JGM painted our kitchen cabinets this past summer. They were efficient, friendly and did an outstanding job. The cabinets looked like they were factory finished. Absolutely beautiful. We couldn't be happier. I would strongly recommend this company.

I recently had JGM do a small job for me in my foyer. I called and was able to get an appointment for the following morning. The work performed was well done but the biggest problem was how they come up with the invoice. They sent two people out at $50 per man per hour which is pretty standard. Most people’s understanding would be the “billable” time starts when they get there until they leave the house. The total job took about an hour and 20 minutes from when they said hello, to getting their equipment setup until they left the front door. Problem here is that they charge via gps of their vehicle. After they were done, they sat in our driveway for an additional 40 minutes. When I received the invoice I was apparently charged for this. I emailed a snapshot with time stamp from our nest doorbell of them showing up and leaving. To the owners, this didn’t matter. Apparently I was forced to pay for them (2 people at 50 per hour per man) to sit in the driveway for an additional 40 minutes. Maybe this is a tactic they use to squeeze out additional hours. Again, the work was great but the buyers need to beware of their billing tactics.

The painters were quiet, efficient, and clean, and they did beautiful work. The job required matching a stained window trim, and painting a room that was previously done in deep blue, walls and ceiling, with a light color. Everything was done perfectly with no mess. Excellent!

JGM just refinished our twelve year old kitchen cabinets – they look NEW! They removed the doors, drawer fronts and shelves and refinished them, front and back, in their shop. They enclosed the kitchen in plastic sheeting and meticulously filled in little cracks and dings in the cabinet frames before applying multiple primer coats. They took care to sand between each coat and applied two finishing layers of lacquer. The results are amazing! The fellows who did the work are true professionals who take obvious pride in their work. I could not be more pleased with their work.

Furniture painting - We had a Henredon bedroom set that we purchased in 1979. We were considering replacing it when we came across a post on Pinterest and decided to have it painted to a high gloss white finish. We were referred to JGM by a custom cabinet maker. We met with John and explained what we were looking to do with the set and he told us he could do exactly what we wanted detailing the process. The results were simply amazing. (see photos). JGM is truly a high quality company that takes every step to make sure the end product is second to none - a project like this is all about not only top of the line materials but detailed prep work and application by a true craftsman. JGM refinished my kitchen cabinets AND painted my kitchen area. 2 specialized crews for 2 different jobs. Kevin & Casey did an outstanding job on the cabinets. The attention to detail is amazing. The prep work was METICULOUS. My 14 yo kitchen cabinets were repaired and look brand new with the lacquer factory type finish and subtle glazing. Ivan and his painting crew were just as attentive to the prep work and small details, prepping the walls , sanding, filling in the small defects in drywall. The ceiling lines and trim lines are crisp— I’m so pleased. Wholeheartedly recommend Brandon, and the entire JGM crew.
