Glasses and frames are way over priced. When I compared prices the pair of frames was marked up 100%. When I pointed this out to a worker she said they mark up their frames and then tried to justify it. If you have insurance expect your insurance company to be billed high. My family has went to this business for years because the eye doctors are excellent, but we will not purchase eyeglasses there again. I would suggest price comparisons before purchasing glasses.

I have seen 2 of the doctors here for exams and have been very pleased. The exams are super thorough and more advanced then I have had elsewhere. The glasses selection is huge and seem to have a price point for any budget.

After having tried several other Doctors, I have to say Dr. Showalter is the most Professional ,caring and understanding Eye Doctor I have ever been to in 60 Yrs. of wearing glasses. I am very dissatisfied with their billing. When I had an eye exam on 2/23/2010, the bill was $181.95 for exam frame & lens. My recent exam was on 4/3/2012 & the total bill is $316 for lens & exam. That does not include my frame. The new lens were put in my old frame. When questioning billing, I felt I was given the run around. I or my wife will no longer patronize Eye Doctors. They are too expensive. I get a bill today for $100 in addition to the $216 that I paid on 4/3/12. It states it is due on 1/19/12 . My exam was on 4/3/12. Figure that one out.

I recommend this eye care practice. We have always been able to get an appointment in a timely manner, and I believe they take walk-ins as well. Recently the frame of my daughters glasses broke while sledding, and they were able to replace the frame while we waited. With their replacement program, I only paid $25.

I took my teenage daughter in for an exam and was very impressed with the staff. Jeannie in the optical department has a way with young people. She really went out of her way to make my daughter comfortable with her glasses. As a mother, I really appreciated her patience, kindness and her understanding of how traumatic my daughter thought it was to get glasses. Teenagers can be tricky to handle, I am happy so say my daughter and I are BOTH happy with her treatment and glasses.

Jill is great but I ordered contact lenses for my son they gave me a rebate form which was no good but if they would gave the form back in May I'd be able to get it so now on I'll order online. Ok dropped down another star after the glasses started chipping and wasn't supposed to and they couldn't figure out why so charged me $25 for lenses again. I can't believe I'd be charged when they don't even have a clue what caused it. Will get my glasses and contacts from another RELIABLE place.
