Excellent, beautiful results and a great value. The prep work was extensive. Everyone, from craftsmen.to managemen, to Ryan Unseth, are very pleasant people. We are quite pleased with the results and experience.

We hired Greg Unseth Painting because of their salesman. They were the highest bid,by $2,000.00 dollars for Stucco on our garage. I could write a novella on all the problems and things that were promised and not delivered. These are the absolute worst contractors we have ever hired. We were promised a porta potty so that no workers would be using our yard. It never happened and the workers did use our yard. The work from the beginning to the end was not only sub par, but amateur. They were going to put the finish coat on even after they failed the inspection, and if I did not ask to see the passed inspection, they would have been red flagged and would have had to tear it all off, and start over. They did not install the fiberglass mesh, as per our contract, until I made them do it. They claimed it was there, and I knew it was not as I was watching the process. It took weeks to get samples, no dumpster as they promised, and concrete was left everywhere. When I pointed out the problems, they came and used my tools to break the concrete without asking me. Our hose was also covered in concrete. One Friday the crew cam and dropped the cement mixer, they said they would be there to work Saturday. I did not see them until 5:45 Monday when they took it to work another job, basically using our property to store their equipment. As in another review, the pass the buck attitude is still present. There is much more, but I will cut to painting, since they are supposed to be a painting contractor. When it came to painting, the came and scraped and painted, poorly. I have read the instructions, and it clearly states to clean, prime, fill holes, and sand prior to painting on the can of paint. We hired what we thought was the best and it turned out to be the worst experience yet. I will not even get into the stone work... The job turned out okay, but I felt like the contractor, just not getting the $9,000.00 to stucco a garage. If you are not there to watch I am willing to bet the stuff I have pictured will just get covered over.

The actual work done by the painters was great. We waited over seven months to have our house painted by Greg Unseth Painting. We requested gloss paint and in three different conversations with Garret, he assured us the paint would be gloss. Due to a family death, we were out of town when the painter completed the job and we paid the invoice over the phone. We had no idea that the paint was not gloss, but satin. Upon our return, my husband contacted Garret to inform him the paint was not gloss. Garret said he had made an error and ordered the wrong paint. He apologized and told my husband that because the job was under warranty, they would come repaint the house with the correct paint. Surprisingly, sometime between Garret talking to my husband and him discussing it with his boss, he somehow “remembered” telling us about the gloss paint problems. Very shortly thereafter, Greg Unseth himself called to tell us all the reasons he doesn’t like to use gloss paint. That was the first time we had ever heard this from anyone. The paint job was already done, so we agreed to move on, even though we really wanted gloss, not satin, paint. Mr. Unseth did agree to repaint the trim at his “cost” and said he would call the next day with an estimate. He never called back and we ended up calling his office a week later. Garret told us the cost was going to be almost $1,600 (we had already paid about $7,000 for the original job). One would have thought they would have been happy to just have to paint some trim and not the whole house. We were not willing to pay this amount and were basically told by Greg Unseth, through Garret, to get an attorney. We did not get what we paid for and agreed to. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. Very shady business practices.

Very Happy with this professional service! My big thing with contractors is communication and I was communicated with from the estimate all the way to the final walk through. The paint job is beautiful and my home now finally has the updated look it has needed. I also loved that the crew also gave me suggestions on what to choose for the color of my shutters and door. Great company to work with. Will recommend them to anyone!

Greg Unseth Painting and Exteriors did a great job painting my house. Their estimate was very reasonable and they also honored a coupon from a magazine I had received in the mail. They were neat and clean. My house looks new again. Job well done!!!!!!!

I would give them 5 stars for painting, but any other work they do, I have to say less than 2 stars. The work itself is good, but the follow through and correcting wrong items is horrible. I paid a lot of money and am still waiting 3 months later for the right product to be installed. They wont take my calls, answer my text messages or return voice mails. I have given up and ordered from another larger not local company. This means I will be paying twice for the work, but I guess this is what I get for wanting to support a local small business!

It absolutely pains me to write this . I was a painting contractor for years and switched professions about 11 years ago . I met Greg several years ago and was truly impressed with his ethics and workmanship. I even adopted some of those ethics and attention to detail in my own company and did very well. Unseth painting has always had a stellar reputation . I even recommended it to one of my coworkers and he was very impressed and happy with the results. So it came time for my mom to have her house painted . I don't do it anymore and frankly dont have the time in my current profession . So who did I suggest?? Unseth of course . I trusted them with my moms house and it was an absolute mistake !!! They have no direct line of communication they pass the buck off to everyone in the company, some of which I don't think even work there . (I.e. foreman's wife??) The job was worse than letting a couple non experienced kids do the job for minimum wage. Paint spilled on the ground , lines not straight, trim paint on the brand new siding . Areas not even painted at all or painted poorly. There was a painter that were working hard and one that was on his phone virtually the entire time . Loud music playing . Mom paid the bill without even a walk through being done . I did the walk through with her and the first thing out of my mouth was ; ummm, they aren't done yet right??? She called and garret said oh yeah we are done ... really???!! I took pictures of everything . I mean drips on the windows and screens , tape left on the windows , garage light still wrapped in paper and tape . The back of the garage not even painted . So my mom complained ... they came yesterday and painted right before the rain ... good jobs guys!...then it rains ...I am disgusted how this company has deteriorated into another fly by night , sub contractor crew... there are still smudges in the siding . It's definitely not Greg Unseth quality . We appreciate the attempt to fix what should have never needed to be fixed but this is horrible workmanship for top dollar ...I never thought I would be saying this after all the years I have seen this company around , but..... stay away you will be paying top dollar for horrible work....

Greg Unseth Painting recently replaced our home windows, french doors and refinished the entire exterior of our home. Each of the crews were clearly experienced and professional. The work was always done in the amount of time promised and we could not be happier with the results. We highly recommend them.

Terry Cool

Graig Unseth painted my house and I had 5 other company's bid the work. he was clearly our choice just by there immediate response. They also did an amazing job at a great price! it was the best bang for my buck and the quality was more than I even expected they did a perfect job. I will only use them for my next projects

Jim Lewis

I know Greg Unseth Painting and Exteriors to be absolutely committed to quality and exceptional service! I would not let any other company handle my exterior jobs. They will do paint, concrete, fencing, roofing and more. A big thumbs up here!

Called and Nicole scheduled me an appointment for Tuesday May 25 at 11:00 for an estimate on painting a million dollar home in star ranch . No one showed up . I called and Nicole had no record of this and didn't remember talking to me . She said Ryan would be there wednesday at 11:00 . No one showed up . Now Greg unseth painting won't even answer the phone when I call . I would recommend on trying one of the many of dozens of other painters out there before Greg unseth painting.

Kimberly Wiggins

Highly recommend Greg Unseth Painting if you are looking for quality and a family owned company who has been around a long time so you know they will be here to uphold their warranties if needed! Great company all around!!

We do not recommend Greg Unseth for a quality paint job if you are interested in protecting your home. If you just want a color change, go for it. Pros - Very courteous and professional sales staff that is willing to spend the time helping you pick colors - Very courteous paint staff - Very fast work, a two man crew finished our home in 3 days and we have a large home - The house looks great Cons - Sales staff lies about quality of their work - I was clear with the very first thing I said is that I wanted my home protected from rain and that prep work and caulking was the most important thing to me. The salesmen continued to sell, thereby accepting and lying to me. They have NO intention to do any prep work but a power wash. - paint staff will listen to your concerns patiently and make you feel like they will address the concern.... they won't - don't bother reading the contract... they aren't going to adhere to it and after consulting a lawyer I learned that it is too difficult to "prove" they were not complying - they never scraped loose paint, not a single scrape. I have bubbling after one month - they will not caulk between wood and brick siding - I was quoted $7/ft for replacement of rotten siding. One short 2ft piece needed to be replaced. They replaced it with siding that did not match, and was not even aligned to be parallel with the rest of the siding, was not even cut to fit so they filled in the 2in gaps with caulk. They said the matching siding is no longer in production. I found it quickly at the local Lowes. I was charged $50 for this crappy repair. - cigarette butts everywhere, lots of trash strewn about after they were done, and paint drips all over our patios, sidewalks and driveway Bottom line: We do not recommend Greg Unseth. I made a massive mistake by rushing to get the house painted rather than considering recommendations from friends.

Brad Eggspuehler

Salesman was arrogant and his first words were "How busy Unseth painting is and how expensive are the older houses. We usually say 'no' to these." That was his way of saying they can't do it well and probably have had complaints in the past. After wasting our day waiting for him the good news is that we were comfortable to dismiss him within two minutes.

Angie Quist

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL!!!!!!! They came out to do an estimate and 2 weeks later I still hadn't received an estimate. I called last week and spoke with a woman that said she would have someone contact me. Still no contact. I called today and spoke with Greg Unseth himself who said he would get back to me. He called less than five minutes later yelling at me about some conflict and someone bad mouthing him, he wouldn't work for me and before I could even figure out what he was talking about he hung up on me. Real professional!!!! I called back to find out what had happened (maybe he got me confused with someone else) and again I couldn't get a word in to find out what he was talking about and was hung up on again. I'm appalled by the way I was treated and by the childish behavior from not only a grown man but the owner of the company!

Monique Habermehl

It was great working with this company. Very professional and personable from Ryan Unseth providing a quote to CJ who painted the building despite the challenges of weather in Colorado! The building looks great and we have received many positive comments from the neighbors. We also got a phone call after the work to see if we had any questions. I would highly recommend them.

CH donachy

Excellent recommendations from the estimator. Showed on time. Finished on time. Excellent quality.

King Jackson

I loved the communication and quality of there products but I didn't like there workmanship so well they over sprayed a few things but everything turd out great after I pointed everything out cleanup was ok just a little rude workers that's all but ok to work with

Jim Zimmer

Greg Unseth painting brought in a big crew and finished my large house in about 4 days! They cleaned up after themselves and did a great job. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to my friends.

The Keffels

We hired Greg Unseth to do a complete exterior remodel on our home - stucco, stone, new gutters and fascias, new garage doors as well as adding a stone/timber pergola to our front entrance. To make the job more challenging and to add an extra 'fun' factor, this project started immediately after we had re-done all our landscaping so the crews were dealing with new sod, a new stamped concrete patio and new softscape. We were very happy with the result and love our "new home". To say that our reno project created a buzz in the neighborhood was an understatement. Chris, our project manager, made on-site visits consistently throughout the project and dealt with issues immediately. When dust from the stuccoing had gotten under the plywood/plastic that had been laid to protect the patio, Chris sent crews out immediately to power wash and reseal the patio. To complete our reno project, Greg Unseth did a stone/timber mailbox to match the pergola. It was the icing on the cake! The stone mason who did the stone work was a true craftsman who went the extra mile to create a cap on the stone post that not only looked good but is functional as well. It would have been easy for him to chop off a side of the cap to fit but, instead, he cut the cap piece into 4 triangles so that each side had a finished edge and raised the middle slightly for drainage. It was obvious that he knew his craft and took pride in his work.

Donald Poole

After terrible hail storm and numerous attempts with other painters, Greg Unseth did a top notch job in a days work and a couple hours! Thanks!

Ken Mckeehan

Great service, quality work. The crew David, Cody and Dakota were extremely courteous and pleasant. I would recommend the Greg Unseth company to all friends and neighbors.

Hugh Wilburn

This is how this company does business. The work was being done across the street from my home; however i had to look at this mess for 2 days now and the driver decides to leave his vehicle parked in front of my home, with tools left overnight. My wife can"t park her vehicle there because his truck was left overnight unattended. The truck is still parked in front of my home and I have not seen the driver all day. Can't do work for me.
