I have been a Costco member for years, and have rarely been disappointed. The food, produce, meats always are fresh and delicious. The staff is courtesy and professional. The name brand products are high quality and well priced as well. Thanks Costco (especially the Winchester, Virginia warehouse) for being consistently a great place to shop.

Its Costco! Is there really anything more to say. I live in Maryland but go to the Costco store in leesburg Virginia alot. They offer alcohol at this location. Huge selection of Wines and beer at a very discounted price. Alot of the wine and beer is local which is a plus. That's really the only difference between Maryland and Virginia stores. It does seem as though MD stores have a larger selection of seafood.

This Costco seemed very well maintained and had polite employees. While checking out I left my phone on the counter and the lovely Celina ran outside to catch me before i got in the car to leave. Thats the right employee that should be promoted. Because of my pleasant experience and Celina's effort to go beyond the call of duty I will be coming back. -Bruce

Who doesn’t love Costco? The staff are always friendly and smiling. And this location can get busy, but it’s never as busy those closer to the city. Only thing I ask is that the food court brings the hot dog and fries combo that some of the other Costco locations have started doing.

If you can't find what you need in bulk here then you're probably not looking hard enough. Great staff, great return policy and 'concierge' coverage. Membership prices have gotten a little out of hand but will she'll out the cash for the time being as everything else is pretty much a plus.

This Costco shares part of it's parking lot with Target, which is not great, but when is parking at any Costco ever easy on a spring afternoon? There were more food sample stations at this location than I'd ever seen in any Costco before. Gas pump line was much easier and shorter than what I am used to at the Sterling location.

Normally a fantastic warehouse. Today 2/17/19 was a dramatic departure from normal. The lady at returns (10:00am) was painfully unpleasant. She gave us the business for why we would want to return an unopened/unused item that we purchased the week before. Sad to say that one bad experience overshadows many good ones.

Fabulous experience at the optical department. I was skeptical about getting my glasses here but not any more. Justin and Melanie were both particularly helpful and really know their stuff, gave honest opinions about frames and adjusted one pair for me after I got them to correct an issue. I got two pair without insurance for less than one pair where I usually purchase with insurance!

First time being at a Costco that had wine and beer. The only let down was that there was no hard liquor. But the Costco as a whole was nicer and cleaner than another I have been too before. The food court has a kiosk that can be used to order food which is nice.

Be careful at Leesburg Costco. Read carefully expiration date on all items and inspect all your produce. Known for selling products that are near to expire and rotten produce .

I am not a Costco member, but I sometimes accompany older members of my family who are members to assist them. As a wholesale style shop, Costco stocks many bulk and/or multi-pack items, but they do also offer deals on some affordable single items, like clothes, seasonal gifts and decorations, and books. My family members buy wines, meats, and bakery items here through the year, but also find it a good place to stock up on many food, drink, and gift items for when we have out-of-town guest staying with us.

In general a great store, but I just discovered that all of pre-cut steaks they sell (except for filet mignon), yes even Prime, are blade tenderized. The problem with blade tenderizing is that it can possibly introduce bacteria into the center of the steak which is why the labels say to cook the steaks to 160 degrees. This is insane as any steak lover would attest. Hello, why would a buy a $15-20 steak to ruin it by overcooking it. I called Costco corporate to find out why this was being done and was told that these decisions are made by the local Costco regional office. I called the regional office and left a message to ask why the meat was being tenderized but have yet to hear back. The real danger is that most consumers do not appear to be aware that Costco blade tenderizes and will cook the steaks the way they want to. Maybe if people stop buying their steaks they will change their policy. Off to Wegman's.

So I get a blanket, two left. One purple and packaged, covered. One is a guy color, brown.... no wrap or tag.. I want that one.... bring it to customer service with the other so a price... Is in a ball and no wrapping , washing it now... Ask for a small discount, anything... this over weight kid with a brown beard says NO we can mail it back with no tag or wrapping... I am like JackA what is your problem... Christmas time and this is the display item and you cant give a customer who is spending hundreds and hundreds a small discount for a fingers blanket... I bought it anyway... screw him and was going to tell his boss. They must be picking smart butt kids and don't care.... my opinion!

Is there a better store than Costco? I never know quite which treasures I will find in there as the selection of items rotates often. But you can almost always score a sweet deal there. The food, beer and wine selection is awesome and my latest visit yielded some fabulous deals on some pull over shirts with soft warm linings.

My family and I much prefer this Costco in Leesburg over the one in Sterling. The warehouse either has more square feet and therefore is easier to navigate with a wide Costco shopping cart, or the layout is better, I don't know which. All I know is, it's a much more pleasant shopping experience. Even when the parking lot looks crowded we still don't feel overcrowded in the store. And the checkout lines run faster in Leesburg than in Sterling.

I broke my glasses frame but had an older frame the same size that I wanted the lenses switched into. This was done promptly and the optician voluntarily replaced the nose guards as well at no cost. Very good service.

The leesburg costco has become significantly more crowded in recent years but is still a great place to shop. The meat selection is particularly good and this Costco is one of the few with wine. The lines are insane on weekends though so if you can go during the week you will have a much more pleasant experience.

The Leesburg Costco is a fantastic store, but I am only writing this review to complain about products. First of all, the fruit smoothies at the food court. I used to purchase one every time I visited Costco, they were my favorite. However, they have changed the recipe recently and I am very disappointed in it now. It is more yogurt than smoothie and the fact that you can almost choke on a whole berry when it slips through the straw is unappealing. I have also noticed that Costco may be changing its recipe for its chocolate chip cookies. I just bought a pack recently and they do not taste the same to me at all. This may just be my tastebuds or bad memory, but if it isn’t, why are all of these changes occurring? However, everything else seems to have stayed mostly the same and the store still has great service and is extremely clean.

busy, popular like most Costco's. I like their optical department that very good deals on prescription glasses. Also, you can't beat the generous and delicious baked goods... death by chocolate cake, chocolate mousse cake are regular offerings that are well worth their very reasonable price. Great price on extra large rotisserie chicken that's really tasty. Their gas station is usually 5 cents or more cheaper than other gas stations in the area.

Weekends are ALWAYS going to busy here. The store is clean and most of the staff is energetic and engaged. The return deck/ customer service desk is the exception. Stock is consistently in piles in this area and the staff comes across as distracted. Almost always there are employees involved in venting about their jobs and/or busy talking about protocol etc.

Costco has everything you need under one roof at a really good price you have to be a member in order to qualify for the costs and the membership can range anywhere from $50 or more a year but it is worth it if you know of a family member that's also helpful because you all can get a family membership. they have food and medical prescriptions and produce and furniture and kitchen items and tons of things like clothes, seasonal items, and electronics
