Terrible. I can not and will not recommend this company. Poor quality work. I’ve been trying to get someone to return my calls for a while now to fix and repair some of their “lifetime guarantee “ work. Unfortunately they will not return my calls. I need you be respectful, and honest and stand by the quality of your work. They may excel at somethings, but construction is not one of them. If you need a quick small job, ok. Anything else run, run fat away.

Reached out to this company to receive a quote on work I needed done. Someone came out at the scheduled time and assessed the damages. He informed me I would receive the quote on their letter head in which I needed because Home Depot is paying for the repairs. Day one went by and never received the quote via email as I was advised I would. I called the number the next day of the gentleman that came out and didn't get an answer. I text the number to see when I should get the quote and never got a reply. I am not sure if the job was too small and not worth their while but if that was the case it would have been nice to been told that. Update. Since my previous review the company contacted me immediately to inform me that I should have been made aware that quotes typically take 48 hours to receive and they have also now delivered the quote to me. Thank you for being attentive to my review and getting the issue resolved.

D & R painters did a great job on the walls, doors and base boards. However, The crew did not put things back the way that they found them. Such as curtain rods, the cover for the doorbell, light fixtures, the hood vent for the stove, etc. They also did not push the stove back in place. There was also some painters tape that they forgot to remove. I went by the house one day and no work was done at all that day. That explains why a promised four day job took eight days. Then the owner was one hour late meeting me to do the inspection. In conclusion, tardiness and incompletion is why I gave them three stars.

What an amazing job the team at D & R did. We had other quotes to paint our entire house; David was very proficient and thorough with his estimate promising no extra hidden charges. I contacted the owner to do some finishing work, but never received a quote. Also, I asked for a quote on building a patio cover, but he never took any measurements. I called numerous times about the quote, but the receptionist nor the owner ever returned my call. If you don't have a big job don't bother. This was a total waste of time. P.S. The owner contacted me and advised me of his situation. After speaking with him we came to a resolution that was good for the both of us so I'm increasing his rating from 1 star to 3 stars.

Omg! D&R Painting and construction is an A1 contractor. In January 2018, my wife had a severe stroke. She was hospitalized until April 19th. Midway through this ordeal, it became apparent that my wife would need accommodations and modifications upon returning home. After contacting and meeting with 4 other contractors referred by one of the largest home improvement stores, none of them showed the professionalism, courtesy and can do attitude like D&R did. From the very first meeting with The Owner David and his lead man Javier, I knew I had the right contractor. They made me feel secure and had great ideas about how to remodel the downstairs bathroom to accommodate my wife, when the others failed. The workmanship, quality and dependability demonstrated throughout the process beyond my expectations. I am truly grateful to have found such a reliable and honest contractor. Their commitment and willingness to get the project started and completed before my wife was discharged home was exceptional. We hired D&R to finish some drywall work in our basement and are extremely disappointed. Not only are doorways crooked, holes for vents, light switches and canned lights are cut too large, mud not sanded and has left lumps in ceilings and walls. We called to have them come back out to fix all the problems. Two men showed up and spent all day “fixing” the problems; however, there were still many problems left behind. On top of these problems, the contractors left a huge mess for us to clean up. We DO NOT recommend this company!!!!

We used D&R to paint the exterior of our home in the Mirror Lake community. From the time I was collecting estimates, Mr. David Rivas arranged a visit to my home soon after initial contact, and responded within a couple of days with a thorough, professional, and competitively priced estimate. Mr. Rivas made it a point the stress his family business' commitment to quality and service. I found his work crew to be polite and accommodating. Not only did they work quickly and efficiently with our house painting job, but I was very pleased with the quality of their work which included pressure washing, caulking, replacing damaged or rotted trim, and even some custom carpentry modification work to a problem area we had. Two coats of paint was applied to both siding and trim, and all other painted home surfaces were refreshed as well; shutters, doors, porch metal roof, etc. He did not mention payment until I had a chance to thoroughly review the work to my satisfaction. I would certainly recommend Mr. Rivas and his company, and would consider using him again for future projects.

Excellent experience!!!! David and his team replaced an existing screened in deck with expansion, painted gutters and downspouts as well as replaced a sliding glass door. The efficiency with which his team worked was amazing and David dropped in several times and addressed any concern I had. We were in need of fascia and soffit repair or replacement as well as several window and door frame repairs and a whole house trim painting. Having no prior experience in this area, I found D&R via a web search. I had contacted several folks to look at the house and provide estimates. David contacted me and we set a time for him to take a look around. He arrived we walked around the house as I explained what I needed and he took pictures of everything. I received my estimate later that same day and his estimate was by far the best. To explain, my roof has a very steep pitch and is 3 stories on the back of the house. The steepest and highest point is at a 50 - 60 degree angle. Some of the trim was on the chimney and I was worried that maybe this was too much. Well, I was wrong. David’s crew replaced everything. Wood rot trim and soffits were removed and replaced and painted. Crumbling window sills were cut away and replaced as were door frames around the deck and garage doors. When everything was done the house looked like new. David’s crew was also very pleasant at all times and worked very hard. His office staff was great, as well. If I had a question, they answered or got me in touch with the person I needed. I know often when dealing with a service company you find “add-ons”. This was not the case .The final cost was exactly the price I was quoted. I would absolutely recommend D&R to anyone looking for work on their home. My job was a major project and they came through with exactly the results I hoped for. I am a satisfied customer.
