Also, performed some minor repairs to make sure everything looked good. Would highly recommend Dave and his crew to anyone looking to have a paint project done the right way. My wife and I were looking to have our tub and tile replaced in our bathroom and were looking for a reputable business to do the job. My mother-in-law recommended DJ's Painting & Remodeling. DJ's had remodeled her fireplace and she was quite happy with it and her overall experience working with them. Since we were quite impressed with the way her fireplace looked, we decided to give DJ's a call. Dave was great and he worked with us through the whole process. He made sure that were were happy with the tub and tile we picked out. Once the project started, he checked in with us frequently to make sure everything was going smoothly and we were happy with the progress of the project. The guys he has working for him are top notch, hard workers and were great to deal with. Jake, who did most of the work on our bathroom was awesome. He was such a hard worker and so courteous, polite, and professional. Of course that could be said of all the guys who worked on our bathroom. And, his office staff are great to deal with! After the project was done, Dave came by one more time to check to see if everything met our approval, which it did. My wife and I like the fact that Dave genuinely cares about your project no matter how big or small it is and his employees will see to it that you are happy with the finished product. I am so pleased with our overall experience with DJ's and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to do any remodeling to your home or business. You will not be disappointed.

Not only does it look great, they went beyond what was contracted to have our sump pump replaced when it failed at the start of the project. Quality work, attention to detail, great customer service! When I decided I wanted to pursue a major kitchen renovation I began by searching out well reviewed contractor options online. I narrowed it down to three, and began meeting contractors and getting bids. Meeting with Dave from DJ's Painting and Remodeling, I immediately felt he listened to my needs, understood what I was aiming for, and could be trusted to do the job well. Now that my job is complete, I can assure you that my expectations were all met. When shopping for all of the finishes, Dave was a wealth of information about how durable products were, and what would work well together given my goals for the project. The workers were polite, cleaned up after themselves after the day, and answered my many questions. Someone from the office called every day work was done to see if everything went well and if I had any questions. I often asked what the plan was the next few days and was given the next few steps at that time. Dave stopped by often to check on everything and every concern was followed up on. I will say there were some hiccups along the way, as you would expect in any large project, but my concerns were always noted and they were addressed to my satisfaction. One of the reason I was drawn to looking at this company were the repeating reviews that they were on time and on budget. I, unfortunately, was niether on time or on budget, but I do not believe that DJ'S holds the primary responsibility for either of these things. The delay was due to plumbing issues we could not have known before hand, and my adding on to the amount of flooring we decided to replace. The budget overage was also due to those issues as well as my having more expensive tastes than I realized. If I had anything to say at all it would be that maybe the contracted budget was a little on the low side. However, I was always made aware of what my choices would cost over our contracted amount before signing off on them. Jake, an employee of DJ'S, was one of the main people to work at my house. He was polite, cleaned up, and knowledgably answered my questions. Yair also came often to work on drywall and paint. He also was very friendly, and kept me aware of what he was doing. In summary, I'm very pleased I worked with DJ'S on this kitchen remodel and would hire them again for both large and small projects. My kitchen ended up beautiful and everything I hoped it would be. You will not be disappointed with the process or the results of choosing this company.

A few weeks ago we had our kitchen/dining room painted and are completely pleased with the job. The painter removed old drapery hardware, patched and filled cracks and masked and covered everything. We expected it to be a two day job, but were pleased to have it done in one day. The clean up was great and will recommend and use DJ's in the future.

We are very pleased with the work completed by DJ's. We had a complete tear-off of old siding and gutters and replaced with new siding/gutters. We also had the old front porch and walk removed and a new one put in. DJ's provided excellent work and were great in following up at the end of each to make sure we were happy with the work. We had a plumbing leak that damaged our kitchen ceiling. DJ's had their people out the same day to stop the leak and the next day to tear out the damaged drywall and insulation. Once the ceiling was repaired it was completely undetectable! We had a guest ask if they had taken out all of the drywall instead of just the damaged area because they couldn't find any seams. DJ's also helped us work with our insurance company to make sure we got all the money that was coming to us. Definitely recommended!

It was a pleasure getting to know Dave and his team recently. Painted our home's exterior and stained some complicated decks (Brazilian Ipe). I have a fine attention to detail, so I wanted to make sure I found someone in town that could meet my expectations. I found that place in DJ's. His men are approachable, trustworthy and professional. The paint job came out nice and neat. Our property was treated with respect during the job (something a cross-town competitor failed to do a few years ago!). The staff on the phone, the salesperson and painter were all very nice to work with. The team and job was so great that I have asked them for another project.

We recently had DJ’s Painting and Remodeling paint the exterior of our home and give our kitchen a much needed facelift . In summary, we couldn’t be more pleased. The staff was always professional, courteous and on time. It was amazing to see how much daily progress was made. For the exterior painting, friends think our siding has been replaced, not painted. As far as the kitchen was concerned, it was cleaned up every day after they were done working, which allowed us the ability to still utilize most of it to cook meals, etc. Dave really took the time to listen to what we wanted for our kitchen, and was fantastic about selecting the perfect materials to compliment our vision. The best part is that we even came in under budget with no unexpected surprises. We can’t say enough nice things about DJ’s and will definitely utilize their services in the future.

My wife and I needed a major remodeling of our older home. We chose DJ's because of their reputation. We did our research and spoke with people here in the community familiar with their work quality, and DJ's is hands-down the most highly regarded remodel company in the community. I am so very thankful we made the decision to hire DJ's. It took a bit over 5 weeks to complete this major remodeling project. DJ's more than delivered what we had agreed to. They are very professional, and provided a highly detailed contract for us - everything in writing - that helped us to be clear on what we were getting done. This was so helpful in that there was no risk of a misunderstanding. The owner of the company, David Juarez, personally supervised the project. He worked with us to map out the scope of the project, helping us understand what they could provide to meet our needs. He is the consummate professional to work with. He's also just a nice guy who made this journey a lot less intimidating than it could have been... we always felt like he was personally invested in our project, wanting what was best for us. There were many staff/workers involved in the various areas of this project, and they were a joy to work with. We would be at the house a couple of times each day. The DJ staff workers would patiently explain everything they were doing so we felt 100% on top of things day-by-day. We deeply enjoyed getting to know a number of these employees and could feel that they deeply cared about doing the job right. These are just "good people" here. Honest people too. One of the workers worked so hard one day that we offered to buy him a meal (I know he didn't get to eat that day due to that day's work... he worked so hard that day). He politely told us that he could not accept any gratuity from us. We had no idea of this policy or we would not have offered. But think about that (I have a number of times), most workers would have taken the money that night and nobody would ever have known - but he was just an honest guy honoring the policy of the company. Pretty cool. One last thing. When the project was at an end, they had a cleaning lady spotlessly clean the home for us. Among many things done to the home, we had installed solid bamboo flooring throughout most of our home. This cleaning lady cleaned the home and we figured she'd done a great job and was done. But she wasn't satisfied yet. She said she wanted the new hardwood floors to shine, so she got down on her hands and knees and hand polished every floor in the entire home (I was amazed and so was my wife). When she was finished the home looked knock-your-socks-off amazing. I mean, who does that? Clearly this staff was totally invested in doing their best for us. I could go on and on, but the bottom-line is that this is one amazing remodeling company led by a great guy, David Juarez. Whenever we need future things done to the home - this is the guy I'm calling. LOL, I'm already thinking we need new windows :-) I hope this is helpful for anyone in the community considering a remodeling project. Take care and God bless. David and Molly Kistner

I started my experience with DJ's with just a quote on painting. That turned into three jobs due to the variety of services they offer. Two were painting (one was baseboard and stair rail) and the other was a sidewalk replacement. Dave was very informed on house issues and discussed options for correcting them - even when the items being discussed weren't one of the projects. We interacted with several in the business - painters, designers, and support staff as well as Dave. All were extremely professional, very helpful, and seemed genuinely concerned about my projects. The concrete guy for the sidewalk replacement was professional, courteous, and knowledgeable. He answered questions and provided good info to help me understand. The painters were very nice and engaged in conversation with us, greeting us and keeping us informed of progress and answering questions as needed. When paint color questions came up, they were on-the-spot there to take care of them - fixing what needed to be fixed and talking through options. Dave would stop by the work site frequently to ensure things were on track and progressing. Overall, a great experience. While not the cheapest, the quality and attention to detail were greatly appreciated.

OK. I read a lot of reviews about DJ's before calling. Despite the TON of positive reviews I had reservations. Not because of anything to do with DJ's, but because it was hard to believe these guys were this good. Well, they were better than advertised. Attention to detail, professionalism, friendliness, completely transparent regarding the entire process. I will not contract with anyone else in the future. We still sit and look at the walls (OK not like all day and night!!) and appreciate the workmanship.

We recently had DJ's repaint most of the interior of our house. We built about 6 years ago, and the builder used a flat paint that showed nearly every nick and smudge from touching it even in the slightest. They helped us pick out the kind of paint we needed, got the project done on time, and stayed in constant contact about their progress. We would highly recommend them to anyone!

Dave and his folks just installed a patio in my back yard. They stayed on budget and finished well within the tight timelines we had agreed to. His folks paid attention to every detail. He made sure I had a detailed account of all of the work and that every detail was worked out. This wasn't some big high dollar job but he made me feel like it was. He said to me, "I don't want you to like the work, I want you to LOVE the work!" I have to admit I love the patio. I am super picky and he made sure everything was just how I wanted it. I would suggest Dave and his folks for any home improvement work! They will be back doing more work soon.

We have used DJ's several times, requiring carpentry, electrical, plumbing and flooring work besides using them for painting and trim projects. Each project has been completed in a timely manner. Their workers arrive on schedule, work quickly and efficiently, clean up at the end of the day and the office calls later to make sure we are satisfied with their service and craftsmanship. We have contracted with DJ's for extensive outdoor work. Next month they will remove our fencing and in-ground pool and then grade and landscape the backyard. We expect that work to meet the same standards they have set for themselves. Everyone, including the office staff, are pleasant and helpful. This is a local business that operates with integrity and has the interest of the customer at heart.

Dj's painting did a good job on the painting, but gave me an inaccurate estimate, they wanted the whole payment before the job was done, and threatened to send me to collections then court if that did not happen. They guaranteed a settlement crack fix that couldn't be fixed, and wrecklessly got paint on our trim and flooring.

i very seldom post reviews, but felt compelled to do so after our most recent experience with DJ's. we have enlisted dave and his crew to help at our home for many years. all sizes of projects from small (like stuck/warped doors, insulation problems, etc) to larger more involved jobs. they have pressured washed for us, put on a new outdoor deck, (with revolutionary maintenance free decking), remodeled our kitchen, remodeled our master bathroom, did exterior painting, and painted the entire interior of our home.....much of the work was done while we were away. they are one of the very few people/companies that we will leave unattended in our home.....dave and cheryl have our door and alarm codes. they leave your home as clean or cleaner than they found it. they exemplify the golden rule. top to bottom they are a real pleasure to work with, honestly, a pleasure to call them. no......we are not related to them.....but it would be a honor.
