Being a property manager in Destin I use many vendors. Most are too high, don’t show up, or do bad work. I have especially had a difficult time with painters. I recently saw a truck with CertPro on it and gave them a call. Tony called made an appointment, showed up early and had me an estimate that day. I contracted them and they called to let me know they could do the job sooner and did what I was told by others a week long job in two days. This saved me money I would have lost in rental income. The unit was nice and the painters were very professional and every piece of furniture was exactly where I left it. I will never call another painter and I would advise anyone to use only Certapro.

If you want high quality, honesty, and reasonable prices, CertaPro is the way to go. They painted my parents house- when they did they careful moved the furniture and took care of everything. The finished job was exactly what they wanted, and it was within the timeline and price they quoted.

This is an honest review of my business with certain pro: It was a rollercoaster, at the fault of both parties, mine and theirs. Read the whole thing. Every home improvement company is busy with repairs after hurricane Michael, there's no doubt about that. They we're able to start about a week after committing to the proposal which was awesome. But as the person paying ya gotta be understanding unless you have the time to do it yourself. I was home during the repairs which probably fabricated some issues, as if your gone you would just see the end product and not the process. I hope CertaPro uses this as a constructive critique. It's not meant to be negative. Issues/processes explained: There was a delay the first day, materials we're not here and the painters showed up. There was a feeling of "what the hell is going on" as I never met with the site supervisor nor did I get any notification. Things seemed to be a little unorganized. After calling the office they gave me their full attention (despite other reviews), they explained what "should" have happened, and level heads always prevail as the next day things went a bit better. ----there were weather delay issues---- I also needed siding repairs, none of the workers really knew what we needed, and left to get supplies, I wouldn't have known they weren't comming back that day unless I called the office. Again after info flows back and forth, they were here the next day to do the work. The individuals who did the panel repair were good. Wasn't prepared to for electrical, water, or gas to be disconnected but once again go with the flow (if power/water/gas need to be disco'd the client should be advised. Gas lines cannot legally be disco'd reco'd by any party other than the gas company). By end of day things we're looking up, as almost all paneling and paint was nearly finished. At the end of the job when I saw the finished product, I was glad to see it done. A 2-3 day job took about a week, not bad given the situation Panama City is in. Pros: *when work was being done, it wasn't rushed. *The end result was as expected *Answers/explanation to questions were given *Any issues you can call the office and talk to someone or at least get a call back if you leave a message Cons: *I never knew when/if the workers would show daily *You shouldn't have to call the main office as there should be no issues. The office staff has better things to do. *Lack of information flow from site supervisor, or main office (unless you call) *Didn't mind the use of my water hose but at least put it back the way you found it *Litter around the property after the crew left (i.e. empty caulk tubes, rubber gloves, cloth/rags) which I didn't mind picking up but I shouldn't have to. *Small landscaping/stones left knocked over or disturbed. Everything listed in the cons was not necessarily a big deal for me, it just added unnecessary stress. If you looked at this in a different light a different person may not be able to go out and take care the things I took care of. All in all, info should be given not asked for. An actual plan should be supplied to the buyer AND make sure workers follow it so it doesn't FEEL unorganized. I understand/hope there is a plan, and maybe I don't need to know it, but I asked and they answered...it was a rough start. Finally and most importantly pg 4 in the proposal clearly states that after doing a look-over of the job was I satisfied? THAT IS A SIMPLE YES OR NO QUESTION. At the end of that day the answer that question is YES... with the explanation above.

AMAZING work. I have never experienced such a group of professional paint staff as I did with them. I had my entire home repainted, including the ceiling. The painters were very friendly and checked in with me daily until the job was done. I received photos after each room was complete and they were prompt. Great job on this rather large project! Each day was productive. Furniture that needed moved was shuffled without damage or paint drippings. Agreed upon work was done to my specifications and quality demands. Result was very beautiful. E-Si-E and Nelson very professional painters. Cello did perfect work fixing ceiling drywall seam cracks and re-texturing to exact match of existing texture. Willie coordinated the use of Sherwin Williams ProBlock and other products to beautifully cover existing water stains on my white ceiling. Would recommend CertaPro Painters to any of my friends for work in their homes.

CentaPro Northwest Florida delivered. Our interior painting turned wonderful, everything was put back into place and cleaned up. Highly recommend, the whole process was a breeze!

They subcontract and the company that they used was terrible and not detailed oriented. When you look from afar the paint for our exterior house is not bad but as you get closer you can see the mess that they left it in. They did not clean up after themselves. They left a splattering of paint on the bushes, patio floor, our inside carpet and even on my expensive mirror where they washed their brushes in my bathroom sink. They did not put our door bell and house number back. A job that is supposed to be a week turned out to be almost a month. I was not sent pictures everyday as promised. I was not there during their job so I think they got very slack. Cal from certapro was very convincing and gave me promises that was not delivered. They did try to correct some of the mess when I complained but not everything was corrected. Overall I am not happy and will not use them again.

I recently built an addition to my house. This was a large job with multiple contractors for concrete slab, framing, roofing, insulation, sheetrock, electrical, finishing, windows and doors. DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY!! Calvin Smith of Certa Pro Painters is a fraud! He steals your money!! He advertises with Home Advisor which is where I got Certa Pro Painters. He will not be able to advertise with them anymore. Calvin Smith, the owner thinks I forgot all about him-NO WAY! He does not hire professional painters nor do a background check on ANY of his "employees." Would you want someone like that at your house? He hires people off the street, hands them a paintbrush and told to paint. I went through two crews with this con artist of a company. My painting project was for the exterior of my home and my master bathroom. What should should have been a 4-5 day job, took months and IT'S STILL not right and Calvin Smith knows it. It's a horrible and unacceptable job. To this day, I have peeling, chipped and streaky paint all over my house and both my front and back doors do not open and close properly ever since they attempted to paint them. Calvin Smith will give you all kinds of promises and steals your money. Fortunately, I found a fabulous painter to do my master bathroom. Their estimate was even more than Certa Pro Painters but it didn't matter, they did a fantastic and impeccable job. We will pursue Calvin Smith at Certa Pro Painters for theft and fraud. DO NOT HIRE CERTA PRO PAINTERS. THEY ARE SWINDLERS. Do not let the bidder, Tony Adkins fool you, either. He puts on a charm and does nothing but lie to you.
