We just wanted you to know how pleased we are with the work that Kirk & Matt did on our house. They were a pleasure and took time to explain what they were doing (and we had a few moments to solve the world's problems as well!) The new siding is perfect. They really cared about doing the job right and it shows. The transition section over the garage was challenging and they made it come out wonderfully. We were amazed at how fast they could do the painting - and it is a thing of beauty. We walked around the house in awe several times after they left. I’ve hired Jacobsen Bros. three times for indoor jobs, and I have been very satisfied every time. Quality matters – even for simple, straightforward paint jobs. You don’t ever want a painter to paint right over screws and electrical fixtures, or dust and cobwebs (!) just to save time. Needless to say, such basic mistakes are unheard of with Jacobsen Bros. painters. They know how to do their work, so you don’t have to. If there’s an issue, they’ll bring it bring it to your attention. They are careful to match surface texture so your walls don’t look like they have spots. They’ll point out things that you might not be aware of: for example, if your ceiling is darker than the walls, the ceiling will feel lower and the room appear smaller. They’ll also make suggestions to save you money where appropriate (if your trim looks fine, they’ll won’t recommend redoing it). If you know very little about paint, hire these guys because they’ll do the right thing without your having to worry. If you know a lot about paint, these guys have the skills to work with you on complex projects. Jacobsen Bros. considers painting to be skilled work (as it should be) and invests in training its workers. Every one of the painters who has come into my home has been respectful and pleasant to work with, and they take pride in their work. For me personally, it’s also important to support a local, family-owned business that treats its employees well. I appreciate that Jacobsen Bros. pays its workers benefits and a living wage, because that’s an investment in our community.

No Experience. Met Mark to get an estimate. He said he would have an estimate to me by cob on a Thursday afternoon. I got in touch the following Sunday since I had not seen anything in return, and here's the response: "We have taken a good look at our schedule and just a quick note to let you know we have decided that your job isn't a really good fit for our company at this time. Thanks for the inquiry. Best of luck with your project. " after hearing that it should work. I understand that things change, but I would appreciate a call back or something without me having to nudge to get the above response.

In addition to being very skilled at all types of paining projects, the technicians at Jacobsen Brothers Painting are polite, efficient, knowledgeable and respectful the homeowner's personal property. I had ceiling damage from the last snowstorm that hopefully could be repaired and repainted prior to hosting a 20 person event. It was such a great experience working Jacobsen Brothers Painting. It all starts with a real (yes live person) answering the phone each and every time I called. The quote process was super easy and provided a line item description of the work to be done. The crew started when they said they would and they ended the job when they predicted they would. Their work was done very thoroughly and is of very high quality. We had a metal railing sanded and spray painted black, the siding of the house painted with an exterior paint, and a new Therma-Tru door stained and sealed. Wow! There is nothing like working with true professionals. Matt and Kirk did a fantastic job on the exterior of our house while we were on vacation. We came back to a new house!
