Although the first available date was over a week away, Five Start Paining was able to start my job in two days when there was an unexpected opening. They started right in and completed painting my commercial office of over 2,300 square feet in three days. The work was very professional and was done exactly as we had requested. The crew cleaned up after themselves and we were able to move in as soon as the paint was dry. Extra thanks are due since they were able to do the job in the cold while the HVAC people failed to show up on time to turn on the heat of the previously vacant suite. I will definitely recommend them to my colleagues and will use them again whenever I have the need.

I met the owner of 5-Star Painting in our BNI business networking group. I asked for a quote and completed this quickly. 5-Star Painting sells themselves short on their name - It should be 10-Star Painting (same goes for Google limiting reviews to 5 stars only) They started the job, were timely, and communicative - something that you don't always see in the trades. As the job proceeded they were very receptive to the changes and additions and were fair with their additional costs for those changes. At the punch-list visit they once again listened to my concerns and then immediately completed my punch-list. I should add that prior to the small punch-list they were about 95% awesome - after they rang the bell at 100% I won't hesitate to refer them to anyone and as President of my subdivision, will be actively letting residents see the work they did on my home and then eagerly endorse them. Thank you Scott, Matt and the whole team!

I found Five Star painting using Home Advisor. I called Scott and he answered my call. He gave me some great advice and offered to have an estimator come out that same day. Her name is Kristen and she was great! She walked through each room, measured and gave me a fair quote within the day. A couple days later, Kristen and her painters came in. They promised they would have my rooms finished in 2 days. I was blown away at their work. Precise, clean and done in record time! Herman's professional workmanship showed in how clean the paint lines were. I'm pretty picky and couldn't find but a few touch ups! I will be recommending Five Star to others!

I'm usually not giving reviews before the job is done, but this was the best estimation visit I got ever, Rock Kenney the owner was very friendly, and gave me tons of tips that saved me a lot of money right on the spot, and he didn't sell me things I don't need. he beated the competition's quote by 500$ and uses even better paint and tools. I'm positive the work will be as promising (will update the review after the job is done...)

Kirsten provided the initial quote for our job. Mary-Jo was the project manager during the work. The crew was “Abiu”. Five-Star was one of several companies recommended by our Sherwin Williams color consultant. We obtained quotes from two of these companies, but one of them would not provide us with insurance information until we signed a contract. We walked away from them! We scheduled the work with Five-Star for the 2nd week of January. We did this in mid-November. I think their schedule was running out about 1 1/2 to 2 weeks, but WE pushed things out so we would have time to prep the rooms after the holidays. The re-paint work is part of a larger re-model job that involved replacing every floor in our downstairs too. This was a big job involving 3 rooms, a foyer, and a hallway. The “great room” has a huge vaulted ceiling that slopes from 12 to about 27 feet. Work was performed quite competently in about 4 days plus an extra hour or so on day 5 to address the punch list. Mary-Jo was in contact daily by text, and the crew was friendly, respectful and responsive. Due to my own fault, two closets off of the kitchen had not been quoted, but were tacked on for a very reasonable adder. These folks are easy to work with...

We used 5 star painting in the past but it was the Suwanee branch team. Contacted them again and needed an estimate for a different location which was done by the Alpharetta team. The walk through was done in about 30 minutes but didn't get an estimate on the spot like we had gotten on the previous job. A day passed, 2 days, 3 days a week. Nothing! We called, emailed, texted and one excuse after another. We were told by Five Star it would be escalated. Still got nothing. In the end after several weeks, not even a return call was ever made. No estimate, no apology. NOTHING. WASTE OF MY MORNING.

Total scam! Originally thought hey looked professional. Quote was not the lowest but I liked the whole package - Quote to paint exterior of house seemed thorough. After 4 months and having taken my deposit - the project was finally going to start! Or so I thought - project manager shows up first day and pulls crew - I get email from owner (Scott) that the quote was wrong and it would be 25% more than quoted (extra $2000). I presented them with competitive quote and still they would not match! Watch yourself with businesses like this! And my bet is that I never see the deposit!

Five star is hands down the best company that we have used for painting. They have a talent for hiring the best people. Our experience was great from the initial estimate with Kim right up to the final walk through with Matt. Kim was friendly and knowledgeable. Our job was started and we had excellent communication throughout the process. Matt called to let us know he would be the project manager and Jamie would be our painter. They told us what time to expect them each day and how long Jamie would be there. Jamie, the painter, was honest and extremely thorough. I don't like to leave the house with workers inside, but I immediately felt comfortable with Jamie. I have never seen such a diligent and hard worker. He began each morning at 8, took a short lunch and started right back working until 7pm. The owners of Five Star know how to run a business. My husband and I can tell because we have dealt with numerous painting companies doing remodels over the years and this company is the best. We used a company called Bear Mountain and they had poor communication, no consistent contact person, and it was a painful process. I was afraid of dealing with another painting company but Five Star was the opposite of Bear Mountain. I would use Five Star time and time again. They had restored my faith in painting companies. Then, the owner calls after final walk through to make sure everything went well and get input. This company is simply the BEST!!!

They replaced some rotted wood and fixed my back door so it now closes like it's brand new (door frame is not straight and they customer fitted a peice of wood to make it fit properly!) They were clean, polite and hard working. The house looks great and it was completed in a day and a half!

Five Star Painting is right! I'm disabled, and found myself in trouble trying to please my unbelievably-picky landlord - with no time to spare! Scott, the owner, took a personal interest and a personal hand in arranging for the work to get done. David, my estimator, was the first on-site to help put me at ease that it could be done, and for an extremely competitive price. Both of these heroes dealt with my landlord directly on several occasions, and were extremely helpful and professional. I needed a cleaning service to prep the house to even be ready to paint - and they found one to get it done, luckily right in line with the scheduling crunch. When my landlord said it wasn't good enough, (picky, remember?) cleaners came BACK out. Scott really stayed on top of this job until it was completed to some pretty exacting standards, even when it wasn't fully in his wheelhouse. I could not recommend Five Star Painting more strongly.

Total respect for Five Star Painting!! They totally ROCK! I needed a complete 1600 sq ft house interior painted for a rental property and only had one week to get it completed. Five Star Painting (Rock) was great to work with and their turnaround time was fantastic. They were ontime and delivered a great project for me. The team did a variety of minor repairs to correct previous issues and painted the entire interior, including ever closet. The house looks brand new now. I would use Five Star again and again and again! They get a 5 out of 5 STARS in my book for a job extremely well done.

Started off great, very disappointing finish. Some how their initial estimate was inaccurate, much lower than what it should have been, but still within range of most of the estimates I received to complete painting of a newly finished basement. They proceeded to nickel and dime throughout the project in what seem to be a method for gaining their loss from the initial estimate (I.e. More primer needed than expected, more doors than expected, walls are taller than expected, etc, etc), although nothing changed in the project from the initial estimate. Apparently, the estimator had no clue what he was doing, however I don't believe the customer should be at fault. Needless to say, all that ends well, is well. Not so, later I notice that a mixture of paint color was used for the ceilings, not very noticeable in most lighting. I followed up with five star, they simply blew me off. Wow! Too many good contractors to settle for attitudes (site manager), bad quality and support.

Unfortunately, I can't give 0 stars because that's the level of service we received. We had someone come out on 10/19/15 to give us a quote. That guy that came out was very friendly. The quote we were trying to get was to paint the ENTIRE interior of our house. We were told we'd get the quote that day. No quote came. Next day, no quote. After waiting several days, I decided to call to follow up on where our quote is. I was told they were sending a message to the guy that came out and to check my e-mail in the morning. I did, no quote. I've now waited another several days, I call back and explain the situation. I'm put on hold while the person in the office directly calls whomever it supposed to be getting us our quote. I was assured I'd have our quote first thing in the morning. That was several days ago, wanna guess if I've got my quote from my October 19th appointment? Nope! Still nothing. The only thing more scary then Halloween is how terrible their service is. Can't comment on the quality of work because despite all my efforts, I can't even get past the most basic step: a simple quote. Given their huge challenge to do something so basic and simple, there's no way I'd trust them with doing the actual job. Anyone know a good painting company?

The whole team from Brandon(quote), Matt(project mgr), Fausto & his crew as well as Julia & Mary Jo(in the office) everyone was so professional and courteous. My house looks so refreshed with the new paint. We are getting ready to sell and I wanted the house to look fresh and clean. They are very detail oriented when doing the final walkthrough.
