Can’t believe this company is in business. The owner is extremely rude and disrespectful. I asked for Benjamin Moore paint. He shows up with behr from Home Depot. He got very angry and argumentative when I asked for the correct paint that I requested and PAID FOR!!! After several minutes of arguing he backed down. I would not let this scumbag paint my dog house!!!

Ryan's team did a fantastic job painting our historic bungalow in Point Pleasant. This was a particularly big job with a lot of arts and crafts trim details. Ryan was consultative, discussing a range of color options with us and helped us find the courage to go with a rich bold color that is a real standout while still looking appropriate among the other historic homes on the street. Ryan went above and beyond, deciding do a considerable amount of additional surface prep work that hadn't been discussed as part of the project. It made a big difference and the quality of the work really comes through. I am not sure the photos fully do justice. The members of the team were friendly and caring. The price was very fair and I don't think many other companies would have done this job right for a similar price. There was a little confusion at one point and we had to revisit the plan, but not surprising considering all the details. I would advise if you have a big job, probably spend a little extra time up front to be sure that everyone is on the same page. Custom Concepts was very professional in working though those things with us and we wouldn't hesitate to use them again.

It’s taken me awhile to decide to leave a review. Ryan and his team did an ok job painting the interior and exterior of my home. He was very responsive by phone and text and professional most of the time. The estimate was reasonable and in-line with other estimates I’d received. He accepted my request for a specific paint which was not part of his normal business. For the most part, the painters who came were very good. There was one that was only here one day that I would not have allowed back. Everything he did is currently being redone by another painting contractor but I think it might have been his first and only day. The two that were here the most did a great job but I’m still finding holes from previous pictures and repairing/touching up paint myself in the areas done by others. I really wish that these two would have been the only painters on my project. Ryan did come back to me for additional funds twice claiming items were not on the contract. The first was not on the contract but had been a verbal discussion before the estimate. I missed the omission when I signed so I paid. The second was clearly on the contract and I prevailed. Ryan assured me that the texture repairs that were necessary were no problem but the repairs he made, looked almost worse that the damaged drywall. I did have to have another company come out to repair the repairs and am now having those areas repainted as well. I wish he’d have just told me upfront that texture repairs were beyond his scope. I haven’t seen any issues with the exterior painting except they missed the entire back side of the pool which will be completed by another contractor.
