We have just completed our 2nd project with Dixon Painting and we couldn't be happier. About a month ago we worked with David Arroyo on a quote for our newly refurbished deck. We got a super reasonable quote from David, and then he came and helped us pick out a color for our deck. In 2 days our deck was transformed! It looks so amazing. It is such a difference from what we had. Since that went so well, we decided to get a quote for our ceilings and our daughters bedrooms. Again, it was a completely painless process. They came in, and 2 days later we had fantastic ceilings and our girls loved their rooms. You would hardly know they were here, they are very clean, and moved everything back where it belonged. We usually do the majority of our painting projects ourselves, but Dixon made it so easy. We are already planning to use them to repaint our fence in the spring!

Recently, like last week, we had the exterior of our house painted by Dixon Painting. The original estimate included some carpentry work that I had overlooked but the Dixon estimator (Ian) noticed and suggested having the work done. I say "suggested" because he was very clear that the decision re. repair work was entirely up to me i.e. no pressure. We intended to have the siding, chimney chase, downspouts and a metal roof over a bay window painted. No work on the shutters or gutters. The crew arrived each day on time and ready to work. There was always an english speaking crew leader on site. They pressure washed, patched, masked and painted all that we asked and cleaned up each day. As the work went on it became apparent the gutters & shutters should also be repainted. The on-site person worked with us to test various colors until we were satisfied. Finally, a day after the job was done and the crew had left, we noticed they was some slight damage to one outdoor light fixture and one security light. A call to the field operations supervisor (Mauricio) got immediate attention and a visit with an hour. He corrected the issues and agreed to pay for the replacement fixture. I like these folks. I'd use them again.

Dixon is a company who hires painting groups or subcontractors like me who are experience and paint everyday, I have my van, employees, all the tools, insurance, and I'm responsible for the projects start to finish, I have worked for other companies in my career as a painter and Dixon is not a good company to do business with, as a subcontractor or as a customer, on the job I did for Dixon I basically worked for free, they don't reward their subs. The job I did it took me 4 days 10 hrs. a day 3 people 1 day I had 4 people, in order for myself to have made money I had to finish the job in 2 days which is impossible to do a good painting job, Mauricio told me I had to do the same job in half the time and use less paint. I don't know how all their other subs can make any money and do a good job.

Your driver, license plate number PPW9111 is an unsafe driver. This person's wreckless driving almost caused a major accident in the express lane 3/14/19. Absolutely no care or concern for safe driving. I hope this review will result in some counseling by the owners of this company. This person is a prime example as to why car insurance in Georgia is extremely costly. The tinted windows may have helped your driver hide his/her face but the "face of the company" was visible for the general public to witness how careless this person was.

There were a couple of places where wood rot had occurred and they repaired and painted those places. After about a month, I had them come back and touch up a few places, and like they state, their work is guaranteed. I will definitely use them to do the inside of my home!

I hired Dixon painting to paint the entire interior of our ~2500 sqft home. The initial quote was competitive with three other quotes I received from other vendors. I ultimately went with Dixon because Fernando was an excellent communicator and detail oriented. The work took 1 week from start to finish. They covered the floors, moved furniture to the center of the room and covered everything in plastic before they started prepping or painting. There was little evidence a crew had been in the house at the end of the project... that's how thorough the cleanup was. As far as painting goes, they did an excellent job with coverage and detail around the trim. They even did our cabinets which look incredible. I would recommend Dixon painting if you want a no-hassle, high quality experience.

Dixon did a great job with painting our house. It was a challenging job - cedar shakes with old chipped paint. They sanded, primed and painted the entire house and it looks great. They also had quite a bit of carpentry work to do (replaced rotten fascia, trim etc). Ian was the sales associate and he walked the entire house and gave us a fair estimate (not the cheapest but also not the most expensive). Mauricio supervised the crew and made sure everything was done as promised and to our satisfaction. Professional and courteous at all times. Our experience with Dixon Painting was amazing. I wish I could give 6 stars! I honestly didn't know about Dixon going in, but I used the Angie's List 'contractor finder' feature and out of the 4 recommendations that were posted out, only Dixon gave me the courtesy of calling me back. Nathan contacted me and came out the next day to discuss my house. He gave me several options of things I need to do, things I should do but weren't necessary, and then things to avoid. He gave me what I considered a very fair estimate on all options. And he was honest about start-time, saying it might be 3 weeks or so. In the meantime, they provided a Sherwin Williams color consultant, free of charge, for my wife and I to pick out our house colors. Piper, from Sherwin Williams, came out and really knew her stuff. My wife and she landed on a beautiful color scheme. On the workdays, they showed up promptly and the workers were very friendly. They did all work without interrupting us one time, which is important since both my wife and work from home. Work was done quickly and meticulously. They even moved large items (kayak, pergola, etc.) When they left, there wasn't a trace of them being here. A complete 180 from the last painters I had many years ago. Now that the work is done, my house is the talk of the street. Even total strangers are commenting on how beautiful the house is. And now my neighbors are worried we're moving! We made minor changes, additions at the last minute and I felt comfortable talking with them during the process. You could tell they wanted me to be happy with the final result. We had the exterior of our house painted and had the gutters replaced. We also had some minor repair done, i.e. some of the Hardee board on the chimney was replaced along with some rake board. The crew was friendly and easy to work with. They did the work in a timely manner and cleaned up at the end of each day. The quality of their work was very good. After the job was finished we found some minor items that required touch-up and the job foreman, Max, came back to fix in a timely fashion. We are very pleased with their work. DO NOT TRUST DIXON PAINTING. I scheduled Dixon painting 5 weeks ago to paint the exterior of my house. It is obvious that it is a historic Victorian home. Paul came to give a quote and when we were surveying the work to be undertaken, I asked if there was anything special to be done in regards to lead paint because it's an old property. He shrugged it off and we continued on. I received the quote and waited the month + for work to begin. Today the crew showed up, unpacked their gear and began pressure washing. Within 15 minutes, after the supervisor arrived to take a look at our home, they all packed up and left in a hurry (so much so that they left gates open to the street where my toddler girls play). Paul (by himself, no supervisor in sight) rang the doorbell and said we can't paint your house because it has lead paint and Dixon is not qualified to handle such jobs. He had no clue who else might be able to paint it and that when giving the quote he didn't realize the house was built prior to 1978 and that lead paint might be present. Dixon might be fine at doing standard jobs but don't count on them for any specialty work. They - or at least Paul - are way out of their depth. It's mind boggling that he didn't have any inclination to test for lead paint in the first place and avoid this drawn out process and utter disappointment. They left me high and dry and scrambling to figure out who to call who could help. A complete waste of time and energy with no resolution. Incompetent.

I had a most positive experience with Dixon. They replaced my siding with Hardie Plank, painted that and my stucco siding, and painted my deck. They also provided the lowest quote of the three I solicited. During the almost two weeks of work to accomplish this, their crew was constantly on the move--it was amazing to me to see how hard they worked over so many hours. A couple of times they even continued to work through rain. (I work from home so I was around for the entirety of the project.) Ian Farrell, the sales rep I dealt with, was on site multiple times making sure all was proceeding smoothly and checking to see if I had any concerns. Two of his bosses also stopped by at least twice each. Just so this doesn't sound all Pollyanna-ish, the only thing I can knock them for is a little bit of debris left behind. There are tiny bits in my yard that I have a feeling I'll be dealing with for weeks to come. I found a number of nails in my driveway (where the dumpster was). I've discovered a couple of things that were not put back to original condition. While some of my mulch was by necessity trampled beyond repair, they are helping me out with that in a reasonable manner. But these are minor concerns next to the main thing I hired them for: Residing our house and painting. They get an A+ for that.

David and Mauricio were very helpful throughout the process. The deck stain was applied on the last day, then it rained overnight, so the stain didn't adhere the best at first, but then it settled in. They came to look at it, then repainted almost the entire deck floor again. I couldn't believe it. This is a great sign that they will make every effort to do the best work and make sure their customer is satisfied. Their prices were competitive, and I feel like we got a great price compared to the other quotes. They went with a satin finish on the siding instead of flat, and the difference is noticeable compared to neighboring houses painted with flat paint. I will definitely use them again, and recommend them to anyone!

I had Dixon Painting to my house to give an assessment of painting the exterior of my home. The estimate came back rather high. I then work with the owner and get it to a cost that work with my budget. The day of the pressuring washing I had a walk around with one of the field manager to make sure all the item on my house would be repair before painting, only to learn that most of those item was not part of the agreed estimate and they will have to get back to me with the new cost and to my disappointment they came back with another outrageous estimate. I am truly disappointed that Dixon Painting did not do a proper assessment of my house and the day before the work was to being they came back with this outrageous added cost.
