I'm not one to complain and I'm pretty easy-going but when three days turns into five it gets frustrating. I understand construction is not always clock work. Maybe I should explain the job first. My husband and I have been extremely busy and had to look to outside help to complete our daughters bedroom before her fourth birthday so we called Dapp Drywall to complete some drywall and texture in her new 110 sq ft room. They gave us a fair price of $900 for labor and $50 for materials (we had already purchased nearly all other materials). Everything seemed good to go and Mike was supposed to show the following day between 9 and 10am. Which seems a little late to me but I didn't mind, if Mike actually showed within those times. The first day it was 10:30am, the second was about the same, and the third day was past 11am when he finally showed. He actually said, to my face, the reason he was late because he was hung over. Very unprofessional and considering the fourth and fifth days were past 11am as well I can only assume it was for the same reason. Especially because I told him specifically that I had plans on the fifth day (for he was supposed to be done by then) and I needed him to show up no later than 9:30am but that was ignored and he blessed me with his presence past 11am, again. He also had a poor attitude which I truly wouldn't care if the work was done as told and he didn't show halfway through the day, making my day useless. I understand that drywall mud takes time to dry but if he would have used 45 minute or 90 minute mud then the job could have been completed on time. The drywall looks fine. The texture looks fine. I'm glad it is done. After the job was completed I received multiple calls for same day payment. I requested an invoice and a mailing address and they were persistent on no mail and they wanted to pick it up directly; which seems odd to me. I decided to pay with credit so that I didn't have to wait on them for another day. David really wanted a check instead but I didn't want anymore contact and just be done with it. To wrap it up, for decent work and decent price I would never use this company again for the reasons of: lack of respect of deadlines, lack of respect for decent work hours and lack of respect for direct requests. Full disclosure: I only worked with Mike, so maybe this doesn't speak for the company but I know my experience was far, far from good. Update: I am now also having a hard time getting a invoice showing payment in full.

I had recently hired Dapp Painting and Drywall for the removal of popcorn ceiling in about 5 rooms and a couple halls. Daves the owner of the company was very frendly and helpful in explaining the process of the job description wich was alot more detail oriented then i origanaly fiquered. His company is registered with an outstanding record with the BBB and also is found in the contractors blue book. I met with Mike on the first day they started my project and we discuses his plans for the job. Let me also add anyone that has moved to Denver or the surrounding area in the last 5 years has no idea what the traffic situation has been like for the population that has been here over 10 years knows that the traffic was bad then well its a nightmare now so i do not expect anyone in the construction industry to be able to tell exactly when they will show up. Getting tools together , going from place to place to get the right materials and just pure dumb out of state drivers will all make it difficult to predicted a exact time of arival. That beeing said yea i have did a little bit of time in the construction industry when i was going thru collage so i understand the different things they deal with that regular home owners or houes wifes wouldn't get. After mike completed the scraping, skimming, patching and texter portion of the job Daved’s painters came in an finished up all the painting of ceiling walls and trim. They were very profetional and clean. I highly recommend Dapp Painting and Drywall for any job small or big interior or exterior as there price was good and there work upon completion was perfect.

We hired Dapp Painting to stain the exterior of our home. Sergio and his son were our crew. Despite having to work around this rainy time of the year, they completed our project in a timely manner. Sergio's knowledge of painting homes for over 18 years was invaluable as he gave us some suggestions and even corrected a mistake the builders made 20 years ago. His meticulousness and attention to detail resulted in our home looking better than we imagined.
