Optical 101 is the best! The staff and doctors are friendly, personable and efficient. If you need an eye exam, glasses or sunglasses then they are your place to visit.

I recently choose to go to Optical 101 for my annual eye exam after the quality service I received when purchasing new frames there in 2013. I saw Dr. Brugnoli, where the eye exam was very in-depth and by far one of the best I have received. While finding frames, expect the rest of the staff to be just as delightful and helpful as Dr. Brugnoli - they definitely make the difference. One issue I always run into is the lack of Men's frames, but fret no more, they have a nice selection of high-end frames for Men (from RayBan and Oakley to Prada and Gucci) and an extensive collection of Women's frames as well.

My daughter is 21 and no Insurance and yes I'm trying to find her a doc.. walmart messed my eyes up by not making the Lenses w astigmatism..I got the worse u can get..my daughter has a tiny bit of it..her lenses got bubbles all threw them.. walmart said it's fr hairspray??WE DO NOT USE HAIRSPRAY EVER NEVER..HER GLASSES R SO BAD AND SHE CAN NOT SEE . WALMART TOLD US $90 FOR VISIT?WE ONLY PD 56$ B4..HER VISION IS NOT LIKE MINE BUT SHE HAS TT WEAR HER GLASSES EVERYDAY..I HAD NO CLUE THEY WERE LIKE THAT CAUSE SHE DON'T TELL ME AnythANY.. CAUSE SHE FEELS BAD I WILL PAY FOR IT..IM HER MOM....IM ON A FIXED INCOME SO $150 UNDER IT HAS TO BE...I GOT AN EYE CONDITION,MY VISIT IS FREE BUT CONTACTS AND GLASSES COST ME 6-700$ I HAD TO GO CHEAP AND TO WALMART LAST YR..MINE BROKE.I CANT SEE NOTJNOT..I DID GET INSURANCE FOR EYES ..THANK GOD THIS WK I GET TO FIND A DOC....VISITS AT LENSE CRAFTERS IS $50..I ORDERED 2 PAIRS OF FRAMES FOR $15 off internet..be here Tues.. ..SO SHE HAS FRAMES.. This place is so legit. In my 20+ years of having annual eye exams, I’ve never had a doctor spend so much time with me and be so seemingly thorough. This guy explained everything and left no question unanswered. Dr. Brugnoli is the man. That’s not even to mention his staff. The opticians in this office are some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. Sarah, Carly, and Darby were super kind and patient during my contact lens fitting. This office is seriously A+

I had an awesome experience with them! I called them and they were able to set me up with an appointment the same day, even staying past their closing time. They were so helpful and even had the necessary eye drops I needed so it saved me a trip to the pharmacy. I definitely recommend this place, perfect for students living downtown trying to save a drive somewhere!

Awesome customer service. Walked in to look at Costas for fly fishing and walked out (actually have to wait for them to arrive) with prescription Costas for my wife and I and new RX glasses for me. Great and fast service from Heath. To bad they're 2.5 hours from home. Definitely recommend for customer service.

This was by far the best experience I've had with vision care. Dr. Brugnoli is excellent; he was extremely thorough and actually listened to any concerns I had. I visited eye doctors in Boston area, NJ and Philly but I would rate my experience here the best. My appointment was at noon and exactly at 12 they called me in. Can't remember the doctor's name but he was very patient when explaining things related to my vision and also how contact lenses work. I was very impressed and I highly recommend!

Last year I asked if they could just do lenses to fit my glasses. They looked over my glasses and said of course, we used to carry those. How great is that? Just buy the plastic instead. Well they sent my glasses back over 3 times. All while I did not have a back up pair. When you send glasses back and forth 3 times it is at least 3 weeks without glasses and how I convent is that? Welkom the vey last time the assured me it was going to be fixed. I get to pick them up and it was the worst yet, but I couldn't wait any longer as I was going on a cruise and really wanted to have my glasses as I can't see to even drive let alone enjoy myself. They were horrible, but I just couldn't leave without them. So I took them and they told me they would probably be fine. Just bring them back in when I come back and they would for sure be fixed. I make it to 2 hours later before my lenses fall out and one was lost. I then couldn't get them fixed without paying for new lenses as I lost these. It was awful, but I was stupid and went back to them. The doctor is great, so I just chalked it up too a one time thing. I still think the doctor is great, but front staff is lacking. I just ordered glasses and sent them my prescription on the 19 of June. I just called expecting to pick them up and they were like we never received your prescription. I still have the email so forwarded it to them again which they promptly received. I'm disappointed because I was told on the 19 when I called they had it, now they are claiming they never received it, but you can clearly see when I sent the email. So at least it's only another 10 days to wait right? For sure never again, my husband and I will go somewhere else for sure.

Being a relative newcomer to Morgantown and needing an eye care provider I was referred to Optical 101. I just left my appointment with them and had to share the experience. On a scale of 1-10 this business gets an 11. The moment I walked through the front door I was greeted with smiling faces and welcoming remarks. Registration was painless and there was no wait time to see the doctor. Dr. Brugnoli greeted me in a genuine, professional manner and proceeded to complete the most comprehensive eye exam I have ever experienced. As the exam progressed he explained to me, in layman's terms, what each part of the exam was intended to accomplish. He is a true professional and his demeanor was excellent. In addition to the excellent experience with the exam itself, the office has a very wide selection of frames, sunglasses and eye care products--truly one stop shopping. If you are looking for excellence in eye care look no further than Dr. Brugnoli and Optical 101!
