I highly recommend going with a different paint crew!

Christman Custom Painting painted my stairwell and foyer. We have 12 foot ceilings so it was a big job. They were outstanding. The workmanship was excellent and they cleaned everything up. I would definitely hire them again. They are very responsive and easy to work with.

I posted photos of the before and after for review. The yellow/green combo was the before (and I was glad to get rid of it) and the beige/grey tones were the new colors. I used Christman Custom in foyer of my home. It opens immediately to the 2nd story, and is difficult to reach without the right equipment, which I don't own. I heard about Christman on the radio and gave them a call. Dan personally came out the same day as my quote (for free...not sure why other reviews mention the quote costs anything) and gave me a fair quote for a foyer, hallway, ceiling with two coats and two different colors. VERY fair, actually. I didn't actually get the job done for 6 months, but as soon as I called Dan back, he was able to squeeze me in within a week of my new call. Admittedly, weather wasn't kind for an outdoor job they were already schedule for so it made scheduling me a bit easier, but I was thrilled to have the room painted so fast. I assumed they would be backlogged for weeks, if not months The crew came at 7am and began to set up and prep all the trim work. A few hours later, Dan came in, painted the "meat" of the walls, and explained he had to run to another quick job. After the paint had sufficient time to dry, Dan was back for his 2nd rolling coat. I was sincerely impressed with the speed, professionalism and skill the team had. Their paint job was great, they were thorough in cleaning up any potential mess they had, and were also very conscious of making sure they were always using blankets, covers etc to mitigate potential spills and drops. They were done with the entire 2 coats on everything by about 130PM which included their standard breaks and lunch. The younger crew were polite, seemed to get along quite well with each other and were funny. I work from home and they were also very cautious to be careful with noise if I was on the phone, and asked several times if I would like my office door shut so I wouldn't disturb them. Very thoughtful, and polite group painters. I would unquestionably use them again if the need arises.

Dan Christman came out to the house and did the estimate before I went to work which I appreciated. Got the estimates for the laundry room/ half bath painting ceiling and walls approximately 300 sq ft I picked out the paint from C E Lee - they were great. Dan called on Tuesday told me they would start on Thursday, I made sure the only things which remained on the walls were the items that were going back up on the walls. I got home there was paint on the floor paint on the washer paint on the woodwork the Workman played with the thermostat I had it set for 74 they changed it to 70 the air was on they washed their brushes out in the kitchen sink and left paint all over that. I called Dan who said he had a bad connection and couldn’t hear me well so I sent he pictures so he could see my dismay and he said that they would clean it up the kid showed up with one rag? He did clean up some but it wasn’t what I perceived a good job they don’t have any anchors to put the items back on the wall. He makes it sounded as though he would be there painting he’s not it’s a bunch on high school kids Not a $720 job Don’t get burned

We hired Christman Custom Painting to paint the interior of our home and then our condo, when we moved. The cost was a little higher but the team completed the whole job in one day. Every wall got 2 coats of paint. Great job! A few months later we noticed a crack in the plaster. Within a few days, Dan sent Vern out, who repaired and painted the crack without a charge. Great company! Would definitely recommend.

I had Christman Painting paint a bedroom and bathroom for me about a month ago. My experience was terrible. I was not going to write a review but after finding more issues and having to hire someone else to fix them , I felt I should. I left the painters at my house alone because my husband and I were working. I came home to find an absolute mess. There were several large paint blotches on my carpet and paint drippings on bed frame, bath vanity, and baseboards. The painters left buckets and supplies in my laundry room with water all over the sink area. Upon further inspection ,I have since found they did not bother to paint behind toilet and left old paint exposed around parts of ceiling and bath mirror. I took photos of everything and contacted Mr Christman who agreed to pay for my carpet cleaning . He said he found out what happened but did not give me specifics. He also offered to come back to clean but I declined since i felt trust an issue . I will not be using their services again.

I cannot say enough good things about Dan Christman Custom Painting! His company has done two (2) painting jobs for me at my home. He or a member of his team was able to do the work in a very timely manner. First time, I had a lot of painting to be done...individual rooms, open spaces, large areas going up stairs, etc. The results were amazing...know I am very picky. Dan is very accommodating and a PLEASURE to work with....very professional! The next time I need painting done, there is only one person/company I would call...Christman Custom Painting...you will be glad you did!
