We were introduced to MDF 5 years ago when our house needed to be power washed.Having been impressed with the company then, it was logical that we would have them come back to do more extensive work this time.The work included power washing, some exterior painting, but mostly a lot of interior painting along with some carpentry work. I recently chose MDF painting on a interior painting job in our kids bedrooms preparing for baby # 3!! Though it wasn't a big project by any means, it was handled efficiently and appropriately by MDF and their painters. The workers were prompt, clean, and went above and beyond to get the job done right!!! There was a small mishap with the company that mixed the paints with one looking lighter then the other and rather then just mixing it in and using the can (it has happened to me before), The painter came and spoke to me and MDF went out of their way to get this corrected!! hi I got to know mdf painting when I was working at Yale. They were chosen to paint our dorms. they did a fabulous job. I have since retired and I still keep in touch with them. they have painted every room in my house. and my outside as well. The painters Juan and Christian are fabulous. They pride in their work. IF they see a wall that needs to be fixed they can make it look like new. They clean up after themselves. If I see something that I need repainted the will come back and fix it. We have used MDF twice. Once to paint the exterior and once to paint some interior rooms. Both time MDF did a great job, despite challenging situations. The entire exterior required sanding and scraping and the interior required the removal and patching of large chipped areas. I recently had the interior of my house painted by MDF. I had always dreaded doing this project and I kept putting it off for many years. It seemed like a daunting task, but not for MDF. Literally, every room was painted: ceilings, walls, molding, and woodwork was stained. MDF tackled this project and made it seem effortless. They are very affordable and provide a stellar customer experience. Mark is extremely knowledgeable and was always very responsive to all my questions. He even taught me that paint has a Light Reflectance Values (LRV), which ended up playing an important role in the color that we selected to minimize fading from the sun. We were looking to have our backyard patio power-washed as well as our front porch and backyard fence power washed and stained. Walking through our neighborhood in OG, we saw an MDF sign and decided to give them a try. The initial part was easy and they had someone out quick to go over the plan. The second part took a little longer than we anticipated for choosing the stains, seeing some samples and starting the overall project. As we were new to this, we were looking for recommendations from MDF and best stains to go with. After some back and forth and getting through the weather delays, MDF came through great. We hired MDF to 1) paint our exterior trim and 2) paint our deck. I cannot express how much I regret hiring them. They were sloppy, unprofessional, and inconsiderate. I DO NOT RECOMMEND MDF. SLOPPY - There were more than 20 areas where the white trim paint fell on our blue house shingles. It wasn’t until we pointed out the areas that they addressed the splatter. And then, they said this was a “favor” or a “throw in”. We wouldn’t have had to re-paint any house shingles had it not been for their sloppy work. As for the deck, they missed countless spots on the flooring, spindles and railings. INCONSIDERATE - They damaged our brand new one-week-old fence by leaning their ladders against it. They left sanding disks all over the backyard. They left our windows dirty and full of bleach after a power-wash. They left our gate open every single day. They even broke a vent casing. UNPROFESSIONAL - They showed up when they felt like it and left when they felt like it, without any communication. They told us they would show up on a Sunday morning at 10am (unsolicited) and then never bothered to show up. Didn’t even call, email or text to let us know. When they returned the following day, they didn’t apologize or even acknowledge their no-show. Other times, they told us they would return in a half hour, but we would not see them until three hours later. We never knew when they were coming or not. One may wonder why this matters if they were painting the outside of the house, but keep in mind, they had to paint doors which required us to leave them open for some time and they were often painting near our windows where we dressed and slept. The crew “leader” even left a guy at our house and didn’t pick him up until 7:30-8pm. It would have been fine if he was actually working, but from 5:30 until the time he was picked up, he just laid down on our rock wall. In the end, MDF did a mediocre job. It took much longer than anticipated because they had to fix areas they messed up. It was my experience that MDF prioritized getting in and out as soon as possible. They cut corners and we had to call them back to correct mistakes several times. MDF kept talking about all the “extras” they did for us, but every single extra was a mistake they made and therefore had to fix. We even pleaded for a change in crew midway through the project as they were so disappointing and frustrating; but MDF told us they allow their crew to complete the jobs they start (who does that benefit? certainly not an unhappy customer). DO NOT HIRE MDS. Mark and Lisa talk a good game, but in the end, you will regret hiring them and ultimately be disappointed in the product, the service and the experience.

They power washed our home first and then matched the paint that we currently had on the house. A little over a week later, once they were able to start, our house looks crisp and clean again. MDF painted the exterior of our house in the summer of 2016. I can't say enough about how great an experience it was. They met with me several times before the job, answered my questions by email promptly, and even brought the regional rep for Sherwin Williams to the house for an expert opinion. They started earlier than we expected and finished the job within the time they estimated. The house looks great and there were no additional change orders because they spent the time up front to plan it out properly. When we mentioned a few minor items on our end of job punchlist, there was no need for more discussion. They just took care of it within a few days and that was it. You will NOT be disappointed if you use MDF! When a job is being done by any contractor around the house, my wife and I have a tendency to focus on the extreme details of the job. While MDF was doing work around the home (they have done two separate jobs for us so far), I was LOOKING HARD for something to "complain" about to my wife, to no avail. Their work is nonpareil. They focus on the big picture and the extreme details that are important to homeowners. That's so important to us. In addition, the degree of professionalism, execution of the job, and follow-up visit met or exceeded our expectations. I can't say that has happened to us from dealing with any other contractor - ever. If I had a business like MDF, I would try my hardest to run it similarly. They are doing something right. On top of the work they do, they are friendly. It's one thing to do a job well and then leave, but with MDF you get also relationship. In fact, I think that comes naturally to them. That friendliness runs across the chain from the folks on the field to management. It says a lot that the workers are happy where they are. They know they have a good thing. We're happy to say that I have found our lifetime contractor for painting and power washing. It gives us peace of mind. As a company, MDF is doing something right and everyone should take notice of their fine work. It's tough to come by nowadays.

Hired for the second year in a row MDF to power wash my house. I have cypress siding stained with bleaching oil and white painted trim. the crew that came to do the job were well prepared and very courteous and careful with my property. I explained that some of my patio doors will leak if the jet is directed to close to the openings and the foreman understood and took great care to make sure that we did not have water leaks. Unlike other crews I have hired in the past MDF team brought extension ladders to reach the second story siding and trim which as some points is 28 feet high. Excellent work and cleaned up after themselves. would definitely use them again next year and recommend them.

Perfect! There are 2 things that stand out with this company: trustworthy and thorough. I have used this company 3 times. Once for power washing, once for painting my deck and once for painting an interior room. The people that come out for the estimates are very nice and honest and true to their word. I was surprised that there was not a price increase when they realized how much work needed to be done in the interior room. The people that come out to do the job are absolutely the most honest and thorough people. It is hard to plan a time when you can have strangers come in to your house and paint. I could not be at home when work was done. Because I knew the owner Mark from previous experience, I had no worries about leaving my front door open for his guys to come in and do their work. MDF did great work at my rental house. I hired them to power wash old vinyl siding, 2nd and 3rd floors of a three-family house, and two porches. The first floor is stucco. They did an excellent job and the work crew was neat, courteous, careful and efficient. The crew was careful of the old stucco and the screens and when the 2nd floor porch didn't drain well the guys wet vacumed it so water didn't pool. The house looks terrific! Many neighbors commented on how good the house now looks and the tenants love the clean exterior. The price was competitive and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend MDF for power washing.

MDF was one of three referrals I received. Mike came to my house within days of my initial contact and gave me a bid, and at the end, there were no surprises or hidden costs. I chose MDF because of the level experience and attention to detail I was assured I would get. Mike and I also discussed the various paints available and what would work best in my house based on my specific requirements. After purchase of our home, we wanted the entire house freshly painted (2 floors, 2700 sq feet) including all trim and doors. We also wanted the basement walls and floor painted with an epoxy. This needed to be done quickly so that we could get moved in (we were not moving in until the work was completed). During the quote process I was impressed with the detail that Mark went through the house. He asked a lot of questions around our expectations, what we wanted done and our expectations. I was left with the feeling that Mark and his team would do a very good job. We wanted the job done as quickly as possible as we were not going to move into our new house until the painting was done. They clearly outlined the cost of labor and the amount of paint estimated. MDF was able to get very high quality paint at a great price. One week after the proposal, we had our pre-work meeting in which Mark (the owner), the job supervisor and I went through everything. Not only did we go through the details of the job, they brought samples of the paint colors I picked out and put them up on the wall. That way I could make sure I was comfortable with the paint colors prior to purchasing all of the paint. The team then started immediately. They worked through the weekend and the main two floors were completed in 6 days. It took one additional day to lay the epoxy down on the basement floor. The quality of work was great. They did a good job repairing all of the nail holes in the walls. They removed some wallpaper we had up and the newly finished walls look great. The trim was painted expertly. The crew protected our new carpet and floors. They cleaned up after themselves.

Hello, I met Mark from work when he painted the dorm rooms at Yale. I decided to have him stop by and look at some painting work that I had. My daughters' bed room my grandchildren's room. both cam out great. Very particular painters. Removes switch plates, house numbers and anything else that needs to be moved. MDF and their employees, Anthony and Luis (I believe that was their names) did a fantastic job power washing our house, walkways and patio. They were polite, courteous, professional and extremely skilled. They were meticulous in their work to ensure nothing was damaged and that every inch of the areas they needed to treat were carefully and rigorously cleaned. Their efforts have breathed new life into all our slate landings, patio and our walkways. We don’t even recognize the house – that was the biggest transformation. The people we bought the home from last year were the original owners since 1956 and I don’t think the house or the patio was ever cleaned since the day it was built. We are extremely pleased with the work that was done. These two young men should be praised and acknowledged by the company owners as they really did a stellar job – you’re very lucky to have them as part of your staff. Overall, the staff I worked with to schedule the estimate and schedule my appointment were all courteous and pleasant to deal with. Never once did I get the feeling that they were doing me a favor by taking my money. We all know that can be the case with many home improvement contractors and vendors. The pricing was affordable and competitive. Power washing is what I like to call a "quick hit" in terms price, and giving your home more curb appeal and extending the life of the materials (siding, slate/stone) on your home. It shouldn't be huge expense and in this case it wasn't. Money well spent with a company that knows what they're doing. If you can't afford to paint or side your home right now or can't afford to replace that deck or patio, then RUN... don't walk to schedule your appointment with them today!

This was our first time using MDF Painting. I had 3 painters come out to look at the job of painting the outside trim of all the windows on the house, and to give me an estimate for the job. Of the three, MDF was the most professional presentation; there were copies of the company license, insurance, pages of customer reviews, all information about the company that I could possibly want. After all three painters had come out and looked at the job, it was very obvious that if I wanted the quality that I was looking for, MDF was the company to choose. The others may have been very good painters, and MDF was not the least expensive of the three, but the professionalism of the company was so impressive in both Mark and Anthony, the painter. Anthony kept me updated as he went along, showing me what he was doing, explaining why. I would never hesitate to recommend MDF to anyone for a quality job. I was thinking of having the house power washed also, but the windows came out so great, that the house looks great without a power wash. Maybe next year!
