In my case it was great that I was at home the entire time while the painting was done, my supervision was minimum as the crew that did my house was GREAT!!!! they did an excellent job and the very very few things I pointed out the took care of it immediately. I was extremely happy with the final product, I am glad I paid a reputable company to take care of the exterior painting of my house.

We have used Rick for years for both interior and exterior paint jobs and have been very pleased with the results. Rick is extremely professional and takes the time to not only answer the questions that we had but educate us well. When we were first getting quotes a couple of years ago it was only after Rick came in that I was able to ask good questions to the other bidders and felt even more confident with what we needed to know to make our final decision. We went with Rick and are so glad we did. We have since used him to paint the exterior of our home and our deck this past year. Both crews that worked on our projects were professional and clean and took care of our home. We made a mistake with a color choice that just turned out bad once it was up and he was more then happy to fix what was OUR mistake quickly and fairly. We will continue to use him for all of our painting needs in the future.

If I could rate a zero, I would. The painters painted the exterior of my home. When painting the windows, the painters did not tape the window casings..As a result, there is paint all over the window casings. When I brought the issue to the attention of Rick, he sent out one of his illegal workers who claimed that the crew did not put paint on the casings around my windows. The illegal had the audacity to tell me my home had been painted previously, and the prior painters were responsible for the paint on the window casings. I purchased my home new in 2012. Is there anyone in their right mind who believes I had my house painted two times in 6 years? Furthermore, has anyone purchased a new home that cost almost 400K with a shoddy paint job where there is paint all over the window casings? My neighbors on either side of my home closed within about 2 weeks of me. NEITHER of their homes have paint on the window casings. Rick accepts no responsibility for anything. Any issues is always the fault of the homeowner. He backs his illegal workers who have the audacity to speak to customers as if the painters were in the country legally, which they are not. One if the painters couldn't speak English at all, and I had to talk with the other painter. DO NOT HIRE RICK and HIS ILLEGALS.

Rick was very professional and his painting crew was outstanding. Rick also had a decorator come in and help us to pick out colors and she had great ideas not just for paint but for other decorating ideas too. I can't say enough good thing about the crew that worked on our house. Very clean and very thorough, ensured all old cracks and tape marks were fixed and paint job looks great.

He's always super friendly and willing to talk to you about all the different products offered and the different price points that come with those products. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Rick and the team that he sent out to paint our new home. Rick went out of his way to meet me just days after speaking with him to give me an estimate. Not only did he agree to meet me so quickly, he drove further than usual so that I could get an estimate directly from him. The estimate was provided very quickly and was accurate. I was so pleased that there were no surprises once the job was all said and done. The communication was so easy and direct, I felt like our new home was being well managed. Not only were we able to have our house painted within a week of contacting CertaPro, I was able to meet with the fabulous Deena who gave us such wonderful insight and direction in colors to use. She was absolutely wonderful to work with and really allowed my vision to come to life in our home. Of note, she met with us on a Sunday evening so that our painters could get started the very next morning! I'm still blown away by the amazing customer service! The team that was sent out to work for us arrived on time worked very hard and very well. I felt completely safe leaving our house while they worked on repainting all of our ceilings and walls... Truly, this was the best experience I could've hoped for. I cannot wait to rehire Rick. We will definitely be calling him when we tackle the project of repainting the exterior of our home.

We had 2 rooms painted with one of the rooms requiring popcorn ceiling removal and refinish. Our CertaPro team (Victor, Michael, Wilmer) were on time, professional, efficient, and happy on the job! All furniture was protected and then moved back into place when work was complete. Rick Holtzman, owner of the franchise in our area, was absolutely the best to work with. Will use again if needed and have already referred to a neighbor.

The house for the most part looks great, and on the face of it, the quote was fantastic. In reality, we were left to manage the painting crew on our own. The first painting crew sent out didn't have the appropriate equipment and as a result, damaged our gutter guards so badly, they needed to be replaced. CertaPro insurance covered it, but it was a hassle. The first crew also did a poor job of painting the house and ended up quitting CertaPro. The second crew was able to fix most of the issues caused by the first crew, but we ended having to wait for them to become available, which extended our project by a week. Also, the carpentry work they did to replace the drip board above our front porch caused damage to the fascia board running across the length of the front of our house, specifically right above our front entrance. They attempted to caulk over it, and when we asked for it to be repaired, someone was sent out to recaulk and repaint. The result was awful since the paint had sat for weeks and was applied to goopy caulk. I was told by the franchise owner that wood always has blemishes, but there weren't any until they did their repair work. He offered to repaint the board end to end, but he said he wouldn't repair the damage. I'm now coming out of pocket again to hire someone else to repair the damage they caused. I wouldn't recommend CertaPro to anyone. Too much effort, too much trouble, and we're not done yet.

Had a great experience with Rick and his crew. The exterior painting of my house was delayed because of weather but Rick kept me advised and actually was able to start a couple of days sooner than expected. A professional crew and Rick stands by what he says. The project used quality paint for each part of the job. In 10 years or so I'll use them again.

The best reference I can give is that I have used them over and over again. Big projects, interior and exterior. They even sent a designer to help with paint color selection. Always on time, always professional. Crews are professional, work quickly and clean up thoroughly after the project. Rick is attentive and personable. Would absolutely recommend!
