Overpriced and nothing special- avoid at all costs!

I have to say... I am shocked by the low Google reviews people have given Eye Candy. I had nothing but a fabulous experience with them. I bought two pairs of eyeglasses. I have yet to pick them up, but I don't anticipate any issues. Andrea was super helpful (picked out 20+ pairs of glasses for me to try on, called Pearle Vision to get my prescription, and is getting me an itemized receipt to submit to my insurance company). She understood my style and was very patient while I hemmed and hawed over my decision. The selection of artistic, stylish glasses is out of this world, and I honestly will not shop for glasses anywhere else (other stores are so BORING!), and this is the only eyeglass store I would recommend (I've never been so excited about glasses in my life). If you want to stand out and feel special, then go to Eye Candy.

I had been looking forward to stopping by Eye Candy and took a trip way out to a Delafield. “Oh those look GREAT on you!” said the staff member that helped me. No matter what I tried on. I immediately lost faith that they would put me in glasses that looked good on me. Obviously commission based. Their only-sell-a-frame-once/no refund/no insurance accepted policy doesn’t really work for those looking to take time to make a decision. The frames chosen for me to try on verged on the absurd and ridiculous. Other optical stores will write down a frame make and model. Here, they chastise you for documenting and then don’t provide information for you. To top it off, the staff tried to sell me sunglasses. I wasn’t looking for sunglasses. I don’t trust this business, staff, behavior or policies. I can get better frames and service somewhere else. My visit was quite disappointing.

My son (age 4) required bifocals to fix an eye that turns inward. The bifocals needed to perfectly bisect the pupil — and Eye Candy got it exactly right. The ophthalmologist even wrote down their name so she could recommend them in the future. Also, excellent and friendly service after the sale, replacing scratched lenses for free under warranty. And finally, my husband requires a difficult prescription for one eye, and they cut his lenses to somehow fit a “frameless” pair of glasses. He was thrilled. Not going anywhere else!

LOVE EYE CANDY!!! I have a petite face and it use to be hard for me to find frames to fit me, not anymore. Eye Candy offers a huge select and had many frames to fit me. Nice quality frames and lens. Owner Paula was great in helping me pick out frames that were funky and fun. Great experience!!

They are nice there. But paying $300 more for glasses than at other stores and waiting for glasses when I can get them at Lenscrafters in an hour ..... not worth it. Please note: I am not exactly all that fashionable - so ....

Wonderful experience with the staff at Eye Candy for both my glasses and my daughters. They do an excellent job working with young children and getting them to try on glasses and fit them for the child. Their frames for adults are fun and unique.

Paula was awesome to work with. She listened well, and did just the right amount of encouraging me to move out of my comfort zone with a new pair of glasses. She was honest about what looked good on my and what didn't! Was very good as selecting frames that fit my face and educating me at the same time. would love to work with her again.

My experience was great until I called on the phone to find out more information about the Rudy Project sunglasses I was going to purchase. After spending an hour in the store with the clerk, Andrea, who was very helpful, the woman would not help me over the phone. She simply stated that I needed to come in the store. Lost my business at that point. Mike Slimmer

Just make sure you are absolutely positive about wanting to purchase from Eye Candy. I went in on a Saturday, and it was getting close to their closing time. I had somebody helping me pick out frames. I chose two. Please understand that I hadn't even had an appointment with an eye doc at this point. They had a lens sale so I wanted to get in on that. I was shocked when I payed and my total was over 2000.00. On the bottom of the receipt it does say No Refunds. The following Monday, I called and said I only was going to go with 1 Pair. She (Paula the Owner) told me that there were absolutely NO REFUNDS. Please keep in mind, that they had my money, and I had nothing. No lenses, No Frames, and still no Appt. How can they refuse to refund my money when I had absolutely nothing. She assured me that it was perfectly within their legal rights. She said I could take just the one pair, but I would not get any money back.. Again, I had nothing, they had done nothing but take my money. I can assure you that this woman is our of her mind. I wonder how she will feel when karma bites her in the ass. They still have 45.00 of my money, which I of course have to spend in their store... Never trust this lady. I guess she is a legal thief???? I caution all of you to think twice about shopping here for your eye glasses. There are many different places that you can shop. A very sad and costly experience for me. But who would think somebody could keep your money for something you didn't have????
