I contacted Bear Mountain Custom Painting to give me a quote on possibly painting the inside of my home that I was putting on the market. Zach came and was very professional. He gave me the quote which was reasonable but lucky for me the buyer of the house didn't wanted it painted. Fast forward a month and a half later I close on my new home which I wanted the inside painted. I called Zach who remembered giving me the first quote. He arrived on time for our appointment. He was professional and delivered the quote as promised. The quote was reasonable and hired them to do the job. Because of the rain, they were able to move me up in the schedule since mine was an inside job. Alex and his team prepped and painted the entire inside of my home in 3 days. We contracted with Bear Mountain Custom painting to fix some issues with a patio door that had resulted in some drywall damage inside the adjoining sunroom and to to then restore the room to the proper state. including correcting the placement of about 50% of the molding trim work. Zach Kozuch was very responsive to our concerns about the work that needed to be done and did his best to bring the quote in at a fair price for the work to be done and helped expedite the scheduling as well. When Jeff and his crew showed up, they immediately got down to determining further details that had not. been apparent earlier and making sure they got addressed within the work and clearly explained the additional charges necessary. They still made the schedule with some room to spare and did a few additional things that we needed around the house (nothing like adding two bathrooms and a front door to be painted on halfway through the first day!) and still kept a smile on their faces and just kept on progressing. I don't think we would even look anywhere else after the work that Bear Mountain has done for us - every single employee we have had out has been professional, polite, and knew their stuff. That means the management is doing their job as well - this company is fantastic in comparison to some others we have had do work for us in the past.

They sent out a sales rep shortly after I inquired about needing a quote for my home in Big Canoe and then we very quickly received the estimate. Their prices were comprehensive and their quote offered options that we might not have known to ask for but that turned out to be important to us. Their prices were also in line with other groups that gave us estimates. This is a very professionally run and organized company who took the time to check on our experience and satisfaction all through the project. I hired BM for the responsiveness and understanding of the problem, which involved leaks around some masonry and flashing. They were a little more than I expected to pay, but the service and customer relations were superb. They came out on a weekend after having been rained out.Knew what the issue was and said they found the source of the problem. The two workers were very respectful and thorough. But after the next rain, smaller leaks were still letting water in. I blame the original builder for such problems in a 3- year old house. The same lead technician from BM came back and identified some faulty caulking and some that had not been done at all. No extra charge. And now the leaks are gone completely. I will call them again for next project and for painting.

The folks at Bear Mountain Custom Painting are nothing short of outstanding. I contacted Jared on a referral from a friend. Jared called before he came out to scope and estimate the project (a garage floor coating). He showed up on time, communicated professionally, explained the work to be done. He emailed me a proposal in January. I opted to wait on having the work done until the spring because I wanted the added advantage of warmer weather to give the garage floor coating the greatest chance of success. Matt and the other project managers and front office staff did a great job of scheduling the work and following through at every turn. We scheduled the work for this week. Attached are the before and after pictures to give an idea of the scope of the project. It is kind of hard to tell in the photos, but the finish came out blotchy...shiny in places and dull in others. I contacted Matt - my project manager and they jumped right on it. Rob Kozuch, the President of the company came out to review the work with me and determined that a second coat would fix the problem. Fantastic communication and response. Excellent customer service. I have already asked that they quote a job for a commercial office complex we manage.

I did a lot of online research about local painting companies and invited three companies out for an estimate for exterior painting, wood replacement, and other minor exterior repairs. Bear Mountain Custom Painting had the best warranty, the most reactive sales rep, and other good online reviews so I decided to hire Bear Mountain since they were local and other customers were very happy with their work. There was nothing Bear Mountain couldn’t do. We had firm quotes for exterior painting, new gutters, rotten wood replacement, and a few shingle replacements. In the middle of the project I also decided to replace my shutters and they completed that for me, too. During the work I received many follow-up calls on how the work was progressing, how I was feeling about it, and any other item I or Bear Mountain wanted to discuss. All additional work orders I wanted completed were emailed to me for review within 24 hours. Throughout terrible weather, cold, and mud in the back-yard, the finished project is fantastic. Bear Mountain also discussed how to keep the paint lasting a long time as well as other services they offer when I decide to have more work done. Overall I am extremely pleased with their work. The crew was friendly and hardworking. The ongoing communications with the project team was nice and professional. Our house looks great! I was never disappointed using Bear Mountain Custom Painting. I strongly encourage you to call them for a quote. If you hire them, you won't be disappointed either.

I got several quotes, all were about the same price. I mentioned to all of them the special attention I needed done. I've been in the building business and know how painting should be done. One just short cutted the process the other basically said If you want it done that way you should do that part yourself. Zach came in to estimate the job, told me exactly how they were going to do everything. It was refreshing , someone who knew the business rather than a salesman who just wanted to take my money. Even though some termite-infested wood was found, they took it all in stride and were able to repair all the damaged wood. Update: bb was closed and dismissed only bc they cant make you pay and we no longer wanted to argue with the company any longer and decided to fo the legal route . after 6 mths trying to get them to stand behind work. we have had several painters come price to fix all the damage. They all said it was a bad paint job. I was told that they didnt use right paint and that they didnt seal all over just in spots. siding on backwards and rot everywhere. also they said it barely had one cot bc all over house you can see the original color. I have tried every way to get them to stand behind the work bc now a yr later I am paying another 7000 to fix it all. I was called malicious by Rob the owner bc I want them to stand behind work. I dont care if your nice or mean. He will not stand behind his work or warranty. Come to find out the warranty can be voided on whatever he wants to use. I would stay far away from this company. I was referred to them by family. I was excited to get my house done. We told the it was a foreclosure when we got it and would need alot of work. Paid for 2 coats on base and trim. Right away the crew they sent didnt seem like they knew what was going on. First day, 3 people and after that 1 person. They were missing spots and after supposedly two coats, you could see the original color on the side thru the new color. Contacted the company, they said no we have done 2 coats but after I showed them where you could see the original color that were like fine we will so 3. I was home the whole time and knew only 1 coat was done the first time. They tried to say they painted windows twice but wood was showing thru plus was home and know it was only once. They finally agreed to do again. But I refused the first crew coming and asked for another. I constantly asked for the wood around the chimney to be replaced even offered to go buy them. They said they were not rotted just rough and didnt need to be replaced. over and over again. Not even a full yr after, I have a leak due to chimney trim boards not be chalked right and bad. But of course I sent a email asking for them to stand by there work and pay for repair and they now but the blame on me which happened alot. I was 7 mths pregnant dealing with that headache. Now I will have to pay 1000s to fix what they should have. Please be aware and if you do hire them be there to supervise

I was very impressed with the initial phone call and the sales call to quote the job, but things kind of fell apart after that. I never received the quote or a phone call so I went with another bid. When I informed the sale person I went with another contractor, but was still interested in receiving a quote to replace my shutters, he emphatically stated he had sent the quote and had tried to call. I didn't have record of either one. He may have, probably did, but I didn't have any record of it. Regardless, I had already informed the other contractor they won the job. I told the Bear Mountain rep I couldn't consider his quote for the original job because it was closed, but I would still consider the one for the shutters. That's all he wanted to know though - whether I was going to consider his original quote. Once he found out I wouldn't do that, I never heard from the guy again. Basically, he was upset he didn't get the $500 job so he wouldn't bid on the $2000 job. Smart business move. I won't be calling them for anything again. In their response, they said "Our Sales Consultant sent a quote via email prior to an agreed-upon follow-up phone meeting to discuss the quote. The customer missed the meeting, and we left him a voice message." - I never received a quote, there was never an agreed follow-up phone meeting, they never left a voice mail message. What is wrong with them?

We’re very happy we chose BMCP to brighten up our kitchen and paint our new front porch. Our kitchen cabinets used to be a dark espresso brown and they are now a bright white and our new porch is now white as well. William and his crew did an exceptional job. We had some difficult areas in the kitchen (a built in wine rack) but his team was able to paint every nook and cranny. Also, huge shoutout to Holly in the front office. She has amazing communication skills and made sure all of our needs were taken care of throughout the project. BMCP will definitely be the first call I make for all future painting projects.

Crew member threw the remains of his lunch in my front bushes after they had their lunch break in the driveway. Another one of the painters was using his tobacco vaporizer in my house. Company denied it of course. Found some things that needed to be fixed after they left (runs in the paint, wall paint on the white ceiling where the roller went to high, etc.) but I didn't want them returning to my home.

Happy from start to finish. Salesman was polite and followed up when he said he would. Crew was friendly to all family members and appeared to work hard the entire time they were here. They even changed out light bulbs and replaced a light fixture with a new one that we purchased. Owner seemed to be genuinely concerned with our satisfaction. He came by to explain things, review some window replacement options (that we initiated - nothing forced on us), and called to check on the status during the painting. We had a lime-wash on the brick, which isn't something many painters are willing to do. We're especially happy with the job they did on the brick and have received numerous compliments. Instead of pushing us for a quick job they even advised that we wait to allow the treated wood time to cure before painting. Very trustworthy company with good employees. I highly reccomend!!

They helped stain fence a couple years ago, and I can say the work shows. No signs of stain wearing thin or off after two full seasons. Very customer centric company. Zach is a good listener, and considered all aspects of fence staining in his quote estimate (he made sure to include both sides of fence in the quote - despite the other side facing conservation land - something others might have missed).
