My house was in DESPERATE need of new siding and gutters. I received several quotes and while Painting Plus was the lowest quote that is not the reason I chose them for the job. Anthony’s customer service was topnotch from the first day we met to the last day of the project. Anthony is very knowledgeable and went above and beyond to ensure my husband I were 100% satisfied. Anthony actually picked the color of my gutters based on the paint colors we selected for the siding. The siding crew had my old siding off and the new siding up within a week. I was out of town at the time and when I arrived home it was like pulling into a new house even though the siding had not yet been painted. The painting crew was quick yet thorough and very hard working. The gutter crew was done in no time and the gutters look great. Trust me, find another company it’s not worth the hassle. We had work done in the summer of 2017. We spent around $14,000 (the initial estimate $27,000) for our house to be painted, new entry door and new gutters. When the sales rep comes out, he is friendly, knowledgeable and professional. They make promises & guarantees that they do not fulfill once you have signed the contract. After we paid, we never dealt with the sales rep again. There are quite a few problems I could discuss from the beginning however for the sake of not having a long drawn out review, I will stick to key points. First, the entry door w/ new wood frame (est. $3600) is poorly installed. Six months after the job, I called because we had to lift the door up to close it. Also, it wasn’t syncing with the lock. It took 2 months for them to finally get someone to come out to fix it. Last week Home Depot came out to look at our windows. The guy showed me areas on the door that are not sealed properly. Wood has come up because they did not use screws. It’s coming up on 2 years and the paint is coming off the front door & the “new” frame is coming apart. I called and haven’t received a call yet. Which I’m seeing is a trend with this company. Next issue, gutters. We had new gutters installed. They were SUPPOSED to have gutter covers. The sales rep, Chad sat at our dining room table and discussed things that were important to us. My husband told a story of him having to clean gutters with his father as a teen (not fun). My husband clearly told him that we wanted gutter covers and he didn’t want to deal with having them cleaned. Fast forward to this past April. The gutter over our garage is not working properly. I call because we have covers and this should be happening. It is takes 6 weeks of calling, sending me to different people until finally I reach one of the owners. He tells me I don’t have covers. I assure him we do because that was one of our “must haves” while getting this work completed. He finally sends someone out and we don’t have covers

Based on this & their excellent reviews online, I chose them for the work, and I'm very glad I did. I lucked out when the project scheduled for the week following my decision was postponed, and they were able to get started on my home right away. They were done in less than a week, which was very impressive. They also kept me up to date on progress or any issues. I'm not an expert in siding or painting, but I have gone through this before, and I feel the quality of the work was very good. Charlie was recommended to me by my agent to repaint my entire house interior after purchasing a beautiful home in desperate need of an upgrade. Knowing I was worried given the large scope of the project, Charlie went above and beyond to ensure that I was comfortable with the paint colors before moving forward, working with multiple samples and clearly talking through the different paint types and why he was using them for different areas in the house (why trim and shutters should use one type versus the kitchen island versus the walls, etc). He committed to a timeline and stuck to it. He made a fantastic recommendation for our floors and a flooring company that did a wonderful job. Most importantly, he was always present— available for phone calls and regularly coming on-site not only to monitor and assess his crew's progress but also to get his hands dirty himself- a very rare quality indeed. Since he worked closely with the flooring company and electric company, he ensured a smooth flow of scheduling and even sent his team back to do shoe molding and floorboards after the floors were done as he knew they would require additional attention after ripping up the floors. The paint job is absolutely stunning— it looks like a completely different house and I’m really pleased with the results. Since then, I’ve expanded my projects with Charlie to include painting my garage, power-washing and staining my barn and brush-cutting my property. Charlie truly does it all. I know I can count on him and he will continue to be my go-to guy for all projects moving forward.

Painting Plus/Siding Plus/Roofing Plus is the only company I go to anymore for exterior work. I discovered a leak in my 18 year old roof but am not yet ready to replace it. They patched it very reasonably to give me a couple more years use out of it. Over the past 6 years they have painted the outside of my house, replaced some of the cedar siding, rebuild my front porch, rebuilt my chimney, rebuilt a closet which juts out of the front of the house and scraped/painted a vaulted ceiling in my great room. I trust them implicitly and don't even bother getting other estimates anymore. I can't imagine using any other company. They are stable and fair.

I first hired Painters Plus in June to assist with a deck renovation as part of closing the sale of my existing home. Three other companies wouldn't even touch the job but Painters Plus not only took the job they delivered a high quality top notch on-time job under budget! Could not have been more pleased with their work on that job. A month later I had Painters Plus come to my new home to replace over 50% of the rotted fascia boards in my new home and handle all the painting for that. Additionally as part of the job we had planned to fix some rotted wood around one of the doors but when they got in to clean that out they found further damage. I elected to replace the whole door and they added to the job and knocked it out within the same day. Again the service and price could not be beat. I have to replace the roof in about two years and will definitely be using this company for that service as well. And they do roll off dumpsters too! Wish I'd known that prior to my move!

After spending a couple of weeks researching and looking for the right contractors/company to repair and fix some things around the exterior of our home my wife and i were really looking forward to having our home that needed some soffit, siding and roof repair done. Reading online how the owner of the company “Charlie” was so helpful and looked after his customers i thought well hey this just might be the one that we’re looking for and ironically a couple days later during that week we passed their place of business on powers ferry rd. so it was like a sign to go ahead and get the work done. Only to contact the company and spoke with the office clerk Cindy, gave her our information to await a callback from Charlie or a contractor, whichever came first. (Although we looked forward to hearing from Charlie after reading all of these reviews online about how he takes care of New and returning customers.) So, we didn’t expect a week to pass before we would receive a callback however that’s how it all started and ended. Charlie gives me a call about 8pm one evening stating how he’s going to have someone else follow up with me — this follow up person was Joel (A contractor.) Joel calls about 4 days later so now I’ve been waiting roughly 2.5 weeks to get someone out to the residence just to tell me what’s it’s going to take to repair the work needing to be done. Joel comes out another 3 days after we speak it was a Thursday morning that i took off from work, he took plenty of pictures and then tells me after his assessment of the property that he or someone from the office will “follow up” with me. Another week passes and i decided to call Charlie myself, he answered and i informed him of the situation he then replies “oh yea i remember speaking with you... followed by let me reach out to Joel and see what’s going on...” which leads me to the end result. Painting, Siding & Roofing Plus never returned call or followed up after numerous attempts. Horrible customer care and service. All we wanted to do was have what our 1st home worked on by quality contractors and we thought this was a good servicing company to do it. I guess we were wrong. Don’t believe the hype of companies via the internet. BIG LET DOWN!!!!

Painting Plus was great to work with; the team was there early every day and worked as long as there was light. Even though we had some bad weather and a sudden hard freeze, which stretched the work out a bit, as soon as the weather cleared, the team was back working. Also, as the team was working they found some other wood damage which wasn't visible to the eye and brought it to my attention; Charlie went over it with me and we got it fixed. They could have just painted over some of these areas and never said anything, but bringing it up and helping me to avoid bigger problems down the road was greatly appreciated. The house looks great; everything is crisp, clean, and perfect. I would highly recommend them and I will be using Painting Plus again when I need work outside or inside.

well, a month ago these folks came and painted my house. besides having a extensive argument on my porch with their boss about how they didn't want to wear white pants, everything seemed fairly professional. then, I wrote the final check and they promised to come by and clean up and do touch-ups. it has now been a month, and no one has come by to clean up or do touch-ups. so, a big part of the back of my house just has one single layer of paint on it, there were straight edge razor blades left on the porch rail that rusted through and took off the paint (that they just put on) off, there is an outlet left half-hanging out of the wall, and, mainly, they have left a huge pile of trash in the front of my house. they keep promising to come move it. it has now been sitting there for a month. I have called four times. each time they say "soon, soon," in a vague and dismissive tone. and yet, it has been a month. so now we ask--will it ever be removed? should we just rent a dumpster and clean it up ourselves? maybe we should plant flowers around it and decorate as though it is permanent fixture of the landscaping? unsure. I am losing hope, and yet I hold fast to a glimmer of light that one day a massive tornado will come sweeping the trash away and I will see grass again. stay tuned for more updates on the landfill I now call my front yard.

I recently bought a house that needed a new roof. The inspector explained to me that the roof was Atlas Chalet and that the shingle was defective. I once again called Painting Plus since they did an amazing job putting a new roof on the previous house I owned. I explained to Charlie what the situation was and he wrote me a quote immediately to hand to the home owners. Charlie also very knowledgeable about the defective shingle and why there was issues with the shingle. I was explicit in communicating to the homeowners that I wanted Painting Plus to do it since they do the work right. I was able to get the homeowners to leave money for me to have a new roof installed. During the entire process Charlie at Painting Plus didn't pressure me about the timeframe of the roof or getting started right away. Charlie was very understanding there was a process. As soon as I closed I called Charlie and he said he was on it. The entire job was stress free and very professional just like the work they did on the roof on my old house. I have dealt with painting contractors for commercial jobs in the past and knew when I was seeking quotes for this commercial job that I didn't want to have the fiasco I've had in the past. My house was built in the early 90’s in East Cobb. The style of the front porch was outdated and narrow. I knew the look and the new dimensions I wanted but once Anthony and Charlie came out and took a look they had an eye for design and detail and really expanded on my thoughts with out blowing my budget. They gave me a fair quote, used exceptional materials, and workmanship and transformed the entire front of my home. I now have a wide “southern style” front porch with square columns (replaced old turned posts) and have received many compliments from neighbors. I was able to install a porch bed swing after the redesign and build and it’s now a much more usable and functional space for entire family!
