I spent a few hundred dollars in this store and I feel totally disappointed and dissatisfied. In my opinion their customer service is much below my expectation. Even though I spent a few hundreds, I don't even use the sunglasses that I bought from this store because I found a much better option in another store with a much better price. This store didn't seem to have the most recent products to me. I even found them very rude in answering the questions. I was asking questions about sunglasses and the older lady seemed very upset and rude and unwilling to assist me. I found much better options in another store with better customer service. I had a lot of problem asking them to cancel my order and return my money. They were not very helpful in returning and reimbursement. I don't recommend this store to any of the friends.

If you want great service then Ulla Eyewear is where you go. I am a corporate pilot. I’ve been going to opticians for years and never been quite satisfied. My bad experiences…I could write a book about. After 2 tries the optical techs at Ulla Eyewear came up with a bi-focal lens in the center of the eyeglass, thus allowing me to see the instrument panel clearly and distance on both sides and above. They really knew the right questions to ask to get to the heart of my difficulty. I think the frames are quite stylish too, thanks to Margo’s help! These guys go above and beyond to make sure you leave satisfied. Ulla eyewear is just top tier. I walked away happy, and I’d recommend them to anyone!

I have been using glasses and lenses for a long time and have been in different stores for my eyes. I really like to share my experience with Ulla. This store was the most unreliable store that I have been. They have a good collection of glasses, but there are other stores that have those glasses as well. I was in the mall and decided to stop there. Even tough I spent a lot of money at Ulla in Madison, as a returning customer I found them the most unreliable store that I have been for my glasses/lenses. Customer service in this place is beyond awful. I personally had experience with couple of ladies there (prefer not to mention their names). I don't feel comfortable spending money there because they are very unreliable and have very poor customer service.

I started shopping at Ulla several years ago and keep going back. They have unique frames and are very easy to work with - friendly, patient, kind, knowledgeable.. tow negatives preventing a 5 star rating which I don't think they have any control over. A bit on the pricey side. Second, if just getting new lens, your frames generally need to shipped off to ensure that the lens fit. This required getting a 'spare' pair of glasses. I will still continue to use Ulla for my eye wear.

I bought a pair of glasses from Ulla last March. I have worn contacts for decades but have had difficulty wearing them since I have gotten older. Since I have been wearing my glasses I have received so many compliments on my them that I don't mine even wearing them. Great place for distinctive eye frames.

We have always had excellent, personalized service from the professionals at Ulla, and the selection of glasses is current and fun. As longtime customers, we have rarely had any issues with the glasses we’ve purchased, but on one recent occasion, a pair of sunglasses arrived from the manufacturer/lab with a defect in the lenses. Ulla inspected the glasses and notified us immediately of the defect, then advocated on our behalf to obtain the (defect-free) replacement pair on an expedited schedule which met our needs. It’s this attention to detail and caring attitude toward its customers that keep us coming back to Ulla year after year. We love the fact that Ulla is locally owned, too!
