I do not appreciate the way they do business and handle customers. I had an appointment scheduled for today at 4pm when the estimator did not arrive I contacted the company to see how much longer the wait will be. The receptionist stated he already came I advised her that was not the case since I’ve been home all day. The receptionist she stated she would have the estimator call me back with their pending arrival time. A few minutes later the receptionist called me back stating the “you missed us” slip most of blown away and if we could reschedule for 4 days later. Do you really want a company who can’t keep simple appointments to work on your home/business?

We had our interior house painted that left paint on our carpet. The result of them getting the paint out left MAJOR stains directly in the center of our main living area that was worse than the paint itself. They couldn't correct the stains so they offered next to nothing in compensation and was told its because our carpet had previous wear. Would NEVER use this company again or EVER recommend them.

Great job. I am very satisfied at this point, a few weeks after the completion. This was a big project as we have a fairly large Santa Fe style home that is multi-storied, stucco on frame with lots of wood vegas, corbels and lintels, etc., that required a great deal of prep work, as well as painting.. As common we interviewed several paint companies with thoughts and bids on the the project all over the place. We liked Trea's (Paint King front man) view of the project which was very practical. Additionally PK's expectation of 6 days was the most reasonable in time and money. The two employees they sent, Alfonso and Enrique could not have been more respectful of us and the property. At the end or each day it was like they had never been there except for some strategically placed equip,met or materials they asked for permission to leave. And they were highly skilled painters as well as Alfonso did a super job of patching some stucco. And they worked very hard to do a thorough job and still complete the project on time. Great workers!

Very disappointed! Job was bid as a 3-4 day job. It took 1.5 weeks to complete. We had to point out numerous issues to get them done - base boards not painted, ceiling touched with roller, insufficient coverage. We were told the job was done, went to the house, blinds weren't put back up, curtain rod bracket had been ripped out of the wall and the holeneeded to be patched. Paint is everywhere, tile, carpet, front yard gravel. Everything was finished but after multiple phone calls and trips out. Craigslist would have been better!

Wow! Scott & Adam were definitely the A-Team. They were very respectful & professional and did a fabulous job. I was especially concerned because I had just had a bad experience with a painter who painted my interior and made a huge mess of my newly installed windows. So when the estimator Tom came by to review the job, I told him I did not want to repeat the experience. And the windows were not compromised by Paint Kings. The proof of the professionalism of this company is the final walk around. I found many areas that needed touch-up (typical after any paint job) and Scott & Adam were very accommodating, touching up, removing paint splatters , adjusting motion sensor lights & protecting the nest of a dove who was sitting on eggs in the work zone. I could not have asked for a better team to paint my house. Accolades to this company and this team.

The guys who handled the prep work were sloppy in their taping of my windows, causing my new window frames to be sprayed with paint. The paint had time to dry before I discovered the problem, and it was a mess to clean. I also asked them not to dump buckets of water with diluted paint in my yard but they did it anyway. The guy who did the spraying seemed competent, but the paint went on thinly on the wood ceilings of my porches, almost as if the paint had been thinned with too much water. I will never hire them again or recommend them to anyone.

We hired Paint Kings to do some interior painting in our newly purchased home. There was some confusion about the trim color used, but Trea Smith was quick to send out a second crew to repaint with the correct color. The finished job looks great.

Brian and the team were top notch! I called Brian for an estimate and was pleased with the estimate as it was less than I thought it would be. He had to reschedule his team due to some rain and winds and kept me in the loop the entire time. There was never a question as to “is the crew going to be here today?” The crew was professional and on time. Due to some winds they decided not to spray on day 1 but they did all the prep to get a jump start on the next day. They completed the job on time and I am very pleased with the final look on the house.

I called last week to ask them to look over two painting jobs (interior) in my Marana home. I'm out of state. They said they'd stop by last Friday at 2pm.Paint Kings said to expect an emailed quote by Monday 20 FEB. I checked in with my tenant and he said he was fine with the service visit. I have still not received a quote. I called the number and got a person who kicked me to voicemail. Is this what counts as good service these days? I'm not impressed. I call this bad service. UPDATE: I'm moving this to 3 stars because one of the principals or owners called me and discussed the quote. I'm going to give them a shot and post a final score when the work is done and reviewed. Final update. Work was done well. Moved to 3.5 stars.

When it comes to hiring out contractors, we are extremely careful in who we choose. After having a complete house reno back in 2007, we'd dealt with a few who were, frankly, out to get as much money as they could for very shoddy workmanship. It made for a frustrating experience. We did as much as we could on our own, like painting, until I came down with a chemical allergy. We began looking for a company who could finish our painting project and chose Paint Kings. The crew they sent to our house (Ramone and Jose') were not only meticulous painters, they went over and above to make sure the entire job was done well. They were excellent, and we don't use those words lightly. Trea Smith, thank you so much for standing behind your words with integrity and for sending a crew that did an outstanding job for us! We have and will continue to recommend your company.

Response to owner feedback: How does your warranty cover work that was paid for but NEVER DONE like pressure washing the house and preparing the painting surfaces properly BEFORE painting. I paid for work in good faith and your company failed to provide all of the services that were promised. Original Review: Work wasn't done according to the contract. Paint is starting to peel after a few months. House wasn't pressure washed as stated, wood was not prepared before painting (painted over old peeling paint on wood). Didn't paint all doors and had to be pushed to complete them. Paint found on outdoor furniture (cushions were turned over to hide). Screens on all windows not reattached, realized that when they blew across the neighborhood. Discussed the various problems with estimator when they came out to look at peeling paint, they admitted the paint was peeling because they didn't pressure wash the house, and said he would talk to "Mike" about issues, never heard back. We paid a lot for work that was not done correctly and as promised.

Had a very pleasant experience with my recent House painting project. David, and his crew (Chauncy, and Dillon) from The Paint Kings arrived in the morning and immediately put my mind at ease when we walked around the house to assess the job. It was very apparent they were very experienced, and kept an open line of communication with me the whole time. After assessing the job, they immediately began prepping the windows, driveway, patio floor, and any area that could be susceptible to over spray. They took great care in protecting some delicate hanging neon signs I have mounted on my outdoor bar walls. They started on one side of the house and after painting that side they asked me to go take a look and see if I had any questions or concerns. They did the same when the overall job was completed. I honestly couldn't find one area that needed touch up. I am very pleased with the job, and that I chose to go with the Paint Kings. I would have given them 5 stars, but they painted over some nails and screws instead of taking them out. They also got some paint on our nice wood blinds. Those are really the only two negatives. When I got the estimate from them at the house, he really took the time to go through all the details with me and asked a lot of questions. He also showed me ways to save money and do some things myself which I really appreciated. They painted the whole bottom floor of our 3400 sq ft home and the upstairs master bedroom and bath. Their quote came in a tad higher than another painter I was going to go with, but I gave Paint Kings the job because I just felt better about the initial consultation. I'll use them again.

I have to say this is the worst paint company I have ever dealt with. Called and spoke with someone there at great length about painting our house and she set me up with an appointment, great. My appointment time came and went and no one showed, so I called to ask what happened. The one who answered the phone was clueless and offered no such help and acted like it was my fault and she didn't care. She said I had no appointment at all on their schedule. ??? She did offer to make "another" appointment for a week out. No thanks, they don't care about their customers then I will just take my business to one who does.

If I could, I would have chosen 0 stars. This company was the contractor for our neighborhood when the houses were built in 2001. I was scheduled to do a walkthrough the day before the signoff. I came after work so the house was.a little dark inside. Fortunately. I brought my Uncle with me who was a contractor for years. He stood and looked at the walls sideways (not facing). What we saw was uneven (very light in some places and darker in others) on the same wall! The outcome was that I called the builders representative and told them I would not sign until completely repainted inside. They had Paint Kings come out and they repainted within 24hrs as it should be done. If I had been by myself I would not have noticed this until I was in the house when the light conditions were better. They made good on the work but that does not excuse the very shoddy workmanship. I would never recommend and have told lots of people about this event.

First of all it should be known the only reason they're getting one star because it won't let you submit with zero Stars. of any company that I have ever witnessed perform a service that was tangible, this is the worst job I have ever seen from any company or person or people. The least professional job I've ever seen in the least professional people I've ever dealt with. They are rude their inconsiderate and quite honestly I think horrible at their job. Maybe it's just a small section of the company but they sucked. If you look at their various aspects of painting a house, they didn't pass in a single category. For example, did they put on and use sufficient amounts of paint? A better question would be did they get paint on your house or around your house and was it where it was supposed to be? They painted with one layer no cross rolling or spraying. You can tell that it was just going over quickly. But that's the good areas because there's areas they just flat missed entire areas and chunks or they didn't bother to tape an area down so they basically just sprayed wherever they wanted fortunately mask off Windows because I didn't feel like it apparently. I will provide a few pictures here and provide an additional picture on a daily basis. Either I will get tired of food posting the pictures or I will run out of them but either way there should be a picture posted daily for the next several months. another aspect, did they clean up? Absolutely they did a great job of cleaning up their tools and taking them with them but not of cleaning up the mess they made. There is paint on my flagstone. There is paint on the cement. There's paint on the window sills. There are chunks of paint and plaster that they poured in the middle of my yard. There's paint all over the rocks that they decided they would dump the paint in two. There's even a trunk or a lump of paint on one of my lights in the side yard. By the way, if you're thinking do we have a confrontation? No I actually didn't speak to them until after they were done with the job. It was my mother's house. I recommend one thing as far as paint Kings goes... Don't use them. You're better off not having a freshly painted house. You better off to do it yourself. One more thing, it should be known that I have done about 5 or 600 reviews and this is the first one that I would consider truly negative. Not all of them got 5 stars but this is the only one that's received 1 star ever. They came back one time. I told Mike that the paint was still not cleaned up, nor were the buckets that were still on the roof. Guess what, the buckets are still up there. I'll have to do it myself. We paid to have the deferred damage repaired. For example, we paid several thousand extra dollars for the parapets to be fixed. Paint king acts like it's an inconvenience to do the job right. We are hiring a professional to fix them again as the roof leaks from the parapets. Is that their claim to going "above and beyond"? I have a feeling the judge will agree with me, that when you cause a roof to leak (they even put a 4" x 4" hole in the roof), when it wasn't leaking before you arrive, and does after, is that professional? I sure hope not. At least a teenage kid who is working for the summer would pick up their soda cans, paint buckets, t-shirts, etc and not pour stucco or paint or something in the middle of the p-gravel in the front yard! Paint Kings did an excellent job painting. Trey did excellent job in relaying the quote and information. The only downfall we had was the mess that was left behind from painting. The wood floor and kitchen flooring had paint spots on them, and there was trash left behind. This would be the only negative I would have to say.

Very professional. Good ole American workmanship. Our patio and rafter was in pretty badly beaten shape. PK's quote was not the cheapest but the company scraped the paint versus power washing the patio ceiling which I preferred and put bonding material to fill the void. On the day of the work, one of the painters was a no-show and the main painter worked his butt off and did quality work. Recommendation is to be on site because not everything agreed by the sales rep was communicated to the work crew (e.g., patch hole and painting the conduit as agreed). However, it was all done in the end and quality is very good. Office staff was professional and they even called after the work to check up on the work and asked permission before charging the final balance. Nice job PK!

The paint job was fine, but there were paint splashes on some of the carpeting that did not come out even with Stanley Steamers work. also there were some painted areas that should have been better masked (door hardware etc) I liked the crew as they were friendly. It is hard to gauge how hard someone else is working but there seemed to be lots of breaks. Had some miscommunication that resulted in additional cost on the day of arrival. Takes two to communicate so part of the error is mine for not double checking. All in all favorable but there were problems.

Recently had the outside of our house painted after some major construction was done. The painters did not tape off anything, it was like they got a sprayer and just went to town covering everything such as the hose nozzle and the side walks and the plants. Not to mention the painters STOLE my fathers new ladder and left their broken paint covered one in replace of it!!!! When we called them they said they dont know what we are talking about. Terrible company! Do not trust or use!!!

Paint on bathroom tiles and new walk in paint on top end in many places. kitchen cabinets also. Doors were left with too much paint and shut so 2doors and 1cabinet stuck closed. Thanks for parking in front of my house and refusing to move while I was receiving deliveries, It was the perfect thing to remind me of just how bad of a job you did inside and a review is really worth the time. Too bad still no 0 rating. Complete waste of time and money. More interested in dripping paint on the carpet and tile, while not cleaning it up, them actually painting well. Paint so watered down coverage was an issue, and matching the finish is IMPOSSIBLE. Painted dirt to the walls, for that long lasting sand paper feel. Save yourself countless hours and find ANYONE else.

We highly recommend The Paint Kings. They are professionals, licensed and bonded, and their workforce is efficient and friendly. We had several bids for painting the entire outside of our 2900 sqft house plus two large attached patios. Paint Kings came in at a lower price than others. But the best thing was that they did an excellent job. One young man (Cole) did very careful preping to make sure paint didn't go where it should not - like windows, patio floors, plants, etc., while the 2nd painter (Eric) sprayed the paint with skill and care. The whole job took just 3 days. Our house now looks like new. Thanks to Paint Kings - a professional establishment.

They came out and painted my house and wall around the backyard. Trea came out for the quote and he was very knowledgeable and friendly. I had paint color issues from the previous paint that was used and he knew exactly what the problem was (the brand of paint). They also patched up some cracks in the stucco. Extremely professional and they did a great job. Quality work, besides the new paint you couldn’t tell they were even there. Extremely reasonable cost too. Great value, highly recommend them and I would use again.

We were concerned with how the paint was drying in different spots and we asked them about that and they reassured us it will dry completely and look different. Paint Kings did a great job. The finished product matched the quote and I have gotten a lot of people saying the house looks beautiful. There was a little confusion about the color of the garage and they redid it right away. The person doing the quote thought it would be 4 days, then the painters came out and thought 5, then they finished in 3 and stayed late to do so. My dogs are very glad! They didn't put any of the patio furniture or items back where they found them and didn't caulk the holes that they took steel wool out of (blocking bees) so that's why 4 instead of 5 stars. Might have just been miscommunication on both parts, but I would think those things would fall to the business to be clear about.

I called to get a quote to have an interior door painted. The person who answered the phone had a very rude tone and was short with me. I was told they "wouldn't even come out for that, it would be a wasted job". How rude! She could have said something like "I'm sorry miss but our company has a minimum requirement for work..." or something nicer!

Had our home painted today and was very pleased with the service and professionalism. The crew arrived early, did a walk around, and got right to work. Within 6 hours had the job completed including painting the stucco "pop outs" a different color. They walked around the property several times looking for flaws and verified we were 100% happy. Good price and good service will keep me going back.

I hired Paint Kings because their price was the best, the paint job wasn't. The contract says that the house would be prepped prior to painting ( if needed ).....I guess the painters felt prepping the house wasn't needed. I thought it did and if I had known this I would have prepped my house the proper way, some things were painted that should not have been painted and I'm finding more discrepancies now that they have finished. I feel that the job was done quickly and hastely so the painters could go on to the next job. I would have taken more pride in my work had I done it myself. I'm not dancing either......

Let me first start off by saying that prior to calling this company, I had already called three other companies and not one person answered their phone. Paint Kings answered their phone on the first ring. The estimator was prompt, gave me options that fit my needs and schedule, as I was moving from a house I sold to a house I had just purchased and was short on time,and I received my estimate back the same day. I was able to schedule my paint jobs quickly and they worked around my tight moving schedule. The painters were clean, courteous, and respectful. I will recommend Paint Kings to anyone who wants a professional painting company with great prices. Don't even bother with the phone book you will waste your time and no one will answer.
