Fillo painted my newly constructed home I purchased from the builder. The paint job looks great! What I really like about Fillo Painting was how very accomodating and helpful they were when I called them back to do a small project for me. Fillo Painting responded to my needs even though it was a very low cost project. The painter was very helpful and kind and went above to fulfil my requests. He even gave me pointers and tips on how to do my own touch up jobs. I am now even going to call Fillo to paint my deck! Great job Fillo Painting!

Great customer service and attention to detail.................. I was in need of having my exterior house and deck painted, also gutters replaced. Being I was using Angie's List I had sent out requests to several companies. Some did not respond, some came for a sight walk and didn't send a quote afterwards, and some responded fully. Fillo sent Jeff out whom has years of experience, Fillo's quote was very competitive and I chose them. Fillo's communication was excellent from the office as to what they would do when, even when the rain had to put it off a couple days. The crew whom was led by Oscar, did an excellent job! Oscar was outstanding with communicating with me at my home. The crew had great attention to detail, they had a lot to scrape and spent the necessary time to do so. Prep work is a big part of the job and they did as good as I would have myself. The painting was great detail, and Oscar made sure to do a detail walk through with me. The gutter crew did a great job as well. I had a prior problem with one drain pipe running off on a sidewalk that I had noted in the contract, they came up with a professional looking solution. I have painted a couple houses and done gutters in my younger years, and I am very critical of work being done for me. You can rarely find a team that gives you this service. Wow, my house looks as new as it did on the day that I moved in 13 years ago. The painters at Fillo Painting did a better job than I imagined. Every detail was adhered to, including all of the tedious prep work, taking care of my property, and making sure that I was aware of repairs that were needed before they painted. I want to be as fair as I can, so I will start with the positive. On the whole, as in the bulk of the job, my home looks better than it did when they started. In addition, the receptionist I spoke with was very pleasant and professional. The problems come in the form of a number of small things, and one big thing, which I will get to in a moment. First and foremost, the painters did not take the time to ensure that no paint got on any doorknobs, light switch plates (the majority of which they did not remove), and most importantly, the carpet. Second, I noticed after they left that one of them had jacked the heat up on my thermostat from 70 degrees to 75 degrees. I know it's cold outside, and the guys had to be in and out for various reasons, but come on! If they wanted me to do that for them, all they had to do was ask. Third, I and I think this is the most telling about how the company is run, a representative* came out and did a walk-through with my wife the Monday after the painters had left (they finished on Saturday). When my wife had pointed these things out to him, including a few other things that she noticed, and indicated to him that she did not want to pay until it was made right, he called her a hustler and accused her of trying to cheat the company out of money. He referred her to all the terrific reviews on his website and kept asking her why she didn't trust him when the reviews were so good. He then offered for his guys to come out and do touch up, but refused to accommodate us on our schedule, and got mad that we were not accommodating him. My point is that this guy was either having a really bad day, or he's kind of a jerk, because he made drove my PREGNANT WIFE to tears during the walk-through. Full disclosure, he did give us over a 10% discount after this incident, which we accepted, but good grief man, would it kill you to show a little professionalism to a dissatisfied customer? This company* needs to do a serious self-evaluation. Your mode of staying in business is to provide good customer service, and owning up to what were otherwise minor mistakes. If you are going to offer to fix it, try to be as reasonable as you can, and I promise, most people will forgive some missteps. So there you have it. 2 stars. If you're cool with spending a couple thousand for a mere decent job that leaves you slightly dissatisfied, sure... go with these guys. Do better and treat people better. Until then, I will be recommending your competitors. *EDIT - I stated earlier that the owner did the walk through. This was incorrect, a representative from the company did a walk through on Monday. I was under the mistaken impression that it was the owner.

Our original painter was a no-show, but we wanted to have three rooms painted before we had to go back to work. They scheduled painters on 5pm to come at 8:30am the next day and the whole experience was amazing. What's more, we had to leave at one point for an appointment and couldn't get home on time, so the painters left but had everything cleaned up and cleared out. Thank you for this amazing service!

When my 30 yr old home needed several minor exterior repairs along with painting I chose Fillo because their team could take care of repairing the rotted wood, deteriorated siding, installing gutters, pressure washing and painting, plus the work comes with a guarantee to return and correct any paint issues that appeared later. The process from getting the estimate and holding to it through all the work was excellent, even with reasonable amendments to add on things uncovered during the actual work. I opted for higher level paint since that was an option. I like that it’s Sherwin Williams paint so in the event you need to match it later you know where to get more. A year later we noticed a small area I couldn’t reach that needed some repair and repaint. Fillo delivered on their guarantee and returned to take care of it. Recently a friend was in a similar situation needing a lot of rotted wood and siding repairs plus painting. When she had told what other contractors had quoted her, I strongly recommended she get Fillo to look at the job. She ended up saving a lot of money with Fillo compared to other estimates, even after some additional repairs were discovered that needed to be added in. They even worked with her special request for non-chlorine pressure washing. She was pleased with the results and knowing there is a guarantee that if any paint problems come up in that time they will be taken care of for her.

In between, the guys doing the "heavy lifting" did a wonderful job. Edwin and Daniel spent 3 days painting our kitchen. They had to remove 17 yr old wall paper, primed and put on two coats of paint. They also painted the ceiling and cabinets. Excellent, excellent job! Next Edwin, Louis and Jorge pressure-washed, and painted the exterior. I can't thank them enough for their thoroughness, especially replacing rotted wood that another. They worked tirelessly under very hot conditions, working 11-12 hour days. I cannot foresee us using any company other Fillo Painting and Remodeling when we paint the rest of our house!

Had outside house painted in June, workers did a great job. Give the work 5 stars but the fillo low price to get in and then high price of change order ridiculous, give 0 stars. Was given a price including replacing a lot of damaged wood and once work started was told additional wood needed to be repaired which i understand can happen. Change order price was 1/3 of original signed contract. Fillo made a mistake and sent me another person's change order which was 100.00 less than mine. Called and asked about the similarities in price and discrepancy in amount of work, was told each job is different. Project manager came to house once and never saw again. All communications were done via email with the office and the workers. Happy with work done, not with the bait and switch on price. Standard response from fillo on all bad reviews, blame homeowner. Do not expect to pay the original quote for outside work and if you have any PVC boards don't expect fillo to replace as in signed agreement. Fillo fix, try to fill it and put a lot of paint on it

The reason I gave a rating good instead of great,was for some particular things that happened.When the power washing was done none of the plants were covered as was explained that it would be done.One of the trees has still not recovered and some of the plants had to be replaced.The front door was painted incorrectly as you can see every brush mark Hence my rating.Going back to the pressure washing it was the bleach which was used that killed the plants. More care should have been taken so that no plants etc were harmed.

Before hiring Fillo Painting, I had quotes from six other companies ranging from $6-17k. Fillo was the second lowest. The project was to paint ceilings, walls, trim and doors in a 2700 sqft house. Pretty much everything needed to be painted. It took them about six days to complete the job which to me was amazing. I didn't have to pay them until work was completed and to my satisfaction. They accidentally broke my bathroom vanity sink, but Fillo was very apologetic and reimbursed me for sink. Other than that, they were very professional and the workmanship was great. If I ever needed a painter, I would hire them again.
