TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE! Write it in the contract and insist on a start date and finish date before you sign the contract! I waited two month to get a paint date. Kept trying to get them to call me back with a date and they never would. Finally, they set a date but messaged me two days before that they wouldn't be there for another week. Then, they called the day before that date and postponed another day. They had promised to send in a crew that would get the job knocked out in a few days. Most days, it was a single guy who showed up and it took him 2 WEEKS! Since they were painting doors, I went most of that two weeks without a door on any bedrooms, bathrooms, or closets.The painter did a good job and the Shewin-Williams paint they used was good quality paint. But next time I need painting done, I'll schedule it with someone who will set the start date and finish date PRIOR to my singing anything!

Would not recommend this company at all! Worst run around of scheduling, had us scheduled three different times, took off work only to get called the morning of to reschedule. Certa Pro contracted out our paint job to another company that we did not have a chance to review. We had several issues with the paint job. Had the owner/manager of Certa Pro (Dan) come and review the issues only to say that they would come out and finish the job and make the corrections, never showed, never responded. Very unprofessional and now we are stuck making the fixes. The worst feeling is that we had 4 other proposals and the only reason we went with Certa Pro is because a family member recommended them, however the company in Idaho changed ownership between the time they had their house painted and ours.

Craig of Certa Pro did an outstanding job of touching up and painting the interior walls of my home. I had a bad experience moving in new appliances and Certa Pro did a great job making the walls look new again!! Craig was very professional from the start, for a one man show it’s very impressive, from his prep work to painting skills, his talent really shows!! Not just anyone can paint, believe that. In the short period of time seven major walls were painted and look great, I couldn’t be happier. Thanks Certa Pro, this painter is highly recommended!!

I had stage 4 cancer we went to my son's batchlors condo. I was gonna clean up the condo before he came even though i suffered 2 broken hip and a pelvis break. Yeah he said he had a estimate for me after he looked at my cabinets. He said he would be here Monday. He never showed or called .He didn't think I had money. I did have Money I cashed in a 401k. Don't hire him....maybe if I used a different wig and wore a dress and acted like I was rich he would do it. Don't use him unless I'd you live in Indian hills. He didn't have the decency to call me Monday. So he wasted 2 of my days and never showed up or called. This man is not professional. He only had 3.2 stars I called the wrong man. But I am telling you guys he has to tell a life story about himself. .I don't know the man to tell me this stuff. It made me uncomfortable. It was creepy. That's why I waited till Monday for him to look at our cabinets.when my husband was home. Dobt use him he won't do work or show up.

We had estimates from five different painting contractors before deciding on going with Dan. We had delayed painting for two years because we couldn't decide on color. Within minutes, Dan's paint consultant had dialed in the colors for our house. The paint, materials, and workers were top notch. We asked the painter to do some detail work not really covered in the estimate and it was completed without charge. Our house looks fantastic and we couldn't be happier that we took our time and found the right painter.

Extremely disappointed in this company. He was fantastic at the estimate and then fell flat on his face. He informed us that the estimate would be sent that very evening, It took a day and a half if not more to get the estimate back. Then it took almost 2 months just to get a date scheduled and now another month to get them here to paint. The painters used were decent but as time goes by showed they were not up to par. They rinsed their paint buckets on our lawn and killed 3 spots in our grass. Then after inspecting the paint job, there are places where they clearly didn't scrape and old paint off (even where peeling) then painted right over it. They left thick globs of paint in many places. Yes some of that should have been cought in the final walk through but never having had our home painted before this, didn't know what to look for. The owner is hard to get ahold of and half the time the phone rings through to the national call center and I couldn't even talk to our local office (even during normal business hours) I would not recommend this company no matter how nice the owner is when you speak with him the first time.

Worst company to do business with. This company is nothing but a franchised pop-up in which they pull sub contractors (people with bare minimum experience) to paint your home. We had an extremely bad experience in getting them to start the job after we signed their contract. They showed up twice and found every excuse not do the job with th threat of rain of which there wasn't a cloud in sight. After breaking a few backyard ornaments and our hoseline, one of their "contractors" admitted to us that they were only told to "make an appearance" that day as they had other jobs to complete. There is no honesty with this company. None. Thank goodness we fired them and found someone else. Watch your back with this company. They may have "shiny commercials" but that's about it.

David Funk came to my business on April 9, 2019 to give me an estimate on painting the entire outside Of my building. It is now May 19 and I still do not have the estimate. I have called and emailed him numerous times. Also, called the general number for Certapro painter and the customer service rep Attempted to contact him and no answer. Customer service sent an email and left a voice message for him to contact me.

David came out to quote an (admittedly) complex touch up paint job. After a thorough walk through, he said his team could do it and to expect a quote. I would have just done it myself, but was 6 mo pregnant at the time. Two weeks and no returned calls or quote later, I called the main CertaPro number and was finally put back in touch with David who claimed there had been 'technical difficulties'. I should receive the quote shortly. Well, that was 8 months ago... and I've finally just gotten around to finishing it myself. Note to contractors: if you can't or don't want to do a job, please don't waste people's time and just say so up front.

WORST experience in my life! I wouldn't hire this company, which is franchised - owned by DAVID FUNCK. The paint/stain started chipping and flaking within 6 months. I have called "corporate office" and DAVID FUNCK 12 times! The only response was that corporate said they would contact DAVID FUNCK. I filed a small claims law suit and trial date is at the end of May. DO NOT HIRE! SCAM COMPANY!
