J Stevens painting offered a great price, and typically you get what you pay for, but I would say that you get much more that what you pay for when you use J Stevens! We hired J Stevens to paint the outside of our home in Feb 2018. We selected them among a few quotes we had received, mostly due to good reviews we found. After selecting them, the team was at the house the next day. They were able to scrape the chipped old paint, powerwash and repair most of the rotted wood on the trim of our relatively large home after the first day. Unfortunately, mother nature kept them away for a while, but any day the rain subsided, the crew was back to get what they could completed. Once the rain was out of the forecast, the courteous, hard working crew got the paint up and the house looks great! I'd definitely recommend J Stevens and plan to use them when we paint again.

Working with Jeff from J. Stevens Painting was great! I found the company online after looking for someone to remove our stippled/plaster ceiling. He was quick to respond, was able to fit us in the schedule a week early, and the end result was fantastic! The guys did such a great job. They had to sand/mud multiple times in order to get it smooth. Our once very 80s patterned ceilings are now smooth and updated. I am very particular and was fully expecting to have to ask them to touch up any spots that weren't perfect, but I couldn't find a single one. Every room was perfectly smooth. I am extremely pleased with how it turned out.

We were looking for contractors to have our house repainted and decks re-stained. After reviewing at least three different companies, we decided on J. Stephens Painting. We were anticipating the process of the house and decks pressure washed and painted to take at least a week. The crew that came to our house showed up ready to work! They were efficient and worked steadily; and the entire process only took 3 days. They cleaned up each night and were back the next day ready to get things done. J. Stevens Paining is a First Class Painting Business. Don't waste your time calling other places, let me save you some time. We had our home painted by his team and it looked better than when we bought the house. We had some minor repair from weathering that needed attention, he honored the work done and repaired at no charge. He also took care of other inside drywall repair from settling, they fixed the drywall and painted, couldn't even tell they were there. Jeff and his team are second to none, they are timely, reasonable, and great to work with. We'll call them again in a heartbeat if we need anything done with painting!

J Stevens was an excellent choice of painter for my home. Mr. Stevens was extremely responsive when I contacted him via email, text, and phone call. He always answered right away. His crew showed up each day right at 9am and worked hard each day until the project was complete. He accepts credit cards which many other painters do not, and I have zero complaints about the quality of work completed. I have walked around the outside of my home multiple times since the completion of the project and I have yet to find any problem areas. Absolutely FANTASTIC!!! J. Stevens Painting exceeded our expectations in every regard for the work they recently did at an office building recently purchased. From the initial call we experienced the following: a quick, and professional response / meeting to determine the scope of work, a very reasonable estimate for the cost of the work, scheduled the work about 3 weeks out, showed up with a clean, respectful and professional crew, and proceeded to do the work at a quality level above what we anticipated. We had a challenging job with lots of work high off the ground on an existing, occupied office building, which present challenges not present on many jobs (concern for parking, overspray, etc...), but the crew handled it in a 6 star manner! Worked over the weekend for the sprayed portion of the work, and did all the hand labor during the week. Also, painting a metal roof in the hot Georgia sun is a challenge during any season, but particularly difficult during the long, hot days of late spring. They showed up early, and got it done before the final product would suffer any negative outcomes. Overall, today it is difficult to get people to show up at times, let alone do good work. The quality of the work, and professionalism of the entire team at J. Stevens really sets them apart from any other painting crew in the area. Look at the pictures I am uploading (before and after from roughly the same areas), and I believe you will see that our building now looks about 15 years younger. This has been the best experience with a painting company we have had in doing business for about 30 years.

It is an amazing thing to find a company like this one that looks at a job and quotes a reasonable price for services rendered. This crew was by far the most organized and efficient I have ever seen. Watching Jeff's 7 workers was like watching a choreographed dance. Every fellow had his job and right behind him was the next guy to do his. Not a drop of paint spilt not a flaw to be found. I called 5 different painters before I was lucky enough to find Jeff by chance. While other painters were 2 weeks out, Jeff had his crew out the very next day. This company is in my opinion the Platinum Standard of what painting should be.

I found J Stevens Painting on Kudzu and contacted Jeff for an estimate. He showed up early for the appointment and discussed the scope of work with me, explaining everything that needed to be done. He promised to send me a written estimate which he did the very next day along with his certificate of liability insurance. His proposal was not the cheapest, nor was it the most expensive but I decided to go with him because I was already impressed with his professionalism and responsiveness. I had contacted other contractors that either never showed up or never sent a quote. We scheduled the job, but it was delayed several times due to the continuous rain in April. Jeff kept me informed about the scheduling changes and as soon as the rain stopped, his crew started the job. The guys showed up first thing in the morning and worked full days. They cleaned the job site each day and finished the job ahead of schedule. There were no surprises or additional costs over the quoted amount. The crew was courteous and professional and addressed all of my requests. They did a great job on the house. The transformation is amazing and I wouldn’t hesitate to use them on future projects.
