From the very first phone call to the completion of the job Paint Denver has been awesome! I will tell everyone I know to use these guys. I felt their pricing was fair based on estimates I received but then they went above and beyond with their customer service! After the estimate they came back out and did a color consultation free of charge! Dave really explained why colors fade, how to pick good colors, and then took what I had picked out and gave me suggestions to improve it. I loved his suggestions and I love the color scheme. When it came me to paint they were amazing at communicating when the crew would be here and the foreman, Rudy, was so friendly. I contacted Paint Denver to bid an insurance job to repaint the south and west sides of my house for hail damage. Initial contact and appt. scheduling were good, and David showed up on time. During the bid, I had them add several options (whole house re-paint and some interior rooms). David said he would get me the quote later that day or the next. I am now 3 1/2 weeks from that time and NO quote. I called David, emailed him, and called the main line who said "Oh, we will have him contact you. NO response, nadda. I struggle to find out why contractors these days come out and bid jobs and then don't respond...waste of time!

We had a great experience with Paint Denver. Travis came out for the initial quote and he was timely and knowledgable. From other reviews and his demeanor I knew I wanted to hire Paint Denver for our job and not waste time getting other quotes. We had a 1200 sq ft condo painted (ceiling included with 12' ceilings and exposed duct work). The job was completed in 2 days and everything was left clean and in order. The attention to detail on the baseboard work was something I could have never accomplished on my own! There was a small miscommunication with drywall repair but Tess and the crew quickly resolved. Paint Denver completed an interior project for us this summer, and did a great job overall. They did wall and baseboard paint for about 2,000 square feet of our home - everything except kitchen, bedrooms, and bathrooms. They did a nice job, including on the trim and detail work and a built-in floor-to-ceiling bookshelf around a fireplace in our vaulted living room. They responded quickly to a request for a proposal through the Paint Denver website. Travis was friendly and professional, and sent over a quote just hours after our consultation appointment, which was really helpful. We decided to go with them based on their availability to complete the project in our timeframe and the positive reviews on various sites. We had an administrative hiccup, but that seemed to have been an anomaly (related to someone who may have left the company). We ran into an issue when our assigned project coordinator stopped responding to emails about scheduling without any notice. After calling to inquire about the delay we recieved a new project coordinator who was responsive and quickly able to get our project back on schedule! In terms of wall paint, we have an older home and many of our walls/doors are not in great shape from accumulated painting mishaps, including poorly painted-over wallpaper. The Paint Denver team made us aware of these limitations, did an impressive job given those circumstances, and they were committed to trying to deliver the best results they could get without going beyond the project parameters/budget. They also gave us a heads up on a way we could save a bit of budget with a quick task on the morning of the project, which was appreciated. They also completed work on the anticipated timeline, finishing up in about 4 days. We'd definitely consider them again for any future projects!

Update - Summer 2018: I used Paint Denver's services again to paint a few rooms in my high-rise condo (rental property) between tenants. The painters showed up on the day promised, and the 3-day estimate of work was completed in only one-and-a-half days. Again, the work was very clean and high-quality. I didn't even get any complaints from the HOA, so the painters followed all the rules of the building during their short stay. I still highly recommend Paint Denver to anyone in need of painting services either inside or outside. ---------------------------------------- Summer 2017: I built a new home and needed it painted. At first I was disappointed that only one company, Paint Denver, submitted a bid. But after seeing the quality of their work on my home, I was quite satisfied with my situation. Rob helped me make good color choices for the interior. His crews have been with the company for many years, so they work well and very quickly together. The paint lines are crisp, and overspray wasn't an issue. I plan on hiring Paint Denver again on the next home I need painted.

They were all almost identical in terms of cost, but from the bidding I liked Rob the most and felt they'd be the most likely to meet our schedule so I hired them. I'm glad I hired them as their crew was very friendly, professional, and thorough. It was a HUGE job and Rob (the owner) came out each time a major issue needed addressed. We get tons of compliments about our paint job from guests. About a year later we got hail damage, so I hired Paint Denver again to paint the 1/3 of the house that got beat up and again they did a great job. Paint Denver did a great job of painting the entire interior of our home! All walls and ceilings were textured and painted, with even some drywall replaced. They added years back to our 1880 home. Some walls were cinder block, others were previous doorways as the house had been added on to, and almost all had holes, patches, and unsightly blemishes. The work they did completely unified the look and feel of our home. Oscar and his team did a great job of tending to this large-to-us project, and we're super happy with the results. They were also super flexible with the dates, as we had to change based on the closing of the purchase.

Terrific experience with this provider. I needed paint in the living and kitchen areas of my home, which had difficult surfaces, vaulted ceilings, and tricky stairwells. The owner came out to provide a quote within 24 hours when his teams were on job sites, just to keep things speedy for me (total not necessary, but very accommodating). Super nice and knowledgeable guy. The team came out a few days later when we had picked our colors and knocked out the work in a day - they were very professional, very detail oriented (used all the proper tools/resources to do the jop properly), and left the house clean. There was even a spot on the wall which I was in the process of repairing (doorknob hole) that was drying/had yet to be sanded, and by the time I went downstairs to attend to it the team had sanded and painted that area for me. No corners cut, even for a residential $750 job (which was a great price from my research). I also received a call from the owner that evening to check on the work, and a care package i the mail with my paperwork for my files, and a water bottle. Couldn't believe it for such a small job. Will definitely be using this company for my exterior next year.

They went above and beyond on a zillion different details with the job. highly recommend them for their integrity with agreeing to a tight schedule, for the incredible detail of their paint job, for their amazing customer service, from the paint crews to the office manager to the initial estimator, the friendliness of the paint crew and their work ethic, as well as the paint crew going above and beyond repeatedly! Here are a few of the highlights; My now wife and I were about to get married (in DAYS, not weeks). We had hoped to get our home painted before the wedding, but a previous contractor on the house was behind schedule with his work, so I didn’t think it was feasible to paint the house with the remaining days. I called up Denver Paint with the time constraint, and told them we could wait until the spring if they didn’t think it was realistic to paint the house on such a tight schedule. They sent Dave over to give our home a look over. Dave was very thorough and gave great guidance. Our house is OLD (1890) and he pointed out areas where the wood needed repair as opposed to just a paint over. With that Dave also pointed out areas where the trim could be highlighted to make it pop- our house is an old Denver Victorian where detail to the side shingles and trim really brings the house back to the way it looked years ago. Dave thought they could get the job done in a few days with some minor repairs, which was perfect. And of course, it rained on Day 1. I thought there was no way they could complete the job, but they followed up with me and said they could still make it happen. The paint crews came over earlier and prepped the house on the wet days so they’d be good to go on the dry days. And wow. Once the paint crews arrived I was sold on the quality. First, they helped my dad and I get the storm windows off the house, which was a huge help. The crew was super friendly- I even miss their singing! With the tight schedule and day lost, not only did they ask if they could come over early, but they also worked after sunset, even wearing headlamps on the last day. And this is the telling part about their work; the crew was always smiling, always friendly- and even after working late one night. With long hours you would think the quality would be bad, but nope! The next morning the paint job was so meticulous, the edges all PERFECT. No trash left behind, no paint spills on windows… it looked like they had spent weeks on the job. They finished the day guests arrived in town for the wedding, and we were able to show off our beautifully painted house to friends and family. We have had several positive comments from it- even some guys that are working on our swamp cooler asked me who did the paint job on the house, and commented on the incredible quality of the work. So, great quality of work, integrity of the schedule, amazing work ethic, stellar customer service and super friendly crews that were at the house doing the work. My final bold statement is that not only is Paint Denver the best experience I have had with painting our house, they are hands down the BEST contractor we have worked with, period. If I could give Paint Denver a meteor-shower worth of stars, I would! This is the team you should use to paint your home, no doubt about it. Thank you Paint Denver!

They also make sure to solve and correct any prior issues. In our particular interior situation we were painting over some stripes the previous owner had added to the kids rooms. Paint Denver's crew did a truly professional job on our living room, two-level entryway, and hall. Their first rate prep work set the stage for a quality finish that I could not have done myself. I am happy, and more importantly, my wife is happy. They cleaned up after themselves as if they had never been there. In and out in less than a day. Looks great! I can't say enough good things about this company! Communication and professionalism were above and beyond most companies (paint or otherwise). The interior of our home was painted with very high ceilings. They did an amazing job! They didn't spill a drop on anything that shouldn't have paint on it. They were pickier than me (hard to do) on finding any areas that they may have missed a spot. Most companies leave the left over paint but they take it a step further by labeling it in detail. I will certainly use them for any future paint jobs.

I had a really great experience with Paint Denver for removing our popcorn ceilings (minus working with Tess, but will come back to that part). The OWNER Rob and Dave were excellent. We had a unique situation where we were trying to book this job without having the ability for people to look at it in person to bid and Rob was really great to work with- we talked through the scenario and he was able to get me a good price quickly. Dave was also great- he made himself available to meet us over the weekend and even provided some painting tips! In regards to scheduling, I will agree with other reviews, Tess was a bit tough to work with- I definitely understand there are a lot of moving parts with the time of year, industry etc, but every time I spoke with her (which was about 4-5 times before the job even started), it was like she forgot all our previous convos and asked me the same questions over and over again about our timeline (also fully admitting to not reading emails I sent days before). It was very frustrating, but I'll leave it at that. In the end, Paint Denver was able to accommodate our timeline and get the job done. They (aka Gollo, the most efficient worker EVER) removed the popcorn ceiling from our entire house in just three days. He did excellent work and I'd highly recommend them to anyone else looking to do the same.

We've used Paint Denver now for 3 painting projects! Our first experience went so well with the exterior of our rental property that we immediately had them paint certain rooms on the interior while getting it prepared for the rental market. About a year later, we had them back out to paint the exterior of our own home as well. Rob, Travis, Elizabeth, and Cindy have always been professional and kept to their estimates! The painting crews have all been extremely respectful, hard-working from dusk until dawn, and on time. The projects were done quickly, they cleaned up after themselves, and any issues I noticed, they quickly corrected or touched them up. What I can honestly say, is it's nice to work with a contract company that is true to its word and values its customers. Too many other bad experiences lately with contractors that don't value my time or money, or honestly the integrity of their own work. This was NOT the case of my experiences with Paint Denver.
