Just got back from getting my glasses. Steve is super talented and works harder than anyone to get your glasses to be perfect. My glasses are antique Windsors. I wouldn't trust these to anyone but him to work on. I highly recommend him. I have been a customer for a few years since I needed glasses but my husband has been going for a very long time and says the glasses he got at Steve's are the best. I got my frames from Steve and they are amazing. Terrific condition even though they are antiques.

The Spectacle Emporium carries an impressive selection of eyeglasses spanning a history of over two centuries, from American Revolution to hyper modern stylish frames. I was looking for vintage 50s or 60s frames, and Steve had just what I needed. Beyond the remarkable selection, Steve also possesses a tremendous wealth of knowledge about the history of the items he sells, and he is an encyclopedia of information about historic Laramie. I learned so much about the history of our town during my visit. The prices are very competitive, if not more affordable than other options. I have state government insurance, but with or without it, I know for fact that I spent less on my frames and lenses through the Spectacle Emporium than I would have had chosen another local option. Steve had lenses in my frames ready to go in a matter of a day or two. Buy local, and don't cheat yourself this experience. I couldn't be happier with how I see and look. Thanks, Steve!
