This is the third time I use Dero's paintings. The crew is always professional and on time. The girl in the office (Nika) always courteous, pleasant to speak with and very efficient in calling/emailing back. The last job was supposed to take 3 to 4 days, the crew (3 of them) finished it in one day (very long day for the crew). The result was excellent. I was so happy when I came home and everything was done, I wasn’t expecting that. I have to mention that the crew was very nice and friendly. Definitely, I will hire them again in the future.

Dero's is the only painters I ever call for any paint work. They prep and sand all surfaces, then prime and do an excellent job of painting on all trim, walls and ceilings. I have used them to paint my entire house, my deck, and every room in my house. They always clean up every day before they leave. I highly recommend them! They are excellent! And they do carpentry work, too. They are very reasonable as well.

I had kitchen backsplash installed. I'll first start to say how easy the process was from start to finish. Daniella was very responsive via email and clearly understood my needs. Thiago was an absolute expert in his trade of tiling. He was helpful with ideas of layout/trim etc... Worked very efficient and clean. I couldn't believe it was one day to install and the price was very reasonable compared to others I had received quotes from. I was impressed with the workmanship, kitchen looks beautiful. Definitely consider Deros for tile install. I will have painting projects coming up next year and will be looking to partner with Deros again. From a happy customer! Just had interior painting project completed. Another job well done by Dero's! Very happy with outcome looks beautiful. I can't say enough bad things about this contractor. My house has cedar shakes that needed to be sanded and stained. I met with the owner who assured me he could sand the shingles gently (so there would be no swirls), and then stain the cedar shakes. Unfortunately, the owner seems to spend most of his time doing the estimates, and not enough on quality control onsite. They used a high grit sandpaper and ripped hard into the shingles with rotary sanders (despite my warning to be on guard for this), in my opinion, to try to get the job done as fast as possible. I am left with swirls on the entire exterior making it look even worse than before they touched it, and I may have to file an insurance claim. To make matters worse, I also paid to have wood trim (around doors and windows) replaced and painted which wasn't finished. The owner showed up in the hour before the job was done looking for payment (I paid) and unfortunately, they left without finishing the painting. I sent him photos of the unpainted trim, however I have been unable to get Dero's back to finish painting the trim. My advice is to not pay unless you fully inspect the work because once he has your money, he is not coming back, even if he didn't finish the job. He has not reached out to me as his response claims. And finally, he didn't cover the windows and they are loaded with sawdust and stain which will require a contractor to use chemical paint remover on the windows. Wouldn't let him sand and paint my daughter's doll house at this point. May have to file an insurance claim now and/or hire another contractor to fix his mess. My house is now a wreck and I'm sorry I ever let him near it. Please feel free to contact with me questions.

Dero's Painting refinished my hardwood floors and painted 3 bedrooms in my house this past week. I am absolutely in love with the results! Adelio (the owner) came out and gave a very professional estimate. I was impressed with his construction knowledge and how fast he was able to come out to my home. Nika, the manager in the office, was so amazing. She was so helpful and maintained excellent communication with me throughout the whole process. I'm so grateful for her! The crew came by and performed very high quality work. I am in loveeeeee with my floors. The painters did an excellent job in all 3 bedrooms. They were very clean and very fast. I will 100% be calling Dero's again for my exterior paint job in the spring. Thank you all so much!!

Even with all the rain we’ve had so far this season, the work began on the date originally stated. We had extensive wood rot which needed to be repaired on both the trim as well as the clapboards on our house. The house was painted quickly and efficiently. The painters even returned to do an additional coat of paint (at no charge) on our exterior doors as I am a perfectionist. Great job and at a fair price. Very professional!

My initial contact with Dero's was the owner Adelio. Pleasant and agreeable, his personality sold the job. He promised that all of the work would be done in a timely manner and done correctly. We asked if he would be present during this time, and he told us yes. We have never seen his face or heard from him again. Not to be long winded, but all of the jobs felt rushed and were done sloppy. They painted a ceiling the wrong color and blamed it on me, although I sent them all of my color choices in writing and never varied from them. I found a radiator bent after they removed and replaced it, and they said it was always like that. I found the "professional painters" painting around the electrical outlet covers instead of first removing them. The hardwood floor installation ended inches short on one side of the room. Over and over they were made to redo jobs that should have been done correctly in the first place. English is a convenience they use only when they want something. If you ask them a question, or point out a problem they just shrug and walk away. I no speak the English! If I do a Google search for Drywall Contractors in my area, Dero's name does come up. They advertise themselves as professional Drywall Contractors. One of the jobs they were hired to do in our home was to tape and repair a crack that ran the entire length of our Living Room ceiling. Adelio said "no problem, we fix!" The workers hung opaque plastic over the door, so I could not see how they did the job. When they were finished the crack was no longer visible. Several weeks later, the crack has reappeared in its entirety. Obviously they just slopped a quick fix up there that only lasted until they cashed their checks from us. When we contacted Dero's, who promised us a 3 YEAR warranty on all of their jobs in writing, they told me that the crack reappearing was MY fault, as I did not supervise THEIR workers. If I knew how to do the job myself why would I hire them in the first place? Unbelievable as this seems, I have the Email from them to prove it. They refuse to correct the mess that they made. We are left holding the bag. Out of our money, and now we still need to hire someone to correct their mistakes. They refuse to do the job that we paid them in full for, and we will most likely end up in litigation. Consumer beware! Dero's has proven to be unscrupulous and without integrity. Their Customer Service is perhaps the worse that I have ever experienced. They offer a worthless warranty, because as soon as they have your money, you will NEVER see them again. Everything that goes wrong is always the homeowner's fault, never theirs. We are so sorry that we ever let them into our home.

Adelio Zaros is the owner and his company is NOT licensed with the State of CT, he gives a fictitious number out. I learned this all the hard way. He was contracted to paint the outside of my home, he had workers come that spoke no English and he never showed up on the job until I made numerous complaints regarding his workers sanding and painting my clapboard while the house was wet! He threatened me and my elderly father when I refused to pay him. He decided to take me to court and the court awarded him $0 and me $5,000 for damages that I was able to prove. To date he has paid my nothing. Don't be fooled by his cheap prices. He is a slack and an unethical individual!
