They reviewed my expectations to confirm they were prepared to complete the work as discussed in my quote. I just had the unfortunate experience of dealing with Rodriguez Painting. I just canceled the work I've had scheduled with them for months now. The process initially seemed simple. I had them come out to give me an estimate on 12/19/15. The estimator was Eligio. He promised me the estimate would be ready over the weekend and he would email me. Interestingly enough, I had to prompt him to go back to his car and get his tape measure as he began the estimate as he had begun "walking" the distance off. I never heard from Rodriquez again until February, even after multiple inquiries of my own. I should have cut and run, but they called back and were very apologetic and their price seemed reasonable so I scheduled a time in May 2016. This was a few months away, however, it was when I could be available as I travel often. During the wait, I received several calls inquiring whether or not I would like to move up the painting and on each call I replied no and reiterated that the date I had originally set was firm and not to call with requests to move up the date. My deck has paint on it already and is not suitable for any type of stain product. I was also looking for a complete color change and Rodriquez knew this, however, as the week of the painting arrived, they informed me they would be using Superdeck Stain. Once again, I said it is not possible to use Superdeck Stain from Sherwin Williams. You simply cannot use a stain product designed to soak into the wood when there is already a paint covering the wood. I did say that Superdeck did make a product called Superdeck Deck and Dock. It is an elastomer paint product best suited for my application. I even said I would pay for the difference in the cost of the paint which was $6.50 more per gallon. Rodriquez said they could do the job with this paint, however, it would require an upcharge of $1,000. Obviously, this was ridiculous. I'm so good I didn't use them. In my opinion, they are a company that preys on customers who don't do their research and wind up getting something that is not right for their situation. Their customer service was the worst I've experienced, and they were actively engaged in deceptive communication. Their own paint contractor, Sherwin Williams in Acworth told me that he would not recommend using Superdeck Solid Color Stain over a painted service as it would not soak into the wood. Yet, this is exactly what Rodriquez Painting intended to do. Once I called them on it, they up-charged the business away. I would not recommend using Rodriquez Painting under any circumstance. Normally, customers should have a reasonable expectation of getting what they pay for, however, with Rodriquez Painting, it is very likely you will not get what you paid for even though they are very good at making people think they will provide top quality work at a fair price. With Rodriquez Painting, it's all talk and zero walk. Avoid at all cost!

They ask customers to write good about them on social media etc and say that they would give you $200 but it’s a scam. They did not paint the top portion of my house just because their ladder couldn’t reach it they said they will come back and finish the job and demanded all of the money upfront but never showed up To finish the job

Definitely a bang for your buck. Called and received a quote. Carpentry work was pointed out on the estimate that needed attention. They also said my home needed re-caulking and no other estimates were as detailed as Rodriguez. Estimate Rep was able to point out everything he wrote on the estimate. The office was able to work with me on the pricing. The paint crew was professional and efficient. The 3 man crew did the job in 4 days considering my home is big. Got the job done around May and the house looks great. I referred them to my neighbors and they too will get their homes done. I just got my referral checks. Stop looking around.. this company will leave you a pleasant experience.

Rodriguez Painting, identified by their orange color, did a terrific job painting my house. I called and scheduled an appointment, they showed up on time, did an assessment of my house, talked me through what to expect, gave me a fair quote and a folder which contained a copy of their business certificate, insurance, references and a detailed estimate which included a description of the work that would be completed. We scheduled the date to paint. Noel was terrific and I was impressed with the crew of 3 who displayed amazing teamwork. They were polite, courteous and professional and worked very hard every day. In 3 days my house was done and it looked beautiful. I would highly recommend Rodriguez Painting.

Do not hire these painters. They are horrible! The customer service was the worst I've ever experienced. They treated our home and it's belongings like trash. They sent a team that did not speak enough English to communicate with us. When we tried to call the office over and over, they didn't answer their phone and don't return messages. Each night we went through what they had done for the day and made a long list of mistakes. They tried to cut corners on everything! They tried to get by with one coat on walls, taping around outlets instead of removing them, etc. Each morning we would try to tell them the problems and they would just shake their head yes. They got paint all over our driveway, wood floor and lawn. They were washing their brushes out on our lawn and it ruined part of it, even after we told them not to. We had to threaten to sue them to get any reaction from their office. They had to repaint and sand so much because it was done poorly the first time. They are hoping that you will give up and not make them do it right. They are connected with Gonzales painting. They are basically con men. Trying to pass themselves off as professional painters. Please don't hire these guys. They are terrible!! We were under so much stress trying to deal with them and are still working on getting everything done right.

I wish I could not leave a star at all. They came out in March 2016 and painted our home at the time it was nice and the crew they sent was pleasant. After a few months we needed some touch up, he can out and fixed it. Now a little over a year later the paint is fading and looks bad I started calling in August for them to come fix it. It is now Oct 11th and it is still not fixed. The office is full of reasons why they cant make it out, and Alex the assistant manager is no help. The painter they sent out says our home needs to be repainted and Alex says they will repaint my home for $690. They are refusing to honor their warranty. My next step will be contacting Sherwin Williams, the City of Doraville and the news. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!

The painters had trouble painting our sliding closet doors. Everytime they would paint the closet doors, they would fall outside. The doors got dirty and had to be repainted several times. They broke two of the doors in my house. There is paint all around the house on the floors and carpet. They were supposed to do all the trim in the house and they missed two sections. The company has no customer service. The experience with this company was atrocious.

They caught my eye quickly, of course with that bright orange sign propped in our neighbors yard. My husband and I are extremely busy people, so it was pleasant not having to put in much effort in keeping up with this project. they followed up often and surprisingly worked with my budget. Everything was done under our conditions and was done quickly. The guys were really kind and courteous when in my home. As well I'll say the painters had great chemistry, you could tell they were a group of hard working friends and were very fluid in their craft. We had our house painted last October and recently required some touch ups on my siding. The same guys came out shortly after we contacted the office. They were great then, and they still great now.

If I could give them zero stars I would. They violated the contract while painting, mismatched the colors, and painted things that shouldn't have been painted. The office staff was terrible to deal with. They never return phone calls and there is no continuity to the service. We were lied to about the whereabouts of the management and owners on multiple occasions. We literally had to refuse access to our house to get the job done...somewhat correctly. Now 6 months later, the paint is bubbling and peeling. We have been trying to get them out here for more than 3 months to fix it. We have had to contact a lawyer to get any response from them. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. It truly has been a terrible experience. Pay attention to the poor reviews...they all say the same thing.

I had friendly painters but unfortunately they started painting my house then decided to do a no show/no notify for more than 4 days. I contacted Rodriguez Painting after 2 days because my house was half finished in the front and was told they had no idea that work was not being done. I assume what happened is that the painters found another house to do on their "own" without going through Rodriguez Painting and worked on the other house (more profitable to the painters) instead of mine. I liked Rodriguez Painting price and how friendly the painters are but not the fact that I didn't even know if they ever would show up or when the next Rodriguez Painting crew would be available to finish the job.

Don't trust them with your house, time or money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They made soooo many promises which they did not keep. They truely under delivered on so many levels. What should have take 4 or 5 days has taken over 10 days and they are still not finished. they promised 4 or 5 painters on site. only 1 or 2 showed up and 3 days late. They use sub contractors and those sub contractors ended up using day labor workers who had no experience painting. The job they did was so bad it had to be redone. The whole experience was costly and time consuming. I regard using them. in the end we had to move back to Atlanta for 3 days to baby sit the workers to ensure they were on the job. The moment we left they were gone. They left us over 50 switch plates in a 5 gallon paint bucket which my real estate agent ended up putting on. They said the painters would come back to do it but again another lie. The have perfected the art of placating customers but doing absolutely. This company in ineffectual, incompetent and NOT TRUSTWORTHY!!!!!!!!!! Also as a side note no one speaks English so communicating with the painters on site is impossible. They office staff just yes you off the phone and nothing gets done.... AWFUL EXPERIENCE YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

Rodriguez painting painted my house 7 years ago and did a great job. I decided to use them again for this reason and it was not good this time. They had the best of 3 estimates (Eligio was the estimator) for exterior painting and siding replacement. I scheduled the work for 3 weeks out and they called me every Friday to try to push it up. They (2 guys) pressure washed Saturday and returned Monday to begin replacing the siding and prepping the house. They did all the paint except for the trim by Tuesday. They did not show up on Wednesday nor did anyone call. I called and spoke to Joel and Mohammed and they said they were on the way at noon on Wednesday. They never showed up but did call me at 4 pm and said the truck broke down. I called the company again and they said they were never told that. On Thursday they finished the house and when I got home they were ready for me to sign and pay. As I walked the house I pointed out over 20 issues from paint on the roof to wood not being replaced as promised. I told them what was wrong and they said call the company. I did and spoke to Mohammed several times. I finally told him to tell the painters to leave as I was done with the back and forth as to what needed to be done. The owners son should up on Friday so we went over all the issues. He said they would take care of it. I got a phone call from Mohammed that night saying the painters would be back on Monday to finish the job for $675 more. I told him no way and I would not being paying them until it was done correctly as promised. The painters showed up and fixed just about everything except for the damage to the gutters and the paint on the windows. The main painter Roberto was not happy that they had to come back and spend the entire day fixing and finishing up. I found out that the painters are contracted out for a certain amount per house so they are in a hurry. They do not listen to the company when they tell them to do something. I will never use Rodriguez painting again.

Poor follow up. They scheduled twice, showed up once and NEVER sent the estimate. Okay... so you people missed the FIRST time because a truck broke down. YOU apologized and said I would get 10% off, which never occurred. I only scheduled one estimate with Rodriguez Painting, I have gotten estimates from other companies. If y'all own 2 companies with different names I would have no way of knowing this.

Process was super smooth from the very beginning when scheduling the appointment. The quote guy-Carlos was early and checked in with us to see if it was okay to go ahead and come. He was very knowledgeable regarding types of paint and also with carpentry. He guided us in what siding needed to be replace and wood on one of our doors. We thought it would be more but he said those areas was not necessary so that made us feel that he was honest and not just wanted our money. We got two other quotes but didn't receive the same attention and great customer service we got from Rodriguez Painting. This is also why we decided to go with them. We scheduled and when the painters arrived, they were very professional and friendly. They did a PHENOMENAL job and answered any questions we had. Our lead painter was Edgar. I highly recommend this company and would definitely use them again!

Not very good. Estimator was late by an hour with no phone call, under estimated the job, painter did a poor job. Had to haggle with the company. Finally sent their best painter out and he got it fixed. Took over a week to paint my 3300sq ft home. However after Ramon showed up and got it squared away it looks good and he finished in a timely fashion. If you use them make sure they aren’t using a sub contractor. In response to Rodriguez’s response: A phone call from the estimator would of been nice and he did underestimate the job and tried to charge me more after the fact. It did in fact take a week for the painters to finish and there was no rain. The first guy took 3 days, quit and then the second guy had to come and it took him 2 days. That’s a week. Yes I did pay because I was satisfied after Ramon came and fixed it. The first painter said he was a sub contractor.

Don't hire them. I have been trying for a month and half to get them to complete a job for which I paid $2490.00. Lots of excuses. Zero action. Update on 8/24. STILL trying to get them to complete the work. Original work was done in the middle of April, so now 4 1/2 motnhs have passed. Their contract said touchups are completed within 90 days. I'm assuming they are using the Gregorian calendar. Maybe not.

I used Rodriguez Painting to paint my home a few weeks ago. I must say the price was very reasonable and for the most part a good job was done. The staff in the office was courteous and helpful; however I never even spoke with the estimator Anthony and the two gentlemen that completed the work did a horrible job as far the clean up. They left paint spots on the back patio and rotten wood all over the yard from the repairs. There was a portion under the back door that they did not paint. One of the gentlemen even stated he had to get back to the office so he could get paid and if he wanted any longer he would have to get paid on Monday. He left and I called the office and complained and the office did send him back out to complete the job. I also was told all the paint would be included in the price however the painter used my old paint I had in the garage and tried to say he had purchased another paint and when I asked for the old paint and called the manager that is when he fessed up. He said he could not find the color I had and I am fine with that by then say that at first. He later offered to go and buy me a can of paint. He never even asked me a color that I would prefer. I just asked that he leave. I do have some interior painting that is needed and I would use them again but would request they not send out the original two painters I had. I did recommend them to my neighbor as well,

From the very start I was more then pleased with the company . The workers were able to answer all of my questions patiently and were able to work with my schedule on getting an estimator sent out to my house. Once the estimator came out. He gave me a quote and the price was lower then most other estimates I received. The company also did a great job on following back up with me , and setting up the projects. Once the painters showed up we did a walk through , and they started the project. They were very professional and with no hesitation I will be contacting them to do my interior painting . Very professional workers , they are trust worthy, and very patient with their clients. loved that they also had a 3 year warranty and to my surprise they asked for no money up front , but either way the job completed was more then satisfactory.

The company lists great offers on their business card but shared that they have a $1000 min. then said "are you okay paying that".... seems like a logically thing to place on your business card so people won't waste their time. Great way to get a over priced quote. If you job is $1000 be aware that you may get it done for a much better price elsewhere.

DO NOT USE RODRIGUEZ PAINTING! Their contractor seriously damaged a piece of furniture. The painter removed an AirWick hot oil plug-in when removing electrical wallplates and placed it upside down on top of my fine wood cherry dresser. Then when they put the furniture back in place and left for they day, they failed to tell me about it. I was very upset upon finding the damage a bit later when I dusted/waxed. Now their customer support is telling me the painter will try and fix it! No way will I allow a painter to fix what requires a skilled wood restoration specialist. RODRIGUEZ PAINTING is avoiding contact after I advised them a wood restoration specialist is coming out for estimate to repair the dresser their employee damaged. This should be covered by their advertised liability insurance. Which leaves me to wonder if they really have liability insurance coverage to begin with!! DO NOT USE RODRIGUEZ PAINTING!

We hired Rodriguez Painting to stain our deck and our fence. Was quoted one thing that said for 2 coats of paint but when the painters came out there they said only one coat of paint. First painter came out for the fence and refused to paint it because the paper work said only one coat of paint and he said it needed two but they wanted to charge us $625 more dollars to put the two coats on. But this painter tells us if we just give him the cash and tell the company we don't want the work done he will do it without the extra $625 charge. No thank you! The deck was poorly pressure washed the first time. We called them back out to pressure wash again. They painted over leaves and debris on the fence which we had to point out to them and have them fix. They missed spots on the deck which we had to call them back out to fix. The paint is already peeling on our deck and I've sent numerous emails and pictures and the issue still hasn't been fixed. They have the best prices when comparing quotes, but pay the extra money and get a professional job done the first time.

We had a very positive experience with Rodriguez Painting. We had used them in 2005 and were very pleased with their work, so we hired them again this year. We had extensive carpentry repairs, chimney repairs and a complete exterior paint job. The repairs were very well done. They were on time, very polite and were finished in four days. Mr. Fransisco came out to do the estimate on our house. He walked around the house with me a few times making sure that the estimate would cover everything that we wanted done. All in all, I couldn't be happier with him. When dealing with the office staff to schedule a painting crew to come out it became much more difficult. It's ALWAYS noisy in the background and hard to understand the ladies of the office. There's also one lady who speaks with a very heavy accent that's hard to understand. The office manager was dismissive of my concerns and the least helpful person I dealt with in the company. We had Mr. Miguel leading our painting crew. He's very soft spoken but excellent at his job! He did everything possible to make sure we were happy with his work. At first I was aghast at the process but when left to do his thing the finished product looked excellent. When he was done we walked around the house and I pointed out two very minor little spots where paint had gotten where it shouldn't and he had those fixed right away. If I had not had to deal with the office my experience with this company would be excellent. If you have any issues with them while they're working with your home just let the painters know and they're happy to fix them. They want you to be happy with their work. Leave the office people to continue pushing their papers because they're not going to be helpful but the work crew is fantastic.

Francisco came out for the estimate. He gave a thorough listing of what wood would need to be replaced and how long the job would last. The painters arrived when the temperatures were around freezing but used heaters to keep the paint warm while it was being applied. Some of the windows had paint leakage around the tape which I had to scrape off and clean up left some wood scraps and tape around the house. Overall the paint job is greatand I would recommend them.

We just finished having the outside of our home painted. Great experience with the company. The painting looks wonderful. They addressed woodwork and caulking around the exterior of the house. The price couldn't be beat.

I had scheduled a time for an estimate. The person called and asked if he could come earlier. I was working and couldn't change the time. Someone from the main office then called and said since I wanted to reschedule it later they would have to reschedule another day. I didn't ask to reschedule it. She then said since I wanted to do it at 6:00 instead of 5:00 they had to reschedule. I did not ask to change it. Obviously there is a break down between the estimator and main office.

I hope this helps if you are looking for good painters! I was very sceptical when considering this company due to the reviews I've read but I'm happy to say that my house was painted beautifully. The office was very helpful and the estimater was able to answer all of my questions. Rodriguez was one of the highest bids I received but there wasn't anyone else that had a more detailed quote or with such a professional staff. The crew they sent out to my home didn't have the best English, but there was no language barrier as mentioned in some reviews. The office was able to help out as well if there was something I didn't understand. I have to say Rodriguez Painting is definitely one of the easiest and most professional companies I've ever worked with. I will definitely refer them to anyone reading this. Again I hope this helps!

I typically never like to leave reviews, but I am super dissatisfied with the customer service and quality of work. Like a previous post stated I used them years ago and they did an amazing job, so I called them back. They were supposed to start the work this coming Friday, but called to move up the date. They scheduled me for July 30th, but no one ever showed nor did they call. I called the office twice knowing they were closed and left messages informing them, I never heard from them. They showed up Monday no apologies, no explanation. Started the work, but since then it has been issue after issue. There are paint drops all over my hardwood floors and today paint on my carpet. I called Monday and all I got is "we will call and talk to them", they apologize profusely but there is no action. Today I called and asked for a supervisor, but Mohammed responded please email pictures and we will see what we could do. For what they are charging to do 3 rooms and the house trim, I feel the quality of work should be better. We also asked for a satin based paint because we have young kids that have written on our walls and they painted flat. I am just disappointed and would not recommend, which I had in the past. The sad part is they do not respond and still expect the same pay.

BE VERY AWARE!!! Do not invite Rodriguez Painting to your home!! This company hires contractors and day laborers who perform very shoddy work. The 3 year warranty they dole out upon completion (of which I held just under 1 year before the paint started to chip, crack, and crumble) is hardly worth the paper upon which they print it. For 5 months now, I've tried (with no success) to get them to honor it; speaking especially with their so called manager (Mohammed). The excuses are PLENTY!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. They gave me the best quote (by far) but were difficult to contact to start the job. They made commitments to start the project and then didn't show up, no communication from their office. If not for the low price, I would have taken my business elsewhere. Once they finally showed up, they did a decent job, although they damaged the wood trim when pressure washing, then painted over the damaged wood rather than sanding it first. I missed it when inspecting the work, now they won't respond to my requests to come back to fix it. So much for a one-year warranty. If you don't value customer service, go with Rodriguez.

Our job started 7.16.19 and it was a nightmare from the beginning till the end on 7.22.19. Although the house looks good from the street, upon closer inspection there were many details that were ignored in order to cut cost and shorten the job. It took serious heavy coaching and supervision every day on my part to get them to do the little bit that they did accomplish, to the point that I had to have my brother fly home to SHOW THEM HOW TO PATCH THE STUCCO PROPERLY because they wanted to use caulking EVERYWHERE. It looked like 2 year old was trying to prep and paint. Attention to detail in the contract and on the house was not evident (tried to short me on 14 gallons of paint), respect for the customer was not evident (calling me names and talking about me in Spanish, but I speak Spanish so I know what was being said), pride in their work was not evident (improper cuts and corners on the PVC window frame and seals/halfway painting behind bushes etc.), honoring the details of their contract was not evident (refused to reglaze the palladium window), sheisty and shoddy business practices were VERY apparent. Even the estimator was arrogant, condescending, and rude when dealing with my brother and myself. I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE. EVER.

Painted our house late last summer.A couple weeks later called to see if they would do a little touch up as promised. Always an excuse,weather bad,no crew available etc.Have called many times,now not even courtesy of calling us back. On another note wife opened some of the trim paint left over to re-paint a flower box,paint so thin it took 3 coats,draw your own conclusion. If you use them make sure you are satisfied when they leave,you may never see them again.

Our experience this time (July, 2016) was terrible and completely unprofessional. We had used them 6 years ago and we were happy. Not this time!!! We received an estimate from them and scheduled to have our exterior house and 2 interior rooms painted. They were supposed to start because we had a date we needed it finished by. Twice, the painter called saying he had car issues. The third time, he finally came out to get started and had me sign the contract. He never started and then when I asked if he was going to start he told me yes, but then disappeared. I called Rodriguez Painting to see where he had gone and after an entire day, the manager, Mohammed, called me and said their estimator had made a mistake and they needed to raise their price by $690- after I had signed the contract!!! The work did not get done by the time they had promised, and they used my paint from 6 years ago rather than buy new paint when I brought it for them to get codes to match color. They never gave me the $100 check that was promised me when I had booked them since my neighbor booked at the same time. They do not return phone calls, emails, etc. Completely unprofessional company that went downhill over the past 6 years.

We were very unhappy with our interior painting. Flat paint was used over semi-gloss. When it did not cover, it took 2 months to come back out for another coat. Our carpet, tile, counters, shower, trim and mirror were left covered with paint drops and spray that is not coming off. When I contacted them I received not response or support. Their customer service is non exinsistant and quality of work atrocious. I would not recommend their service.

We hired Rodriquez painting in November, 2016 to paint our home. We asked them to inspect the exterior to replace any bad siding, pressure wash and prep, then paint the exterior. We had two estimates from them. One was for the bad wood replacement and the other was for the painting. That is what we wanted. When they finished, we signed that everything looked good. It was fresh paint and it did look OK. In February, we noticed that the paint is peeling off the sides, a lot. There are a lot of nails that are turning orange with rust and the house looks terrible. It has been several weeks since we initially called to have someone come out. It is very hard to find anyone in their customer service who will say anything except "someone will call you back." But they don't. Finally, after many calls, I was told just yesterday, the warranty does not apply. We had bad wood. What??? Yes, even though we paid them to inspect the siding and replace any bad siding, they say it is not covered. They will come out and do another inspection, replace the wood and repaint- but we must pay again for all of the work. We have now paid for a BIG MESS. And they do not waiver in what they say.."sorry, the paint is fine-your wood is bad. It is not covered." It is like a recording...maybe they have had to say this to so many people that it virtually is. They will come out and repaint the nails. That is all. Unless you want to pay people who do not stand behind their work ...hire someone else.

Rodriguez painting did my house about a month ago, unfortunately!!! He underpaying his workers, so the workers uncurtous, negligent, ignorant and rude! The company barely pressure wash the house. Before the paint, they don't prepare the surface, which is more important than the paint. He puts on a very thin coat, barely cover. They lie about everything they promise. They sent me clean gutter pictures of my roof, but when I climbed up on the ladder they were completely full with dirt! Then when I asked why, he pretended he don't understand me!!!
