I have been a customer of Eye Care Optical for over 20 years. I spend quite a bit on glasses since I have several different styles of Oakley prescription sunglasses, prescription safety glasses (WileyX), & occasional contacts. I believe the company may have been sold to new owners? I went in to get an eye exam & a few new pairs of Oakley sunglasses this summer. The man behind the counter was so rude, I left & never went through with my appointment & told them I would "re-schedule". Oddly enough, my wife went in to get an eye exam for one of my daughters & she came back & said this same large man was rude to her as well, even know I never shared my experience with her. Our whole family has now switched to a different optical company in West Bend, I doubt we will ever step foot into Eye Care Optical again due to our shared bad experience. It is too bad because I really liked their selection, but with as much as we spend on glasses, we do not need to deal with that. I have since heard a similar story from a friend of ours, so I doubt this company will continue to be around much longer, unless they get rid of this guy or try to change the way he treats their customers. Luckily there are 6 or 7 options in the City of West Bend, so it was not a big deal to us and we love our new optical place.

Dr Zaporski was fantastic with our 8 year old son. He was nervous and scared, but by the time he walked out he was smiling and asking how many more days until he gets his glasses!

This is the best place ive ever gone for my glasses . I used to go to vision works because they are a chain and you would THINK that they would have well trained staff. Well, they don't. I pity anybody who goes there. They were unkind, untrained and overall didn't know what they were doing. If I could give this place 6 stars I would. Highly recommend!!!

Was able to make an appointment for my husband the same week I called. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Dr. Zaporski is super sweet and knowledgeable. The owner is very personable and genuinely interested in our needs. I highly recommend this place.

I really loved the staff. They were very helpful and i especially liked the lady with the short curly hair. She seemed to be very knowledgeable about everything and helped me find the cutest glasses!

My 60 year old mom went in there yesterday and asked to have her pupillary distance measured and a make employee asked her "Well are you a client here?" She said "I might be depending on if I see something I like." The man then told her that he would charge her $10. My mom said "But it will only take a couple minutes." He reply "I don't care." She decided to see if Vision Works next door would do the same. No, they were happy to accommodate at no charge and it took less than one minute.

The epitome of customer service.. Rob, along with the entire staff, went out of their way to provide me with excellent service. I had an issue (no fault of Eye Care Optical)and Rob took it upon himself to contact my insurance company and provide me with an outcome that was beyond my expectations! The care and service I was given was excellent! The exams were thoroughly explained and done with care. All of my questions were answered. While picking out glasses, it was turned into a fun experience. The billing was made simple. When I picked up my glasses, they made sure my glasses fit perfectly. Not only did they provide me with cases and a cleaning kit, but they alerted me to the free services that I get throughout the life of my glasses. Everyone was kind, thoughtful, respectful, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of eyecare.

The service at EyeCare Optical is outstanding. When I received my new glasses, I had a problem with my vision in one eye. They had one lens remade and now my vision is perfect. The owner took extreme care in fitting my glasses to make sure they are comfortable. EyeCare Optical also has a great selection of frames.

Books an appointment for me 2 weeks out without looking to see if my insurance works through them, then they call 2 days before the appointment to find out. I could have probably gone to another place by now, instead they waste my time. Not to mention whoever answered the phone was very condescending and made me feel like I was an idiot cause I wasn’t sure who my eye care went through. Edit: Since I got a reply I would just like to say, you don’t really look any better by just responding on here calling me a liar. I booked my appointment and talked with some lady, then a guy called me back 2 weeks later. When I called west bend optical and said I didn’t know my insurance they looked it up right away. I never said that I forgot my company was bought out, I switched 2 jobs since then how would I forget something like that. Appreciate the response really shows you care.

I've been going to ECO for a few years now and I could not be happier with the experience. Every time I go there I am treated like family. The staff is very knowledgeable, courteous and listens to my needs. They always have the latest in product trends and help me find the right glasses to fit my style and look.
