Certa Pro is awesome! We'be used them for both exterior and interior work and they've done a fantastic job both times. Omar did on the onsite visit so he could provide a quote. The quote came in lower than some of the other painting companies we were considering and he got it to us the fastest. Alberto and his team did the actual work and they were very detailed, timely, and accommodating to work with as my husband and I both work from home. We will use them again in the future, thank you!

I've used CertaPro of Boulder in the past to paint the exterior of my house. It was a straight forward job and they did it well. Recently, I ran into a problem. While my kitchen was being remodeled, the workmen ruined the floor in the entry hall to my house. It is painted cement and it didn't hold up to all of the contractors coming and going. No one seemed to know how to repair it. So I called CertaPro of Boulder. They sent out Stephen Strayer to assess whether they could fix it. He took on the project himself -- he had a rep from Benjamin Moore come out to recommend the best (most durable) paint. It took 3 colors and multiple layers to achieve the look we wanted. Stephen did a fabulous job. Honesty, I am so appreciative of him (strong work ethic and trustworthy) and his talented finished product. Thank you!

Hello my name is Tricia Madison, I am a former employee of one of your sub-contractor's out of Denver, CO. I'm not here to complain, or to tell you lies, or even expect a response for my email.... I am person of business, and from a business person to another.. I'm sure you like to know everything that goes on in your business. Thought you might respect that... To say first off, I am not a painter. Most of my career is in retail management, and on the side I clean houses. My husband is the painter and with nearly 20yrs of experience. We lived in the western slope area, and pieces of his work from Vail to Grand junction. Work was getting too slow so he looked into Denver area to find a more consistent and stable job. Inquired with Danno from dangerous ink, and was hired over the phone. Made our move and winged the rest. After his second day on the job, he offered me a position..? I'm no painter, but was encouraged to learn some skills and be part of the team. Both now employed, him making decent money, I'm at labor pay. Danno was very generous and nice at first.. Buying us lunch, giving us rides to work. Which was never asked or expected, my husband and I are very self sufficient. We would make it to work reguardless, and especially don't expect free lunches. We are both very much hard workers, always there and on a few jobs stayed late and worked weekends. I'm trying to paint a picture so you can maybe understand a little better. Before I get to the end, going to point out some signs. In conversation, one of the first... He had said, " nothing bothers him more than paying someone money that there not worth" also"he doesn't understand how all these painters in Colorado expect so much pay" as well as, every employee he had was literally just started, high turnover, And none of them had any painting experience. We were on a crew of 8, 6 had only weeks of experience including myself. My husband Kevin 20yrs and one other with 3yrs. And was left to do an important job at a hospital, tearing off wallpaper then expecting us to drywall mudding the walls to a level 5 finish? So now, you have a crew of 8 that is now drywallers and none of which have any experience in. Sensing the disappointment from Danno, the following week which I was already scheduled for... All the sudden I'm not scheduled to work at all..? When inquiring with Danno about my schedule, cause in a real company that would never fly.. He ignores me, I ask for communication and no response. I looked for another job, and got one rather quickly. And the following week he lets Kevin go.. For reason of "I feel I pay you too much" ok, his reasons... , this is cherry picking is why he has a high turn over. His business, fine...What doesn't sit right with me, is the fact that it's weeks before Christmas. And yes we are both very self sufficient, survivors. Don't employ me that's fine, I'm not a painter. But to unemploy us both.. "Because he makes too much money" Kevin even mentioned, to doc his pay rate. And again(cherry picking) Kevin just now got employed with a well known company to the area for over 20 yrs. Which was a miracle cause no one hires right before Christmas, the majority said to come inquire after the new year. And me being paid biweekly, my first check isn't till 12/31. To mention again, this message isn't to complain. I feel this could have been dealt with a lot more professionally, with more communication, and understanding.. And more humane. Kevin and I will make it through, it'll be a little rough and tough. Nothing we can't handle, cause even though we won't be able to celebrate Christmas. Not impressed to say the least. Hired CertaPro for a rather large job and they disappointed at nearly every turn. The painting crew left our home unlocked multiple times. They painted rooms the wrong colors and had to repaint, they got paint EVERYWHERE and did not clean up after themselves. They got paint on our new hardwood floors and got paint all over our new tub in the master bath. They rushed through the job and did not do a professional level/job as they were hired to do. On multiple occasions they left food trash all over our home. They did a shoddy job on many of the areas in our home. They got paint all over our in-ceiling speakers so we've had to replace those as a result. They did not clean up after themselves, leaving paint splatters, painters tape and dust everywhere. We had to pay a small fortune to have a cleaning company come in after them and clean our home and scrap off all of the paint splatters from our fixtures, wall plates, bathtub, faucets etc. Many areas have needed touch up and we continue to find "missed" spots daily. We have used other CertaPro locations before without issue, sadly that was not the experience we had this time.

We would like to give special recognition to Mario & Javier (the painters). These guys are tremendous. Our house is in the mountains, on about a 45 degree slope, with nearly 100 windows. We never heard one complaint, not even a grumble. They worked very hard, cleaned-up at the end of each day, communicated well with us, and were very pleasant/fun to be around - and they delivered an excellent paint job! I would not call them professionals. The painters rushed thru painting our house and the head painter told me that he wanted to "get to the next job as soon as possible to make more money." We had the painters back 2 times for touch-ups on their own. The production manager was on vacation while our house was being painted. When we finally got him to our house to show what touch-ups were still missed, he promised he would be back with the painters for a 3rd touch-up while I was at home. Instead, they showed up the next morning while we were at work and while they got some of the touch-ups, they did still missed some obvious spots that I had pointed out to him. I was promised several times that they would leave touch-up paint for me but they never did. I finally just bought some paint and did the last touch-ups myself. It was easier then dealing with them. They spilled paint in many spots on my roof, damaged my bushes, spilled paint on the rocks in my yard, on my deck and on my fence. I also had to pick up trash they left behind in my yard.

Used CertPro to re-stain my wooden decks and re-paint my garage doors following a severe prolonged hailstorm. Crew was highly professional. They reviewed the work in detail before starting to insure we were in agreement on exactly what and how the details would be painted or stained. They worked constantly to make certain that their work would be satisfactory and asked me to review their work as they completed each stage. Doing this before their cleanup allowed me to easily point out any areas which I felt needed an extra touch of paint or stain. They were very careful to tape areas so I had no problems with any paint/stain beyond the required areas. I would definitely recommend their work.
