They were ok. It was hard to find a legit painting company in Tuscaloosa but after several quotes we ended up using Fresh Coat painters. The reason for the 3 stars is due to the length of time it took them to complete the job. We had a split level home that was fairly difficult to paint (I couldn't do it myself as I was 8-9 months pregnant at the time). We hired them on February 4th and the job was not completed until April 1st, so 2 months! I had the baby before they were done! Now, weather did play a roll in the delay but only 2 people would come out and work for a few hours at a time, I would have to send a demanding text to the owner in order to make any progress on the house. The quality was ok, but for the amount of money spent I could've done it myself or hired some rando down the street. Not to mention they left the hose running multiple times so our backyard was flooded, they splattered paint all over our back driveway, patio and grass. It was just a mess and a pain to deal with them and I would not recommend them.

Company rep very prompt, courteous and made sure he knew what was important to me before he even began estimating the exterior staining of my cedar house and deck. I had a rental property that needed an interior painting overhaul. I engaged Fresh Coat Painters of Tuscaloosa to quote painting and Jim was fantastic. He put together a detailed online quote that allowed me to add and subtract services room by room to fit my budget rather than giving me a number out of the air to see if I would bite like most work I've had quoted in the past. He also posts all licenses, insurance, and credentials with the quote so obtaining that information is never an issue. Finally, he kept me posted of progress on the job to ensure my satisfaction. For anyone that has had any type of construction work done, that is very hard to come by. Highly Recommend!
