So disappointed after a successful experience last summer with CertaPro out of McHenry last summer, had a terrible experience recently. Started the process in early April to get our front porch stained, painted, and replacing rotted boards. We got the estimate and agreed to move forward. A man came out to power wash and almost did our back deck. Luckily, I was there to redirect him. He then power washed the porch and removed the rotted wood. Then nothing for 2weeks. I reached out and was told a paint rep would be out to look at project. Again, no word so I reached out again. I was then told that they could not complete project due to a finish in the deck.They provided a general referral which I called and similarly, got no response. So now here we are with a front porch that looks terrible as summer starts. Reached out one last time last week and still no response. So frustrated and disappointed!

I had some work done on my home earlier this year and had Jeff come out to provide an estimate. His price was fair and included all the materials needed for the project. We then worked with Amy who offered my wife and I some assistance on colors which was incredibly helpful. Kelly, who was in the office, gave us reminders of project dates and stopped by in person to oversee the project. My painting team was lead by Jorge whose team did a great job. They were very clean, very respectful, and kept us informed of progress. Overall, a great experience and would refer to everyone!

Everyone was on time from beginning to end! Nick gave us a fair quote and Kelly did the follow-up. Jorge Lopez and his crew were efficient and accurate (the cuts are great!) and the room looks perfect! We are very happy and we will call CertaPro again!

From the color consultation with Amy and the measurement/quote process with Jeff to the painting process with Jorge and his crew, this CertaPro experience exemplified professionalism. Our home looks crisp and welcoming, ready to list on the market. We've had many complements on the neutral colors that Amy helped us choose. All of the rooms were painted within a reasonable amount of time, and the crew's attention to cleanliness and detail was much appreciated, especially with new carpet. We also love knowing exactly how much each room will cost and believe that the pricing is fair for the quality work.

Jeff and Kelly were great to deal with. The process was a great experience from the scheduling of the estimate to the completion of the job. They are friendly, knowledgeable, patient, and honest. We even got a credit back for one coat of paint that wasn’t necessary - who does that in today’s world? I’d recommend them to anyone looking for a painter. Call them without hesitation if you are in need of a painter.

The crew patched some small cracks in the ceiling they were going to paint but when they finished joints were still noticeable and there were some they missed. Called them back to fix and most were still noticeable. Fairly clean but i wouldn't rehire them........

We had the exterior of our home stained a different color this year. CertaPro had a consultant meet with me about color and accent colors. The change in our homes appearance is so fresh and crisp. Their painters are very professional and paid attention to detail. I will have them back for other painting projects.

Great job and quick! Had stairwell, upstairs and downstairs hallways, kitchen and dining rooms painted. Trim and white doors look fantastic. Reasonably priced (had 8 estimates from painters). Kelly was so helpful with my crazy schedule. Joe, Gloria and Kevin are an amazing crew, awesome work and it was comfortable having them in the house for two days. I highly recommend Certapro McHenry!
