I hate to do this because my last review was so wonderful. Doctor is still very helpful and knowledgeable, really wants what’s best for you, which is why I’m staying. However, front desk quality and efficiency has gone WAY WAY down from when I first started coming to Metro Eyes in spring 2018. All different staff who continually talk over me when I try to ask questions or explain something. One woman needs to really work on her professionalism, as she just laughs everything off, from insurance questions to contact prescriptions. Used to love working with Tom when I needed an appointment or help, but now I dread every time I need to call or walk into the office because I know it’s going to be frustrating. They can’t even get my appointments right because they don’t LISTEN while I try to talk. I booked an office visit for bad dry eyes and they say “okay you’re here for a new glasses fitting?” It’s comical! Reception is not a good representation for this business.

I had not been to an eye exam in > 30 years, as I never thought I needed glasses. Everyone should do this, and the experience at Metro Eyes was fantastic. All staff were friendly and efficient, and Dr. Barnett was very thorough, pleasant, and informed. I don't know what else to say, she was just really fantastic.

Dr. Morshedi was excellent. He was one of the best. But he is no longer there. I've had really poor customer care and experience now. They could not get my prescription right. They scheduled my follow up appointment with another optometrist than the first one who gave me the eye exam. It's time to go to another optometrist.

Everyone who works at Metro Eyes in Vienna was just fantastic. I was greeted immediately and made to feel welcome. I was grateful they take insurance and they were so knowledgeable about what I could do get the most for my money and were extremely considerate of my budget. I rarely write reviews but the quality of the service, the knowledge of the doctors and the selection of products was very refreshing and could not go ignored. I highly recommend this location to anyone who wants the best quality service and care. Thank you Metro Eyes- Vienna!

Every time I call for an appointment for myself and my family, the receptionist can ever help. She only says... can I take your number and call back in 5 mins. SHE never calls back! Do you guys not want our business??? I really hope the owner sees this and looks into whats going on. This is ridiculous.

Probably the most friendly doctor's office I've ever been to. The front desk is very kind and welcoming. Dr. Barnett takes her time with you and is very thorough, which is refreshing! They are also very upfront about the costs of everything. They don't pressure you into buying the most expensive products, but they respect your budget and work with you and your insurance. If you need a new eye doctor, I highly recommend Metro Eyes!

I have only praises for Dr. Morshedi and Mossa. From the time I stepped inside until the time I left, I had a very pleasant experience. Dr. Morshedi is very progressive and covers all bases. Mossa is outstanding and helpful with the entire process of getting my contact lenses and eyeglasses. I highly recommend them if you're looking for a good eye doctor in the area.

In July 2019, we visited Metro Eyes, located at 260 Maple Ave E, Vienna, VA. Initially, they said they are in network with Eye Med and that we are eligible for a pair of eye glasses with a frame under $140, but at the completion of our order, an associate of Metro Eyes said that he just found out our plan does not cover this benefit and we have to pay ourselves, however, he will give us a discount. He gave us a receipt to file a claim for a reimbursement. Metro Eye charged us $460. When we submitted our claims, Eye Med associate told us that Metro Eyes had claimed for the services rendered to us on 7/6, and they paid $500+ to Metro Eyes. In fact, Metro Eyes charged us twice for one service. This is not a fair business practice. We are writing this review for the awareness of the people in the area.

I used to go to this place in last 5 years. The team is changed and a new set of people are there. I just left this place and I had the worst experience. They have a really poor customer care and experience now. They could not get my prescription right. I was waiting for my glasses for two weeks and it was wrong. I cancel it and got my out of pocket but they already used my insurance benefit. I had to call VSP to fix it. They do not even care, very arrogant and no experience at all. No lack of optometrist, just find someone else.

I found this eye doctor through Google on a whim...I needed a quick appointment so I could get a pair of glasses I wanted and I needed a place close to where I was at the time (Vienna). I live in Arlington so I wasn't expecting this to be my "regular" eye doctor. I was so impressed that I wont go anywhere else from now on. I was able to get a quick appointment and when I got there, I was greeted by a gentleman and a lady who were both pleasant. I was about 20 min early and I only had to wait about 5 minutes to be seen. The optometrist was pleasant and not pushy. I let her know I ordered a pair of glasses at Warby Parker already and I just needed an updated prescription. She and the admin staff just gave me the prescriptions and let me know to give them a call if I needed anything...didn't try to push me to buy contacts or glasses. I went to MyEyeDoctor last year and I felt pressured to buy contacts there and spend a ton of money. I've also been getting bombarded with texts and emails from them. I had such a good experience at MetroEyes, I will go to them from now on.

Very nice looking facility and incredible customer service. The people at the front desk are very organized and friendly and take the time to explain everything, particularly if you have vision insurance they take the time to explain it to you and find the best deal! The doctor was very friendly and thorough and takes the time to make you feel Like you are a valued customer and not just to rush you out to get more clients. All in all it is evident that they are all trying to get repeat customers and give you the feeling of a neighborhood family practice.

Dr. Barnett is very knowledgeable and cares about making sure you are taken care of. For example, I'm in the process of determining a better brand of contacts. She gave me a bunch to try out. Additionally, I just found out the place I used to get glasses at (LensCrafters) seriously up-charged me. I was paying around $300-400 for new glasses (done in house), when it should've been $100 (done remotely). I never received this option, or I would've taken the cheaper option. Highly recommend!
