We looked into remodeling our kitchen and new cabinets would have cost a fortune. We had nice existing custom oak cabinets, they just looked dated. We found Franklin Painting in a web search, sent a message through the website and they got back to me within a day. Frank explained that they would paint them with a commercial grade lacquer and more or less turn my kitchen into a spray booth for a few days. I gave him a door to test the color on and loved it. When the guys showed up they were on time, courteous and they did a fantastic job!!! Outstanding.

We have known them for years and have been pleased with work they did on my mom-in-law's house in Tolland and a cottage we have in Simsbury. Our experience with Franklin Painting was beyond our expectations. They are professional, efficient and did an extraordinary job painting the interior of our home. We were able to schedule an appointment for a quote within days of our initial call, and Frank gave us a quote the same day he looked at the job. The team completed the job in two days; painted the ceilings and walls of our kitchen, living area, hallways, and also repaired and painted a bathroom ceiling. The team was polite, professional, and efficient; they introduced themselves when they arrived, verified the paint colors and areas to be painted, did a beautiful job, and literally left no trace. Kudos to Frank and his team for a job well done!!!

We had a very good experience with Franklin painting. We were selling our house and needed to get it listed fast but first needed to paint all the interior trim. It was a 1917 Bungalow with wide trim, a colonnade between the dining and living room, built in book cases, china cabinets. They worked around our moving debris and children and painted it all in just 4 days. After they left I found a few things that weren't perfect. No problem I just called them up and the crew foreman came out and made it right.

The crew were personable, professional, and took pride in all aspects of the job, from planning and preparing to painting and cleaning up. Had franklin out to remove some popcorn ceilings and repaint. They did a satisfactory job, good enough for me to write them a check, but as i looked closer, it was quite a bit more sloppy than I would expect for the price. I overlooked a few minor things, like paint on the light fixtures, and a rough texture to the paint, which I didn’t love. I did ask them to come back to address one issue, the oversprey from the ceiling left a rough texture on the walls and needed to be sanded before i painted the walls. They did come back and sand some of it, but they must have forgotten their ladder because they only got the parts cleary visible from the floor. They were clean and neat and got the job done quick, but lacked on attention to detail which is what i was looking for when i hired them.

Franklin Painting did a wonderful job. They had available a colorist who came to the house and helped us select the room colors which was a great help. They took on a huge job painting and striping walls of wallpaper from 9 rooms, 3 bathrooms and painted all the ceilings. They moved and covered all the furniture as well. They were fair, courteous and completed the job on time! When I paint my exterior, they will be painting my home.

Andy (and his associate) were awesome! Not only did they complete the job in 1 day (estimate was for 2) he went out to the paint store to get a different color paint when it was totally MY screw up - they didn't even charge me for the extra paint. Totally recommended!

The owner of this company refused to do an estimate for us after asking how many other companies we were looking at. I was honest with him and he promptly said " I don't want to do business with people like you. If you're looking at more than 3 quotes you are only looking for the bottom price" I informed him that my husband and I were new to the area and were simply getting a feel for the surrounding companies. Didn't matter, his mind was made up. I've never had a 'professional' be so rude.

Beware of this company. They will give a quote for your job but cannot provide a price breakdown of the quote. I asked repeatedly for a price breakdown of material and labor hours and the owner had no clue what that meant. I was promptly hung up on by frank himself when asking for a breakdown. He said "sorry can't help you" as I was talking and hung up.
