Barry was recommended to us by a good friend of our who is a home builder in this area. Barry came out to give us a quote and spent a good amount of time explaining the prep and paint process he uses. He identified a few issues with the trim on our home and explained how he would address them so that the pain job would hold up to our weather here in Monument. We wanted to change the color scheme of our home and Barry had some very good advice for us to consider when changing colors. The crew who painted our home was very professional and courteous. I appreciated the little things such as how clean they kept the areas where they were working and their attention to detail. At the end of each day they cleaned up the work areas completely before they left. It was obvioius to me as I watched them work that they take their work seriously and they did a fabulous job. I've hired painters before who did the "job." This was a crew of craftsmen. Thanks Barry, Cody, Dan and Tyler!

We bought a rental house and wanted to have the dated colors painted over. We called Hemmert Painting & Exteriors, LLC for an estimate and met with Barry, the owner, to discuss the job. The brick was painted with a 1970s green stain that could not be removed without destroying the brick. Barry recommended painting over the brick and gave us a very fair cost estimate. We also had Hemmert Painting & Exteriors, LLC replace the crumbling siding and repair the soffit. Barry kept us informed on when his crew was coming over and personally came by to check the progress of the job. The crew was polite and professional and was able to prep and paint the whole house in just a few days. (The weather was very cooperative that week). We are very pleased with the job the crew did and will definitely hire them when our personal house needs repainting. Below are our before & after photos.

After a hailstorm damaged my gutters and I got my gutters replaced, the paint on the facia around my house begin to chip. I called five different paint companies, and Barry Hemmert was the only one to return my call in a timely manner.
