Just had our exterior trim painted and are very pleased with the entire process. The owner, Gary came out and gave a quote. Very professional and well documented on his proposal as to the work to be completed. He also had his carpenters come out to replace some rotted boards. His painter Benjamin did the painting and he was very meticulous and thorough! When my husband and I commented on his work he said "I paint homes as if I was painting my own". Very pleased with his work and the efficiency in which he completed the exterior painting. Would recommend him completely. Communication with the office staff, Nancy & Rachel, was always very pleasant and they made every effort to email invoices and appointment times promptly.

Wonderful company from start to finish!! I just purchased a building from 1868 and it was neglected to say the least. American Painting brought it back to life! Beautiful Amazing Fantastic Painting and fixing all of the wood rot!! I am so very happy!! I love how it turned out! Thank you to your crew who took great care of my dream flower shop!!

DO NOT WORK WITH THIS COMPANY!!!!! The owner Gary was misleading about payment options. When getting estimates for a paint project I asked if I could pay with credit card and he told me yes, they take all forms of payment. Fast forward to completion and now he says I have to pay money order! Oh and he threatened to put a LIEN on my house if I don't pay the way he wants me to!!! I have more painting projects but will not be using this company. Edited to add: this could have all been avoided with a simple apology from him.

Wish I could give NO STARS. Painting was horrible - after my wife and I took a look at what was done, there was paint everywhere (very sloppy workmanship) and I have serious doubts he even did two coats as agreed to. Our Powder Room looks like a 9 year old tried to paint & repair where our mirror was. Painter was however great at using our bathrooms everyday and not cleaning up after himself there either (get the visual?) Wanted to charge extra for everything that should have been included in the estimate. DO NOT use this company they are scammers, lie and again want to charge extra for everything. Do yourself a favor as I should have done. Find someone else even if you pay a bit more. Remember, you get what you pay for......... Here is just a small example of their work -

I would give them 0 stars if i could. They keep rescheduling appointments. Everytime you call you have to leave a message and they call you back. You can never directly speak to someone. Worst company and customer service. This company needs to stop sending there ads and close down.

Very glad that we did not get the service done with them. Our experience with dealing with them was enough. The lady who answers the calls is a so called manager has no customer service skills. She does not know how to talk or use right words in customer service industry. You never hang up on your customers, haven't you learned those skills child? With your attitude you will lose on even those little contracts you get!

Amazing company! Full exterior and interior paint at our hone in Winfield. Carpenter completely redecked and re relied our deck also! One mid the few contractors we worked with who returned calls and showed up for estimates on time and as promised. Guys even worked on the deck redo for 12 hours in 90°+ heat to meet our time schedule. Very friendly and professional office staff and work crew! Would very highly recommend!

Buyer beware! Do not use this company, they are crooks! They will sell you a service and in less than 6 months I noticed peeling and chipping paint on my deck only to learn there was "no guarantee" for flat surfaces. But he took the money for the job like a thief in a robbery! I filed a grievance with the BBB and the shyster wouldn't even answer the complaint. Buyer beware!!!!! 3/17/17 - just received a call from Gary Bens on my cell phone and he told me to go "F" myself. I promptly hung up on him. This is a deranged person with a vendetta because of his shoddy business practice.

We had our exterior house painted 6 years ago and Gary was great, siding still looks fabulous and now getting a quote for the interior. He was always available for any changes or to update us on the progress. Really good follow through. Gives you a quote on site.
