July 5, 2017 When we selected Stellar from various bids that we had, Stellar was definitely priced above everyone else we solicited bids from. Several considerations went in to making the decision of who we wanted to paint our house. We were willing to pay a premium price for a premium paint job, from a small company, family owned, and had done a good job for us on previous interior painting of our house. The day the project started Tony, Javier, and Guy (The Owner of Stellar), and I walked through the job, and I expressed my number 1 priority was to protect a brand new deck that we had just installed from paint. My number 2 priority was a good prep job on house and outbuilding, which would lead to a good quality paint job, which we were willing to pay. Not exactly rocket science here. I was assured these issues would be addressed and it would happen. We felt good about what was discussed and what our expectations were. At the conclusion of painting the house: After having 5 guys here on Friday and spending approximately 30 man hours to try to get all the paint and stain off the deck, and at the conclusion…. there is still primer, paint, and stain on the deck. VERY Poor JOB of keeping paint off other areas. After watching one of the workers paint a post that had not been primed, after bringing it to his attention, I insisted they strip the paint from the post, reapply primer and then repaint. They also had painted our outbuilding without any prep work at all. After bringing this to their attention once again, they went back and did prep the outbuilding and reapply paint. Obviously NO REGUARD TO QUALITY. At the conclusion to this, they are NOT Quality Oriented, NOT Detail Oriented, and need to be watched throughout the whole job. If this is something you enjoy then this is your company. I certainly WOULD NOT recommend doing any business with Stellar Painting!

I really enjoyed working with the whole crew from start to finish at Stellar Painting. They have good customer service and respond quickly. They were very reasonable in pricing as well. The paint crew each night was prompt and did a walk through with me everyday to review the night before work and what was ready for that night to be painted. They accommodated our paint schedule with our business hours. The crew we had was awesome and took care of our personal belongings to make sure no paint would get on anything. Everything went very smooth, we only had one hiccup with the type of sheen selected but was rectified with the owner involved. The only thing issue I have it that when they walls get touch or knocked they do not clean nicely. when you try to clean then it looks worse than if you just left it alone I dont believe that it had to do with Stellar Paintings services but the type of paint/brand. I would definitely recommend them and would personally use them again in the future.

The name says it all. Our experience with Stellar Painting has been truly remarkable. We purchased a large house which we loved but which was greatly in need of both interior and exterior painting. Stellar has painted every inch of our house, inside and out, and every inch is perfect. They even painted our treehouse. In addition to their excellent work, Stellar provided a level of service far above anything we could have imagined. We were out of state when most of our house was painted, and we were not able to see how the project was going, or to make decisions in person. Stellar, and in particular our primary contact, Jared Reeves, kept us completely informed every step of the way, and provided us with detailed enough information that we were comfortable making numerous decisions from afar. We were also very impressed with the painting crews and foremen we met. They were polite, professional, immaculate in their work, and even accommodating to our young kids wanted to watch as much as possible. Our project had a number of different components, but one of the most significant was painting our kitchen cabinets (flawlessly) which completely transformed our kitchen, and painting a number of built-in bookcases and cabinets, taking them from a glossy brown varnish to a perfect white. We cannot speak highly enough of Stellar, and reccomend them every chance we can. We only wish we had more things for them to paint!

Stellar Painting and Remodeling did excellent work painting the entire exterior of our 12,000 sqft office building in Golden. The owner, Guy, completed the estimate and delivered the bid in person. His rates were competitive and crew professional. Color matching was a breeze! Guy even went out of his way to attend our annual Christmas party months after the job was complete. The next year he performed touch-up work on the interior of our building. The job was completed in a tidy manner and clean-up was thorough. I recommend Stellar for any commercial projects. We will continue to do business with them in the future.

Stellar Painting completed a drywall repair/ windowsill repair/ paint project for me. I am very pleased with the results. I had another quote which was considerably more money and time to complete. They supplied the paint and supplies. They also were able to work on the weekend to accommodate my work schedule and finished the job. I don’t usually write reviews, but they deserve to be recognized for a job well done. The walls in this room were a mess due to teenagers living there and putting holes in the walls. It is embarrassing to say but, also the windowsill was chewed up from a dog. Stellar came in, fixed all the walls/windowsill, re-textured as necessary and painted. The room looks amazing with no traces of holes and a nice windowsill. They left the room clean so I could move the furniture back and start living! I would completely recommend Stellar Painting and will use them in the future.

We live in the Smoky Hill area and as many of our neighbors, we were hit with hail damage. Our roofer recommended Stellar painting to us. I am glad he did. From our first contact with Aramundo the field service manager, we knew we were in good hands. He went out of his way to match colors for us, and finished by telling us to call with any concerns. Then when Hugo the crew leader came out, it was confirmed we had the best. Each step of the way they asked for our opinions. They even removed rock and painted a portion of the cement foundation that had never been painted. My husband has lived in this home since 1992 and he claims it looks better than when he first purchased the home.

Working with Stellar Remodeling Division was anything but Stellar. It was a horrible experience. Quality of work was poor, billing was not monitored, no quailty control on anything. I do not recommended this company. However, some people I have known had better luck. I did not. I am now stuck with a sub-par work product.

My large stucco house was 35 years old and needed a new paint job. I solicited five proposals. One was a scam, the second was a high pressure sales job and two failed to submit a proposal. Stellar provided a comprehensive competitive proposal and was the only company that used the stucco coating that I preferred. Stellar showed up the same day that was proposed and completed the job in four days as estimated. The paint job was great and everyone I worked with at Stellar was very professional. I couldn't have more pleased.

Regarding the remodeling half of the business; Had these folks do some remodeling a few years back. Pretty decent work on the construction side. We have had to get some of the electrical work repaired over the last couple of years and the electricians who came in had to redo a fair amount of Stellars work. Recently have had issues with a steam generator installed by Stellar at the time and have discovered it was "sort" of installed properly. Reached out to Stellar remodeling and after a month or two of trading texts and calls the result was an email from the Remodeling CEO informing me that it was out of warranty (which I never asked about as I knew that,) a persistent refrain about how busy he is/was, and an admonishment that I should have called him first- which I did. So they seem to be one of those companies that do things to get the job done, knowing that they won't have to deal with the repair work down the road.

I originally found stellar off a referral list and they seemed to be one out of the five that wanted my business. Out of the five I had two that actually showed up to give an estimate and stellar was the cheaper of the two. A little over a week went by after the estimate was presented and Nick had contacted me making sure that there was not any issues due to a concern that caught his eye that he wanted to make sure was addressed. Shortly after that Guy had contacted me also showing his interest and effort to ern my business. (This was not the typical sales tactics but legitimately there concern). There had been some adjustments and going back and forth to the contract to make sure I would get what I was paying for due to bad experiences I have had in the past which that was important to me. After the job was said and done with the concerns that I have had Guy personally got involved to make sure I got the best job I could and that I was happy with the job when it was done. He and his foreman Tony went over the house nit picking the smallest things giving me a sense of accountability of their job well done. This company will do its best to be the best.

We would have been better off asking friends over to paint in exchange for pizza and beer. Not only did my kitchen cabinets, wood banister, and hardwood floors end up with paint on them. They ripped wall paper off of the dining room wall, failed to paint behind the fridge, and left us with big drips of paint on the walls that have to be sanded down & repainted to fix. One day they didn't show up at all, with no explanation until they turned up the next day 2 hours late. The explanation to me was that one of the painters had been "picked up by the police in a case of mistaken identity." He then told my husband that it was something to do with his car. Either way, the painter was unapologetic and the foreman cared even less, even though we were both having to take additional time off our jobs for them to do a terrible job. This is the worst experience I have ever had with a professional painting and remodeling company.

They cleaned up after themselves and when I had a question regarding the work on my deck, a representative came out and inspected it. Everything was handled professionally.

We had our basement walls and ceiling repaired and repainted after a plumbing leak. Our biggest fear before hiring Stellar was that we would be able to see patches on the walls and ceilings. Have to say, they did a fantastic job---we looked and no one can tell the walls & ceilings were repaired. Great Job! However, our favorite parts of working with Stellar was there promptness and cleanliness. We've worked with quite a few contractors and for the most part they arrive late and never clean up their debris/mess. Not Stellar. They are very professional. Yes, we would recommend Stellar to friends and we would simply show them our basement walls and ceilings. Only 5-Stars because we did have some difficulty coordinating estimates with our insurance company--but it all worked out in the end!

Love these guys! As a contractor, it can be difficult to refer my customers to contractors in a trade I know nothing about. I can say with 100% confidence that I will refer Stellar Painting to anyone looking for a painting contractor. They are responsive, professional and their expertise is second to none. I had a project I needed done at an office building in the DTC. It was a high difficulty, limited access project that had to be completed after hours so as not to disrupt daily operations. I used Stellar for exterior and interior painting on separate occasions. The office staff was responsive to questions and providing bid information. I was not impressed with the person sent out to provide a color consultation for my exterior project. The crew that handled the exterior work was just ok. The work was mostly acceptable, but attention to some details was lacking such as the seams between siding boards that were not prepped and the caulk ended up shrinking. The issue was resolved after a few phone calls and visits back to my house. For the interior job, I specifically requested a different crew and was pleased with the final product. The crew arrived on time and answered my questions. When they were finished, they cleaned up everything and left the inside of my house in good condition.

We bought an older home that needed a lot of work. The existing paint was a mess. There was also considerable damage to walls and ceilings. We found Stellar on Angie's List where they had very good reviews. We then hired Stellar to completely paint the interior (I mean everything) and repair the wall / ceiling damage. We also had a time schedule - the painting needed to be finished before the new carpet and furniture arrived. Stellar did a stellar job, did it at a fair price, and did it on time.

This company does awesome work and has great customer service. They painted a large condo building for a condo association I manage. The communication was excellent. They kept me in the loop on each step. Their bid came in very comparable to other companies. The work was done in a timely manner and they cleaned up after themselves every night. I would use them again and would highly recommend for any painting or remodeling work.

Terrible to deal with upfront so probably a good thing I never got my house actually painted by the. Tried to get a bid with these guys and dealing with their COO and Jared where impossible. I tried to call Guy the president and CEO and he wouldn't get on the phone. The service from this company is terrible and be careful they try and nickel and dime you. To be honest I can't believe they have a 3.3/5 rating. I would be careful when dealing with these guys.
